As a generalissimo, I'm surprised by your lack of knowledge. Earlier, you said that the amount of crystals decreased with this update, which is the opposite of what is happening.

 

Stop posting arbitrary comments like 'you aren't right' - perhaps if you explained why we would all take your opinion more seriously.

Well, an idea just popped into my head, so here it goes:

I'll call it Predictable Collectors. The idea is to go back to the 10 crystal box drops but with an automatic on/off feature. The crystal drops will be off by default for all battles and their value will go into the battle fund, but when action starts then drops may be turned on if all players are actively engaging in the battle, but if a crystal collector is suspected then it turns off and the value of the drops will again be added to the battle fund instead, and so on... This will only apply to team matches - more details below.

Crystal drops will be on if ALL of the following conditions are met:

1. All players on both teams have been in the battle for at least 5 minutes.
2. All players have a D/L rate above 0.25 in CTF, and above 0.40 in TDM.
3. All players have a score above 100.

If any of these conditions is not met then crystal drops are automatically turned off until all conditions are met again.

So, if a new player (who could be a crystal collector) joins an active battle where crystal drops are on, they will be turned off immediately (conditions 1 and 3 not met), and remain off until the new player proves that they joined to actively play.

Notes:

1. Some of the suggested numbers (limits) can be reconsidered.
2. Crystal boxes can have values ranging from 1-10 but not greater than 10.
3. They drop randomly with no marked spots.
4. A similar idea could be applied to DM battles.

umm u guys said ud do this for 1 day? when i logged in and that day was over i havent been seeing crystal boxes NO WHERE is this a problem or glitch i think my account is going wrong or its because of the experiment and its like days before that experiment started im kinda scared now... i cant get crystals or gold... they are not dropping do you have to play for a full day to get crystals again? im confused...

I have enjoyed the last few days without crystal drops, it has been nice to see those players who generally just farmed and just fooled around to actively try and battle, it takes time to acquire skills, I can understand that it may be difficult to earn in battles for those with no alliances in team battles and or get players with little skill on your team,

I would suggest that the crystal pot be divvied up to all in the battle equally to all the combatants based on points earned regardless of flags, control points, or team kills, so that even if it is a total d3s game with no caps for one team they still share equally in the crystal box pot.

But then that's unfair for the winning team and the skilled players. Maybe they should increase the fund the losing team get but not equally as the winning team and the skill players won't get that much as they would.

I've enjoyed it too :) it deals with mults and crystal collectors who join high ranked games because more crystals drop.

 

I don't think splitting it evenly is a good idea though. It provides much less incentive to actually win :p

 

Though I take you're point that the current distribution is quite unbalanced, a more balanced system would be good.

REMOVAL OF CRYSTALS!! i think it is a bad idea because:

 

 

1.  if a pro played in a game with bad players (noobs) and they lost he will not get crystals

2.  people would want to buy them but there r teens or kids who play it so they will not buy it

3.  even if u say the gold box will come more often and yes it increased chances but some times it is not showing

 

 

so wht i say for u to do is to either make the value 1,5,10,20,50,100 or if u think people will go to them and stop playing good i may suggest u make them back to 10 so i really hope tht u make them back

 

example for wht i said: my brother was trying to make 1000 crystals he found 1 good game he had to play it 3 to 5 times

 

so plz make them back

PLEASE   WE NEED THE CRYSTALS BACK

As i wrote in an another post itis wrong to do not have crystals drop...it is ok to have bonus crystals at the end of the batlle....but many times i was in batlle i had much time to finsh the batlle....many players..gone from the batlle....so i had to change batlles all the time....so my bonus was about 200 crystals for 1 hour game....this is wrong for us who sometimes we dont have time for a long batlle.So i believe that  is ok for bonus at the end of the batlle...but drom some crystals time to time...make the gold box drop in the batlle such as:

1-copper box =200 crystals

2-silver box=500 crystals

3-gold box=1000 crystals

and why not 4-platinum box=3000 crystals

Also i have a surprise for players that only collecting crystals....drop many boxes with a question mark on...who knows what is inside....is it an extra power?...is it fast speed?...is it a repair kit? who knows....baby it is.....A MINE inside to destroy your tank...or  it take your half life....or it is a BRAKES.....you cant move for a time...makes you easy target for other players....

Anyway  ....you can see friends....there are many solutions for crystals....PLEASE DONT TAKE THEM FROM BATLLE...WE NEED THEM

Another one problem....i have a friend trying to play the game with 3 finger missing in left hand..not so easy to play....dont you think?

I believe it is easy to add in game controls.....JOYSTICK....who knows how many friends in the game have problems like this...please do something...
