I have read one of the other members of tanki posts, and he wrote, "I'm stuck without getting any crystals in battles." I have the same problem, I can't get any crystals either. I maybe First Sergeant, but I'm saving up for an upgrade, and I'm not getting any crystals.

So tanki can you please cry boxes back to being dropped. Thank You :)

Not the best update. The lower rank players cant get much crystals because of this the gold boxes should drop more often.

In fact, tanki online is the game of the shame! Tanki Online can't say the truth! More players with drug, no more crystals, more dollars! (or roubles.. Russian money (in french)). And everything to keep arab players (money) into the hole.

Everyone knows it's part of he game play, just as in life, you have to spend crystals wisely on each of your tanks to keep up with the 'arms race' as you rank up.  That's all part of the challenge and the fun.  The variety in Tanki is part of the attraction and trying to work out best tactics to suit a situation and later on working with others (synergy) makes it special.

The reason it's necessary to be given crystals (I say 5 crystals for every 10XP points earned) - is so that both sides get some benefit from each battle and this makes it worth fighting hard on the losing side.  (The battle fund is still distributed as normal).

At present it's so important to be on the winning side that people are using 'dodgy' tactics to make this so:

1. Many tankers leave a losing side - and so we all lose!

2. Some tankers appear to be adding spare (sleeping) tanks to the losing side so they can jump on the winning side! This makes the losing side even weaker!

 

The reason the crystals should be applied immediately in batches of 5 - is so that if you're forced to leave a game (many reasons), or the game is very long then you will not lose everything.  At present long games are best avoided.

Providing free crystals like this will make it worth fighting to the end with a losing side.  I often prefer fights on the losing side - the fighting gets more intense and you get more targets.

Right now I mainly fight on the winning side - I need the crystals!  (It's much easier picking a winning side than it is betting on a horse race!)

 

To help noobs and not interrupt the game much - I still like the idea of dropping some crystals in a 15 second 'batch' every 10 mins in random places all over the map - even on top of places and the bottom of ditches that need Parkour skills to get them and could be fun for the noobs and the bored as long as they try to get back in the game as soon as they can.

it's a good update, eveyone is playing now. no more mults. only thing that i don't like is the goldbox update. i love to fight for the gold when it drops. yesterday i played a ctf in noise map. i was using mammy+freeze, i was defending our flag. after few minutes goldbox dropped. i didn't even had any chance to go up and take it.

persia.x  You deserved better after the skilled and long fight you put up against 3 higher ranks. You can be a big winner if you want or waste time and effort. Your score of blue 1100 would be worth about 650 - 750 crystal if on the red side. At the 1/2 way stage it would have been very clear that red had 2 / 3 higher ranks working closely together. A swop to reds at 1/2 way would have given you say 1100/2 score = 550 score. jajaja the red got 374 crystals for a score of 556. As you know how to copy stat tables - look at them more closely.   Top red had 1035 crystals - thats a lot of boxes. How boring is box collecting - start living. Or carry on wasting time and effort. I've just won 4 battles on the trot - thats alot of crystals. :)

I am consultant on highly complex projects. I have some advice for Tanki now.

 

Dear Tanki, please face it:

 

(1) the implementation of predictable drops with 100-crystal boxes was a big failure: in the testing phase the multing of players for 100-crystal boxes was not foreseen by Tanki, nor by its developpers or its testers

(2) after many complaints of Tanki's players - Tanki's customers - the crystal boxes had to be withdrawn

(3) this game without boxes has lasted for over 1 week now, also causing many complaints of players - see this forum

 

After this double failure in implementation, Tanki still does not have a solution, after 1 week?

I can not believe this

In ICT-projects with implementation, one ALWAYS has a back up or emergency procedures in case of failure or complaints

 

SO, I ADVICE YOU: bring back and implement the OLD system of crystal boxes drops.

That can not be to difficult, in ICT-projects

WHY does it take Tanki so long, to come up with a solution?

 

I think this is not doing good to Tanki gaming.

As I explain before the crystals have been added to the fund instead of dropping, so they're still up for grabs! Do they???
in the end it is added only to the winning team or at least the vast majority, in this experiment until now I am playing only for the winning team, if my team wins I have the motivation to play but if my team loss I just go out from the battle and find a different winning team. Of course, if I am go out from the battle I hurt the winning players in the game, if all losing players will leave the battle the winning team have to wait until the end of the battle to collect the crystals and they not adding any more crystals to the funds, because they playing against nobody.

"GT-FOX" fight very well against me but in the end he loss because of his team, it was really not up to him, look how many crystals he got compeer to "ruch_Thechosenone_eo" that score only a half of him. And the one gold box in the game, my team got it. Do you really think this system is ok?

If you really want to know if most of the player prefer this situation just like this, without the crystals you perform a simple experiments open server without crystals and then we can see all the bleeding hearts come into play in this game.

now that the crystal boxes are GONE, yo have to be in winning team to get something or find another battle. if u are in winning team then its opposite- enemies start to leave. previously they stayed and kept loosing just because that was a big generalissimo battles and cry boxes dropped often so people could collect some money by doing it the box way. now there is no fight with spirit either u leave becauz ure losing or ur enemies if u are winning becauze the losing team would get nothing, so if its time limited battle the winning team has to wait the big hours with no growing fund rather than increasing it COZ THERE WOULD BE SOME ENEMIES IF THIS HORRIBLE UPDATE WOULDNT BEEN TESTED !!!!!

Bring back the crystals!!!  When you're on a losing team or will not rank high in a match, getting crystal boxes are the only way to make being in the match worth while.  The bigger waste are the daily bonuses of double armor or speed or whatever.  I have literally hundreds of double armor and speed boosts I do nothing with.  I would rather have more crystals to buy better guns and tanks.
