Join the experiment with crystal drops

Collecting crystal boxes has been a part of Tanki Online from its earliest stages. However, it didn’t affect gameplay that much – boxes contained a modest number of crystals and collecting them wasn’t worth the time and effort. Plus, they would disappear over time. When developing the new drop box logics, we modeled crystal drops after supply boxes, without assuming that it would escalate the situation. The open testing didn’t unravel this problem either, as each account there had more than enough crystals so there was no reason to collect crystal drops. On release day, we thought that the complaints of tankers were caused due to doubled battle funds, which result in a larger number of crystals in drops.

 

However, we’ve recently changed our attitude towards feedback. We’ve started assessing and analyzing constructive feedback in the forum, counting positive and negative replies, and monitoring battle chats. This has helped us identify where the real problem lies. And we thank you for that!

 

That is why, as of today we’ve removed crystal boxes from the game as an experiment. Crystals that would have dropped in boxes, will instead be added to the battle fund as many of you suggested. Gold boxes are dropped right after the notification, so as not to distract players from teamplay, and give everybody a shot at catching the gold. The experiment will be on until next week. We will then specify our next steps.

i dont like it because you dont get much from the battle fund and goldbox should be like before, you should drop it after lke 20 secs

It's better if u don't add them to the end because if u need to leave before the end then you wouldn't have any crystals. Also, it's up to u to get your crystals and not the team, so if your team is bad then you have a smaller chance of getting a lot of gems if any.

If you are going to do the test as the proper thing. Do it as your are testing and as individual things.

I think this idea could work however, I believe that there should be an option when creating a battle to create a battle like this that way players can have a choice of crystal boxes falling or not. I think this solution would be the best of both worlds

Please Can you fix the Rewards 

As the fund is 6,000 (Crystals) i only get 1k when my score is over 1k and everyone in total even with enmey doesnt make 6k

so we dont get our reward of the whole game

By the way gold doesnt drop often i Took 2 today but i normally get 6 gold every 2 days

Battles won't be was good as they used to be, gold will fall sooner (That is good) but You want crystals dropping too occasionally, it makes the game better and more of a competition.

Hi,

 

Can you please bring back the crystals.... Adding everything into battle fund does not make sense. That way only winning team gets the big share & most of the time, there is no chance for others to get any crystals...

 

If the oppositions team is stronger - then there is no chance of winning.

 

It's totally one way battles - no fun remains. 

 

 

Add more fun & allow others to change to upgrade/buy new tanks.

I did the poll questions on crystal and gold drops today. But I missed a few questions, here are my suggestions:

 

(1) Is the system without drops a disadvantage to new and/or lower rank players:  YES

(2) Is the tanki game without crystal drops more boring than with crystal drops:     YES

(3) Is adding crystals in battle fund  disadvantage to loosing party in team battles: YES

(4) Would you like back the old system of crystal boxes drops: YES

There is no competition in normal game play upon who is better. People go happy for a 100 box kindof same much as gold . 

whats so wrong ? if you dont want drops then just go pro

 

I think its a good idea with 100 drops , those who want it can die taking it  , those who sacrifice it get to snipe and kill . 

once upon a time players like urself had good talent but over time the crystals zapped it away

I love that the crystal boxes don't drop so every one plays in the battle

but the gold falls kind of fast but it is still way better then it was the new update had every one just waiting for 100 to drop

Want the crystal boxes back.................Not a lot of fun now ....Hard for the lower ranks to make any money to buy updates on their tank, guns, or equipment needed. Please bring it back the way it use to be for all groups.

So does this update has already been installed as PRO parameter of game or maybe I'm wrong?
The one who wanted to play without disturbing the falling crystals could play in pro mode, for all other fell crystals and what is the catch here.
Could someone explain to me. Please.
