The gold system is terrible. You dont have time for anything. You reduced the chance for a lot of people to get a gold. Some may be destroyed/respawning, some may be on a completely wrong side of the map and tge drop zones are ridiculous. You make golds fall in team bases, closed areas, and parts of the map where only a few of the players can go at the moment.

Just admit that youve made a mistake and move on. Nobody will judge you, especially when so many players request the update to be removed.

I hate the idea of no crystal boxes dropping and even though its added to the battlefund, some people may not be too good so they wont get crystals. Another reason is that you may be doing really good but were on the loosing team so you would get nothing that you deserve. Gold boxes are good because now you get that equal chance.

The only bad thing I have found is this:

 

For people who are not as good of tankers, I can guess that they rely a LOT on those 10-crystal boxes... eliminating them would be bad in that point of view.

 

Ways to fix it:

1) Have a thing in the create battle section that says: "Crystal boxes or No crystal boxes".

2)Keep the game the old way

Not Nice <crystal drops> I play with twins so short / mid-range battles are my thing.  When the game locks or I have to leave for some reason before getting to 90 minutes or 50 flags or whatever, I get NO crystals.  Makes the game <almost> not worth playing for me.  I assume most of the people who like the update are shafts who camp and don't want to fool with moving around the map.  Perhaps you can offer games both ways?  

 

Neutral <gold box drops> Either way is good although I would slightly prefer a little more warning, perhaps half what was standard.

+1. They told us that now, everyone has a chance for the Gold. But it's a lie. As you said, Golds fall in team bases. How this is fair? In stadium, Gold can fall near the flag. Same in Sandbox.

Hate the update. lower level people get like 0 money. then the people who buy dominate and get all the crystals. the rest get nothing which totally sucks. also the "gold box will be dropped soon" gave a chance for the players in bigger maps get to the drop zone and have a chance at it. now you are either there or not there which is ****. plz make it the way it was before this experiment.

i like to have crystal drops back tbh. im not a cry farmer but i liked to gather them as i was going through map. from what i understand here i believe everyone has a point,with crystals u get miners and so u lose the gameplay without them people will get to rely on funds so battles will be more fun and challenging but the downside is less to no crystal for losing team or noting at all which in turn make games one sided since everyone wants to be in the winning team or losing teammates because of it. also players that cant finish the game get zero.what i can suggest like some people did before is to provide modes with increased battle funds or cry drops and make both side happy.

oh i like the gold system now btw. there were no chance to get it thanks to all those heavy hulls camping on drop zones but now everyone has a chance to get it

The new gold system is interesting. Now it does not distract the gameplay and its better using light hulls since you can get to the golds faster.

i can go both ways because those 300 min battles i will not stay that whole time for the battle fund

and i do agree because of the increase of gold boxes i think i got 2-3 

I would recommend doubling fund by half but still drop crystal boxes

And when i am on losing team NONE of the people on that team get crystals

I really don't like the gold box part of this experiment, you just can't always be ready for it, specially when it falls randomly!

 

 I personally don't like the part where they removed the crystal boxes, but I know that it was a distraction so that was good (but not for me).

I don't even like getting gold boxes everyone gets mad at me because i get it with mammoth or anything else plz plz plz change it back to normal will 100 crystal boxes plzzzz!!!!!!! i really do not want my brother quitting this game because of this

Basically, I like this new update as I didnt rely much on crystal drop.. More teamwork and less betrayal.. HOWEVER, adding log in gauge based on how long they playing and they can claim from it after they finish playing, the longer they play, the more crystal. Or you can add daily log in crystal reward is a win win situation.

A few ideas:

 

1.  Simple:  Leave out crystal drops for team play.  Put 'em back for DM, etc.

 

2.  I like the idea of having more crystal drop locations, even randomly over the whole battlespace.

 

3.  I think the current resource drop scheme is a good one and a better mix than before.

 

4.  I would rather see 5 locations of, say, 200-crystal boxes rather than one drop of a single 1000 crystal box.   Number of "gold200" boxes dropped simultaneously  = number of players present divided by 4 perhaps?  You can change the frequency of drops if necessary to make distribution across Tanki equitable.

 

5.  I agree with posts 2563/4 that getting zero crystals for no flags in CTF creates a failed game and that a partial reward for the most damage, etc., would encourage matches to continue fully manned to the end.
