if you will not remove this experiment and do it permanent i will quit tanki enough bad updates alerdy

if people want to play seriously withough mults there is a pro battle withough crystal drops u know

remove this update

As a generalissimo, I'm surprised by your lack of knowledge. Earlier, you said that the amount of crystals decreased with this update, which is the opposite of what is happening.

Stop posting arbitrary comments like 'you aren't right' - perhaps if you explained why we would all take your opinion more seriously.

I've enjoyed it too :) it deals with mults and crystal collectors who join high ranked games because more crystals drop.

I don't think splitting it evenly is a good idea though. It provides much less incentive to actually win :p

Though I take you're point that the current distribution is quite unbalanced, a more balanced system would be good.

Ok first off wow. Your telling us not be insulting just because I called you a hypocrite then you go and prove me right by insulting other people whose opinions don't match yours

Earlier you also said that people who don't like this update aren't giving reasons however this just proves you don't even look at the the comments of anyone that doesn't mention you or says they don't like the update as most people who are complaining are giving reasons and they are all complaining about the same things and giving the same suggestions which is bring back 10 crystal boxes.

 

Okay. So you want reasons, feedback and suggestions so here are some points that have already. Been repeated countless times however you are totally ignoring them.

 

1. So you're saying that it reduces the amount of mults which it doesn't in fact it encourages them because more battle fund=more reward

 

2. You said that it increases the amount of crystals However you are totally ignoring the fact that these crystals are only available to a select few. So what about the rest of us hmm? Those that are forced to leave battles due to lag, connection issues, errors or simply having to come off the computor? (some of us actually have lives outside of computor games you know?) Or how about those that are simply stuck on the losing team? We get nothing or next to nothing that's what. Do you even realise how hard it was for non paying players to save up for something they want? How much longer do you think it takes after this experiment?

 

3. Like many other players have suggested why doesn't Tanki simply put it back to 10 crystal boxes again as it wasn't the boxes that were the problem it was the amount in them.

 

Okay this is what I've come up with at the moment I'll be sure to add anything else I can think off

Awesome! Loved it! Now everyone actually participates in the battles and I got 900 crystlas from a 15min match when usually it takes me 1 hour to get 500 :P

 

Like kirby said, deals with lots of problem, keep it up Tanki.

the losing team get nothing ,with all effort and xp gaining :huh:

but

the battles are very exciting and intense

i love crystale an i also love hot battles

i dont know what to say

Pro battles are quite unpopular at the low ranks, you know and also, not everyone buys the pass.

I do not like this update because of the gold box change, it makes it much harder to get gold boxes and now because of there being no crystals, u have to play the hole match which not everyone does or has time for. Please keep it the way it was before.

I know its most likely that no dev will read this, but I'd still like to share a couple thoughts.

 

I've played Tanki for more than 4 years now, I've watched this game develop in huge ways, and never before has there not been a crystal box. 

 

I think the crystal box system can be critiqued and improved, not completely destroyed. 

 

I'll lay out a few changes I think could help and then try to explain them.

 

1. Keep the battle fund at the same rate that it is right now during this experiment.

Reason: Tankionline is a tough game, the learning curve and grind for upgrades is brutal, A small boost to the battle fund that we are experiencing right now would be awesome in addition to crystal boxes. That leads me to the next point. 

 

2. Keep crystal boxes with the variations of amount. 

I think its smartest to have a range from 10 crystals to 100, it seems worthless to have 1 and 5 crystal boxes. 

 

3. Change rates and frequencies. 

I know the developers and players did not like the drops because it was not fun to just sit around drop zones and wait for 100 crystal boxes. 

 

Instead of making only 100 boxes fall when the battle fund is high and making it rare, why not have the frequency increase, possibility for higher crystal boxes increase, but variation still stay completely random! 

 

The reason behind this is because then even though the battle fund is high, and 100 crystal boxes can drop, the frequency will be high and plenty of the lower crystal boxes will drop too. Because the drops are random, people will be less likely to sit on crystal box zones. 100s will fall, 10s will fall, 20s will fall... you never know. Unpredictability can help players focus more on what is predictable, the GAMEPLAY itself! Predictability(knowing a 100 will fall) will cause camping. 

 

4. More Drop Zones

Having more drop zones will keep people from clumping around a few spots. 

For example, the map Silence only had THREE drop zones. That made people camp in those 3 vital spots. In order to not have that kind of camping, and increase the randomness of the drops, more drop zones(like 1 closer to each base) can significantly decrease the camping and help the random variations and frequency I already mentioned. 

 

Plenty of other maps also had very few drop zones, and they had the same problem. 

 

5. Crystals as non-predictable drops. (this is a lesser point) 

While I understand strategy being involved with predictable supply drops, crystals remaining unmarked could really help the game. When you play the game enough, like in the past, of course you know where the crystals will fall, but not having a marker will un-emphasize it significantly, especially for lesser ranked players that join games just for drops. 

 

6. Keep random Gold Box drops that fall instantly

This is just how it was at one point, I love it.

I know I've already posted here, but haters gonna hate. This time, my feedback concerns the modified Gold box system. I normally message people in other tab whilst playing Tanki. I hop tabs quickly after dying, and I used to be able to hear the gold notification and switch back quickly to try and get it. Now, the moment I flick over, and hear the notification, on large maps it is IMPOSSIBLE. In smaller maps a stand a slight chance, but haven't spawned yet. This update has made the game impractical to multi-taskers. A huge element has been taken out and I miss it. Keep golds as they were (but tell us where it will drop). Thank you.

Most people play for free without ever having spent a penny, and yet they complain about not getting as many free crystals. If you want crystals increase your skill level and earn them, or buy some. I see people commenting about high rank buyers getting a huge advantage because they own everything M3 and all fully MU'ed. Try adding up the cost of doing that, it is thousands of dollars :o . So based on that fact buyers deserve to get an advantage over someone who has never spent a penny. Buyers buy because they want to play the game and not have to worry about running around grabbing crystals, and being a burden to the team by not helping. It is not Tanki's job to support you, it is yours. Welcome to the real world.

Here is my experience with the experiment.

 

1.  Having no crystals boxes was rather nice, as I could focus on playing and not on collecting boxes.

 

2.  Higher battle funds were great, and at the end of battles I could fell better, even if I was on the losing team.

 

3.  I have mixed feelings about the new gold box timing.  On one hand, I caught two golds in a game.  On the other side of things, I missed one because when I was destroyed, that activated the gold box, leaving me no time to reach the gold after respawning:(

 

My preferences would be: 

 

1.  Gold box timing goes back to its original state: one or two minuets after warning.

 

2.  Stay with the old crystal boxes, ten a piece.  As they say: tried and true.

 

3.  For people who liked the new system, implement a Pro battle option for the new system.

Hey tanki no offence but the update is not really good as I play now with high level players they always steel gold boxes. With no crystals you have to play for ages until match is over and I only play for 20 mins so its not really that great. 

Improve needed!

Gold box update :

 

+ you need now speed and right timing so gold can get only good players

- when is gold dropping and you are dead or not on dropping spot, you haven´t chance

 

Boxes update:

 

+ bigger fund and if your team win, you will get prize for good playing ,-)

- if your team lose, you will in nothing

 

So I think it is great idea and I like it. So I do not care - old classic or this update, both are great :-)

So now after some days:

 

1. Boxes in fund are great! I really love winning 2k crystals in 30-40 min battles :-)

 - playing 2 hours Polygon cp , fund 35 000 = doubles 70 000 , impossible :)

 

So 10/10

 

2. Gold boxes update is good , but very , very often I am dead when it´s dropping. Today I was loading garage and gold felt next to me. But loader was still loading :-) , and gold was taken when I closed it.

 

So 5/10

 

Boxes in fund yes, new gold system no - or yes, but dropping time must be minimal 20 seconds.

Gold boxes are for players not multitaskers. Please tell how  you play Tanki and multitask at the same time and catch golds as well.?

The amount of crystals for those who aren't in the top 2 or 3 of the winning team IS indeed down.

 

I am getting far less now in each battle than I was prior to either the experiment OR the predictable update (and I am always in the top 4-5 of every team I play on - win or lose).

 

The problem now is that everyone in CTF on a losing team GETS NOTHING if the score is 0 - prior to this even the losers had a chance of grabbing crystal drops so there was still some form of reward if the team failed to cap a flag.

 

The worst issue is that when they had testing of predictable drops EVERYONE had unlimited supplies in their garage. When you have 99,999,999 crystals and can buy 10,000 of each supply nobody cares about how the predictable drops factor into the game because there is no reason to waste time on getting drops. This is why the testing was severely flawed from the start.
