Join the experiment with crystal drops

Serpuhov used to be one of the most profitable to play even if you could not get many flags.

 

Without the traditional 10 crystal drops it is misery:

This was about 45:00 our of 60:00.

 

If players are not getting some crystals why play?

Do you lose all your games? Or are you simply posting your losses to prove a point?

 

Unless you really cannot play, you'll win some, and lose some. If you win the rewards are high!

The most recent game I have played.

 

Predictable drops and smart cooldowns allows me to play without drugging.

 

I have no bought either, my gear is still base m3, but still performing fine.

 

It's easy to post losses and complain about not receiving anything - what about wins?

Dont you guys understand Tanki just wants people to buy crystals there not adding to the battle fund there just saying. :excl:

 

there are lot of experimenters who check this out... and unfortunately thats not what the majority says: i feel there was a MASSIVE increase in number of cry so i was encouraged to play battles, especially short term ones as they paid of well

The best update will be :

 

Make the Pro Battle Pass free - There is a crystals drop option in pro battles already. This will be more popular if the pro battle pass is free. or simply remove the idea of pro battle pass. Everyone can join any battle with the settings they want.

They complained about "crystal drop zone" and 100,50 crystal boxes, which was ridiculous.

10 crystal boxes were a especial beauty of TO and i don't think they were ruining the game badly which 50 and 100 crystal boxes did.

 

remember those days when 10 crystals ACTUALLY existed? no high rankers really went for it, so the tanki admins increased to 100 to encourage high rankers too, unfortunately this was too much and every one started to sabotage the game in order to get more and more crystals (i.e. crystal grabbers)... the game was getting out of hand so they introduced this experiment. and even though many are displeased, it stills pays out in the end as all players have to PLAY to win. not collect crystals like earlier. some people say that saboteurs are more because of more battle fund, but is that really true? all the saboteurs and mults in the game will continue WHETHER more battle fund or not... it doesnt make a huge difference. but this experiment actually REMOVED all crystal harvesters from the game so people cant just come and go as they please, thereby jeopardizing their teammates and the game itself. so i think that this update SHOULD continue on....

Tanki Online there are         many bad updates going on

1. fund distribution: this sucks right now even when u have added the drops to the fund

this is some maths done

TOTAL FUND= 2496
WINNING TEAM =2392 i.e 95.8%
LOSING TEAM =104 (srsly??!!)
i get only 7 crystals for every 100 xp
and winning team guy gets 85 crystals for every 100 xp

    do u think i couldn't have collected around atleast 10 boxes ... the player with the best number of kills in the whole match with over  450+ points gets peanuts where as the wining team's most stupid tanker gets my double with 80 points??!!!!

 

 

2.gold boxes: they suck now!

please rename the game as LUCKY ONLINE  the only hope i ad in the wholematch was to take atleast a gold box but as soon as i die the ****** gold box drops . Now what is the f**** point in dropping the gold box right after the siren ???!!!!!

only LUCK matters now 

Players with luck can get max number of gold box 

Skills dont matter in takingthe gold box

 

so far this is the wrst experiment/update ever . the whole economics of the game is spoilt . 2 weeks back u spolit the game with mults and now to remove them u spoilt all the game economics. 

 

 

3.10 crystals worth box was just fine . 

Now whywas this changed ever ??!!!!!

wasn't the game going well ???

u had to sppil it ??

please make the game as it was before the different valued boxes showed their f****** faces

SOLUTION: get back the 10 crystal box and also put a timer of 30 sec for gold to fall and let the mark of gold box drop be shown 

 

and when are the new  turrets coming?? will they ever come or is it just another hoax??

AND IF THERE IS TANKIONLINE CRITICS JOB OPEN PLEASE PUT ME IN THAT :P

and please make pro battle pass free if possible with crystal box drop as an option ( only the 10 one though)

No, I post each one. Here is the same Serpuhov map again, this time, my team won:

All I am saying is that having the 10 crystal drops like before (randomly) makes it more worthwhile to everyone and more attractive to play.

 

Serpuhov is one of those maps where bundles of 10 crystal boxes used to rain down in the center. Now the center is dead. Nobody goes there.

 

The beauty of the random drops is that it encourages people to keep playing.

 

Now I find myself quitting more and more if the score is 0 because I already got XP - why do I want to suffer and play out the round for 0 reward?

 

Putting them into general fund only benefits a few.

 

Putting them out in the playground benefits everyone.

edit your post and fast. mods are not going to be happy, even if you tell them to not edit. they will give you ban instead.

oh ya, to answer the question about why havent 10 cry boxes stayed, the reason is because nobody in the HIGH ranks wanted it (much higher than yours, ten isnt as valuable at that stage). thats why they made it 100, as it would have some worth if it was picked up, but the value was increased SOO much that even the generalissimos started to sabotage the game for it, hence no crys experiment

@Fufususumumu: I hope you either have a higher account, or play with high rankers if you want to be able to say "no high rankers really went for it."

And even if you do play with high rankers, I hope you have a sufficient combination in equipment.

 

You're correct about more and more saboteurs/mults ruining the battles in-game.

 

Again, I'll admit that this update did bring some good things. However, it is not perfect, and can take on some improvements to make it better.

Now, you say it still pays out in the end as all players have to PLAY to win. Although this may be true, the ultimate result is that the only crystal income you're receiving is from the Battle fund itself. You must play till the end.

 

If you don't, and happen to leave, you end up losing your score, and forfeiting all the hard work and power-ups you invested into the game. You leave with Exp added to your account, but empty-handed in terms of any compensation. Tanki Online should look for a way to fix this.

Perhaps there could be a separate amount of crystals building up so if you need to leave, you'll still be able to receive a set amount of crystals based on your score, and the situation of the battle.

 

Going back to how the ultimate result is the battle fund being the only source of crystals, I, and others do believe that the Losing team should be acknowledged more - especially the ones that exhibited a remarkable amount of skill, and dedication to the team.

 

Without the losing team, there is no winning team. Without the losing team, the winning team does not have much to take home at all. Without the losing team, the opposing team does not have anyone to play with, or against. They take on an important role that often goes unnoticed.

 

The current situation, the losing team almost hardly gets a morsel of the fund at all. It is a common argument that the winning team should deserve a bigger portion of the fund. However, that is a common misunderstanding. I do not mean that the two should be equal. After all, a game is very intense and there are often many situations where there are come-backs, so the winning team does deserve more of the fund. Winning is not an easy feat. However, the losing team does deserve something well.

 

When crystal boxes were available, this was almost a "second source" of crystals for the losing team. A good compensation, and something that kept them in-game and made the battle worth while at times. Although they are given a loss, they do NOT leave empty-handed. This update changes that. You are making the poor, poorer, and the rich, well just richer.

 

Sure, the players can just leave the battle. That's what I do,  because in the end it's not worth while being on the losing team. This is one of the biggest problems I have faced with Tanki Online ever since I have known this game - the fund distribution and (total) lack of acknowledgement for the "losers."

 

And for your information, there are multiple forms of saboteurs. One for instance, are mults. It is known to players that others are prone to sending in their lower ranked accounts to the other team in hopes of taking up a spot, and rendering them outnumbered in a way. At least that's what I have heard. Though I am not exactly sure how common it is, for I'm usually an Isida and am primarily healing my teammates.

 

Then there are the "raiders." The raids have absolutely sky rocketed for me. And this is exactly due to the higher funds. It's pretty dangerous when you have to end up switching to Mammoth/Freeze/Isida and squatting on the flag. . . .

 

I think this update should continue ONLY if further improvements are made. It is not perfect, and has problems albeit it has good potential.

If no improvements are made, then it is much better if we go back to the uniform 10 crystal boxes. Their values should have never been tampered with in the first place. As shown, it revealed huge problems that persist.

Having played a while now I think the old system was best as a middling way. If you get disconnected or ur rank/equipment not so good then at least u have a chance with drops. I do not think it should go back to 50/100 crys boxes etc.

I am waiting for Friday to see the Gold Hunter of the week in V-log. Must see the luckiest tanker  :P

 

Maybe 10 gold boxes will be the highest, or 20  :ph34r:

more like 50 i think

then we found out the biggest mult in this week who only waited for golds

@creeperskelly: I'm not going to be biased here.

Although I agree that the losing side is also important and needs a bigger share of the fund, your example isn't a very good one.

 

Check out the winning difference. The gap is 24 flags. . . .TWENTY-FOUR!

And your score wasn't that high in the first place, especially when compared to the opposing team.

I have an idea. Let's see how all of you respond to it.

Note: this only applies to battle longer than 60 minutes or 30/40 flags

Let's say that a player has 5000 points in a battle with battle fund 30k. The battle will continue for 100 minutes more. The player can't continue due to his own reasons. He will click on the button " claim crystals" and leave the battle. If his crystal share is more than 5% of the battle fund/ if his points are more than 10% of the team score( depends on what you decide) he will instantly get his share. If he joins the battle again his score will be 0.

Pros:

1. Will help those who can't play any longer but have worked hard in the battle.

2. Will give crystal only if they deserve it i.e. people with low score cannot claim crystals. This will stop multing to some extent.

 

Cons:

1. Players will quit the battle as soon as tide turns against them. ( if opposite team becomes stronger)

2. Crystals deducted from battle fund may feel unfair to opposing team

 

Please give your opinions and ideas on how to remove drawbacks.
