Join the experiment with crystal drops

Here's a cheat I am seeing in almost every CTF game now....

 

A group of players, either clan members or just friends set up a CTF game, and then get on opposing teams.  

 

They take turns drugging and multing.

 

Who gets cheated?  The non-group players who join these games.  They lose and most of the time they have no idea why.  They leave and are replaced by other naïve players, and the cycle goes on and on.....

 

Yes, this used to happen in the past but it is happening more often because ....

 

THE LATEST UPDATE FAVORS CHEATERS!!!!

 

Organized cheaters now get most of the crystals and honest players get almost nothing.

 

Why even bother to play any more?

 

Tanki has become a sewer where the rats rule.

why are you guys thinking so negative? I quite like theese changes i dunt bother picking up boxes anyways they make out the least of the crys you get in a battle! And the new gold r juts way miar awesome:))) i got like 16 golds during this change! pls thankers dont think so negative and to the staff / developers dont only listen to the feedback on the forums if people go here its to give negative feedback and the majority of people just think "oh well everyone likes the update so why would i post a i like this change in the forums?"

Personality of the game were crystal boxes, but with this update, the game will lose the PERSONALIRY :excl:

Add decoy targets or remove them entirely for gold boxes. Gold boxes were, should be, and should always be based on luck. By adding decoys/removing the target, it removes that definitive guess, which supports the luck factor. I love this update besides the gold boxes.

Oh?   Have you actually READ any of these comments?  I have.

 

There are plenty of specific complaints, with many of the same complaints listed multiple times.

 

Druggers are dominating most games now, and winning most of the crystals.

 

I suggest changing the name of "Tanki" to "Druggie".

Refraining from going down to personal insults, being a Facebook moderator and trawling through comments here has shown me clearly that many lack insight - removing crystal boxes automatically means you earn less, which simply isn't true.

The issue of the losing team receiving a small amount could be partially resolved by giving the losing team a greater share of the fund.

 

I still approve of the change, though. It provides an incentive for people to actually fight, and play the game properly.

Now that I have had more time on this I would say the overall concept of predicable drops is horrible.

 

Predictable crystal drops makes it much worse.

 

As was noted during testing the major flaw of testing was that everyone has unlimited supplies and crystals - so the flaws of predictable drops were never seen.

 

Trying playing predictable drops with no supplies and it is horrible.

I DONT LIKE THIS IDEA. I LIKE THE GOLD BOX IDEA BUT NOT THE CRYSTAL BOX IDEA.  THE BOXES MAKE IT MORE FAIR FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE LOWER RANK OR INEXPEIRIENCED PLAYERS TO GET MORE CRYSTALS. This update is really good, no more players just going after the crystal boxes and screwing teamplay. This benefits team playing and rewards those who really play the game, not just the crystal diggers.

 

What I'd like to see was the Gold Box drop point be completly random, meaning except for building's roofs and other unreachable places, the Gold Box could drop anywhere, that would be really cool, seeing everybody just running like carzy trying to find it :D and it would be all about luck, even a Recruit could steal a Gold Box on a Generalissimo battle...

Actually it is not that simple -_-

First of all I would like to tell you that I just ranked up to gismo few weeks ago. And I am saving up for other turrets and hulls. And I am not a buyer and I am short on drugs(this means I cant drug in). So for me winning matches is like real hard. Without drugs it becomes hard to stay in top 3 spots in a game and of course you need to win it. You wont believe me but I haven't won a single drug battle since this experiment started.

 

This experiment given back powers to the buyers again. Buyers got everything M3 in garage. They got loads of drugs with them and they are just turning around matches. And in the end we get nothing(my team mates just leave the battle) so how do you think that I should stay in a match where it Is 4vs8.

 

I am just relying on pro battles these days.

This is the worst thing that tank has ever done!!!  Crystals were a huge part of the game, u would need to fight over crystals. you don't get nearly as much money with the battle funds, and because the gold is unexpected how are you expected to make gold box videos if u don't know when to start the video!!!!

i don't see what was wrong with the boxes falling. and why fix it if it was sent broke. i hate this, i used to be able to buy anything that i wanted in the garage, now it takes ten times more time then it used to it sucks

So, if mults now have a bigger motive to sabotage games, the solution (as some see it) is to give up part of the reward honest players work for in order to keep those mults occupied collecting free crystals, right? This is like paying the neighborhood bully so he won't beat you up when you pass near him.

 

Having crystal drops is not the right solution to multing. Instead, some measures can help minimize the problem:

1. If a mult is blocking other players from capturing flags by parking a heavy tank on top of the flag base, you get a mammoth or titan and sabotage his sabotage.
2. If a mult is pushing, blocking, flipping, etc. his team mates, then leave the battle, join the other team with a shaft and let him have it! :lol: I do that oftentimes and many mults end up leaving shortly after.
3. If there are more mults than serious players in the match, then you are in the wrong battle, so just leave.
4. Report mults with video proof.
5. A player moderation/kick out system is indispensable and I believe the developers must be working on it.

Mults of all types must be dealt with radically for a better game experience.
Removing crystal boxes eliminates half of the problem, which is crystal miners.
The other half of the multing problem, which is saboteurs, must also be addressed, not by "bribing" them with crystal boxes, but by implementing the suggestions I made above.

I'm sorry you can not go box hunting. Why would you want to.

You are now a gismo and have a daily present of 3300 crystal value. Log in for a week and thats 23100 yes 23 thousand crystal value of drugs and crystals. thats 2310  crystal boxes or 462 drugs.

 

Why not accept you now have to play real Tanki and stop being a box hunter = spoiling battles for real Tankers..

Why would you need to upgrade - you can hang about and hunt boxes with any combo. Stop spoiling battles for real tankers.

How many battles have you ruined with crystal box hunting. This update is the best ever and long overdue and needs to stay.. 

 

You say, " i used to be able to buy anything that i wanted ", thats a lot of crystal boxes. All you are is a battle spoiling, box hunter.

 

With my daily present drugs and tactics I win enough crystals from battles for my garage needs. Real Tanki is like football - a fun skill game. 

Start being a real Tanker pro.
