this is the worst thing to ever happen to tanki online...there is no way we can be ready for gold boxes...especialy in ver big maps...its the most ******ed thing in the world...ive caught 5 gold boxes with the " GOLD BOX WILL BE DROPPED SOON " signal, with the "  A GOLD BOX HAS DROPPED " sighn it gives you no time to get ready for it...but I like the crystals in the battle fund thing, you should make the gold box go in the fund so its a fair game and nobody get mad over someone else getting the gold box...plus I like the new look for the new tanki online...please change the gold box update. nobody likes it

. leave the crystal drops in Death Match mode. People love crystal grabbers in those games.

. remove the crystal drops in all other modes. Players that play team type battles hate crystal grabbers ruining the game. It will encourage players to focus on playing the game and contributing to their team, instead of selfishly ignoring their team.

. pay the players directly, exactly the same way they currently earn XP points. This is a much fairer way to hand out crystals. What a player earns is totally up to the player and affects no one else.

. adding only to the battle fund is encouraging more mults and saboteurs. When the battle fund gets large enough the temptation to use mults to insure a win is to great. (This is already happening, and started on day 1 of this experiment)

 

This re-work of the economic system needs to be done very carefully. It needs to take the considerations of all types of players into account and do what is right for the greatest number.

If this is to be implemented forever in the game it would be the worst update in tanki, even worse than the new drug system. The battle i actually like playing to until the end are xp games and it gets boring if the enemies aren't good, when I play death matches I mainly aim to get crystal boxes, I don't play normal capture the flag games because mults have been in the game from the beginning of tanki and will always be so my team usually loses, if you do implement this in the game keep death matches with crystals because no one can mult in Death matches.

I quite like this update! I was very happy with the old system (ie, just 10 crystal boxes and no predictable drops), but this is quite good too.

 

Crystal boxes being added to the fund sounds good. Though I hope Gold Box drops will be put back the way they were. Besides, "Gold box will be dropped soon" is classic now. :P

I quite like the idea of keeping this message anyway... ;)

This is one of the best corrections Tanki have made... I am glad they have done so.  To bring back crystals will be fine, but no more than 10 please.
