         I think some of us  <_< are overreacting. After all, it is just an experiment. If it does not work out it can simply be terminated. Personally, I think it's a good idea, people talk about this forcing players to buy crystals but I gain most of them while going on a marathon of rigorous team battles to gain the battle fund so having ALL the crystals on the battlefield (normally left to the campers to run after, only for them to be mowed down by shafts in the process) are going into the fund towards their rightful owners. With the battle fund growing quickly and evermore large more Gold Boxes will be dropped which leads to you guessed it: MORE FREE CRYSTALS. That's not all, Gold Boxes will be dropped immediately after the alert meaning no more standing dumbfounded, wondering when it will happen.      ~Vic-Viper~

I actually like this update. It's similar to getting permanent double funds, and it's great, since I get most of my crystals from the funds. There are no more mults/saboteurs camping for crystals and neglecting their team, so that's good.

I say it is nice the crystal fund goes up fast and to very high amounts. The one problem is sometimes I cannot always play an entire match so I earn no crystals.

Honestly, I like the new idea of this update with crystal drops going in the battle fund. I have already seen the new gold box system in place and it doesn't work very well. I'm sure other high ranked people feel the same way. Hopefully the gold box notification is put back the way it was.

Hi, I understand the meaning behind this experiment, but I disagree with it. The crystal boxes are ways to earn money for people who do not have time to play an entire game or do not get good scores often. They are also kind of a fun disappointment when you get 1 crystal out of the box. Also, the it is a fun way to obtain crystals and if you do not retrieve it, people do not get as mad as they do if it were a gold box. These crystal boxes are a fun part of the game and I would be less interested in playing the game without them. Thank you!

Its a terrible update to a fundamentally flawed reward system. I will wait to see what my son says about it in the morning, but I suspect as hes a low rank and crystals are quite important to him he won't like it, but we'll see.

@AR12GAMING on you last reply, so how are noobs who have just joined the game suposed to level up? Your logic is one that will destroy Tanki as new players will not keep playing in this system that is biased to the established higher ranked players.

I've only played 2 matches so far during the experiment but i have to say, i like it. The first day of the predictable drops update, everyone was camping at the crystals spot, no one was playing seriously. Now they are!!

 

However, since the losing team won't be getting a lot of crystals, you should either adjust the battle funds for the losing team or you should give us back the old crystal boxes that drop randomly.

The idea about the regular crystaks drops is a pretty good idea. But the gold box idea isn't to great..

Like if there was a gold box that dropped I wouldn't get it because 90% of the time I'm fighting (and dying).

 

I liked Tanki Online how it was before when

1.) There wasn't predictable drops.

2.) There was no such thing as 20, 50, and 100 crystals (especially the ones that get you disappointed: 1, 5 crystal boxes).

3.) Gold boxes didn't drop right when the signal appears because half of the time I'm lying upside-down and somewhere else (side of the world) where the gold box doesn't drop.

 

JUST REMOVE THIS UPDATE AND THE OTHER ONE IT'S THAT SIMPLE.
