Join the experiment with crystal drops

This update causes players to rank up quickly without having the resources to buy equipment that will support them at that level.  This is very frustrating , and will cause people to leave in droves.  Driving up ranks in this way makes players a one shot kill for higher ranks with all the equipment.  Who wants to play under those conditions?

 

Go back to the old way.

 

And make the amount of experience points received for a kill relative the rank you kill.

This nonprofit organization and made this game for the money

I hate this...

 

You can play for half an hour or 45 minutes,earn 500-1000 experience points and get nothing out of it!!!

 

Please reinstate crystal drops!

I agree.... for 10 crystal's box drop ...not 20.50.100 ...and unpredictable drops  (unmarked)

Bring back 10 crystal boxes and the Gold Box update doesn't give players time to drug, and re-spawning players time to get it. Tanki should leave 15-30 seconds for Gold Box to drop. Less skills and more luck required for Gold

its a bad update!!!! battling for flags...no capture!!!!! plzz tanki return the cry boxes atleast the 10 crystal ones. its not fun and if tanki does not restore the previous things, i QUIT FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!! :angry: !!!! GOLKD BOX OKJ

I think this a great advancement in both the crystal boxes and the gold boxes.  I personaly dont go after cry boxes but when its added to the battle fund it is very nice.  Also with the gold boxes i feel like its way more fair for everyone to get them...not just the druggers.

This update is really awesome!

 

now no molts just want crystals

 

and no many players attack to get a gold box

 

now to get the gold box u need to be faster and skillful

not too many health and repiar

I personally do not think that the crystal boxes should have been touched at all in the first place.

In my opinion, it was a very big mistake - sorry. It was something that caused big problems - problems that had consisted and played a major disruption in battle. It made gameplay skydive and did the total opposite. The different crystal values actually made the boxes a lot more distracting.

 

Furthermore, the varied values made the boxes drop less, and thus, decreased the distribution to different players i' each game. I would have preferred 10 crystal boxes to drop (equaling 100 crystals in total) in contrast to 1 crystal box to drop (equaling 100 crystals in total.) Different people could get a part of those 100 crystals, instead of just one person hogging it up. But that's just my opinion.

 

Now you're testing the possibility of directly sending the crystal boxes to the funds. I agree, it does make the game more alive, exciting, and features much more intense gameplay with more player interaction. However, if you were to do this, would you consider re-organizing how crystals are distributed to the winning, and losing team?

 

Just like how it has always been, the loser hardly gets a morsel of the fund, despite their hard work and willingness to stick it out to the end. After all, without these "losers," the winners wouldn't have much to take home in the first place. However, the crystal boxes that drop from the skies actually gives the players on the losing team some extra crystals. Although they end with a loss, and hardly a "reward," they sustain enough crystals from boxes to make it worth while.

 

After all, omitting the crystal boxes ultimately leads to earning crystals only by the reward. What if you fought really hard for an hour, and have to leave? You have to forfeit the whole fund! At least crystal boxes would've given you a brighter side to it. And if you lose, well that's exactly what I'm talking about. You hardly get any reward.

 

So if you're going to do this, at least implement a system where either:

 

A. The losing team gets a bigger share of the crystal fund.

B. When you must "leave" the battle, you get to take some of the fund with you, depending on your score and whether or not your team is winning.

 

If not option A. or B., then I'll suggest to go back to how it was before: a uniform 10 crystal box value, with an increase in drop quantity.

Totally agree with your view on the disastrous crystal drops of 20, 50 and 100!

CTF and TDM, both heavily counting on team cooperation would simply cease to exist if these are introduced again.

 

Also completely agree with your point A:

Your Point B sounds sympathetic, but would be very hard to implement.

 

IMO if a Tanker only wants to play, or can play for a short time than it 's just a matter IMO to find a battle that doesn 't last long!

There are plenty of CTF 's with a time limit on them. Choose one of those.

(with TDM and DM you simply pick one with a low kill number)

 

IMO if you pick for example a 50 flag battle without a time limit than that 's your own responsibilty: you should have known

right from the start that this battle can last for hours.

I really believe that the players who stick with such a very long battle till the very end should be the ones to be rewarded:

they are the ones that also take the possible risk of a technical failure somewhere in that long battle.

 

 

My suggestions:

 

A. The losing team gets a bigger share of the crystal fund. Something like ALWAYS a minimum of 10 percent.

Even when the loosing team ends up with zero flags, they still get 10 percent of the total battlefund.

This will prevent players from leaving!

Players that stay will contribute to the total battlefund, so this is beneficial for both teams.

 

B. Crystal boxes of 10 (same as it used to be) till the rank of Warrant Officer 5.

Above Warrant Officer 5 ( the rank where the first M2 equipment appears) no more crystal boxes at all.

Starting from WO5 and above this will discourage crystal multing (simply by being not possible anymore),

and this will also encourage team participation in TDM and CTF.

 

C. The Goldbox should have a (very) short relay time.

It 's unfair if a Goldbox falls during a respawn or if you are in a really bad spot.

10 or 15 seconds won 't distract too much of the game that 's going on and will give anyone a fairer chance of

catching it.

Ok, I think the crystal box thing is a good Idea, 

But the Gold Box change was bad, I was in a battle, I died, it said Gold Box has been dropped, I barely got to spawn before it was even caught!

I didn't even get a chance to put on my drugs, I know it was bad timing, but if it were to say "gold box will be dropped soon" at least I would have prepared myself!

After playing for two days now I honestly hate both updates.

 

The drop system stinks and having no crystals in game means having to wait until the round is over to upgrade.

 

Had there been crystal drops I could have upgraded to m2 Hornet in game.

 

Bring back the random drops and crystal drops - the marked drops stink big time.
