Join the experiment with crystal drops

This update is unfair to players who dont buy gems I feel like it will be a greedy mistake if tanki keeps this going. I for one will quit this game if this continues and I know a lot of other people are with me on this.

so ...first of all hi to all tankers out there....now the problem with the crystals is this...some are lucky some camp some just kill...as before...I would like to bring to attention another problem ..now the campers with strong hulls get more crystals by killing more ...and the ones with speed that usually pick up from ground are disadvantaged...and another issue is the 50 percent off on shaft and thunder...now its affected ..I am a wasp player and usually got up to 300 cry for 15 minutes of battle...now with the crystals not dropping I get 150-200..i would like to ask you to suspend the shaft and thunder discount until this situation becomes clear ...with freeze and fire your beloved dynamite_9000

This is weird but I would like itsinstead of changing cristal amounts  just one heigh amount like 50 or 100 this would be awsome for players like me who dont want to spend actual money to get a turret or hull they want.

Good thing you actually listened to the players and you do something about it.

 

The complains about the gold are right. You removed the chance of light hulls getting it. You shouldnt let anyone know where itll drop before it does. Its like revealing someones future. Theres not much exitement but theres not much you can do either. Please bring back the old gold system.

 

(We also want xp mode so guys with other combos wouldnt benefit from our battle funds)

To be honest, I fully support this update/experiment. Every CTF game I've played, everyone except a select few were collecting crystals. Seriously, I only had 1 or 2 other team mates that helped me pull the flag. Very frustrating, as I assume many of you have had the same experience. 

 

The fact that there'd be no one to collect crystals, but rather help their team out, is worth the sacrifice of not being able to collect crystal drops myself in DM, in other games. And the Gold thing.. I'd suggest giving AT LEAST 5-8 secs before it actually drops. The Gold dropping immediately is too sudden and many might not be prepared.

 

I still haven't tested this experiment enough, as it came out recently, but by the looks of it, I hope they keep it forever.

flawed update again...

 

 

Gold Box: drops in 1 second of the announcment... does not give anyone chance to rach it... whosoever is lucky and already there will get it

 

fell on the same spot twice in silence

 

Supplies: falling too far form anyones reach and on odd spots not really benefiting anyone in battle. Need to get them back on the old spots they used to drop.

This experiment is crap.

-I liked catching crystals at different ways, that is ruined.

-I don't like the new gold box system. For me, the best gold box system was the old one. Everyone had a chance, it depended on luck and skills. Now, you need zero skills for the gold, just luck. The fun to catch gold boxes is removed.

-It is really unfair that you can only get crystals by winning (especially at team battles). In DM games only skill players can get better hulls, paints amd colours because they get much more crystals. The less skill players earn far less crystals and after a while they will be excluded because they don't get better hulls, weapons and turrets while other people do. They will loose more than ever. If you don't win and you have put a lot of time in playing (long time battles for example), it is really unfair to get nearly nothing.

-In addition to my previous point, buyers will get a much higher advantage in the game. I liked the game because the buyers didn't have a too big advantage. I won't buy any crystals.

-In team players it is more annoying than ever if you loose when you played well and your team mates were fooling around. 

 

This is my opinion for the first experiences.

Finally no more crystal campers thank you Tanki! However I will miss being able to pick up crystals here and there and whilst this system might mean more raids at least it should sort out mults as to get battle fund crystals you need to be helping your team in the game

 

(BTW I think battle fund should be distributed by player's score rather than winning team gets more crystals than the losing team because it's annoying when I do the best in the battle and almost win the game for us and at the end I get less crystals than the lowest scoring player on the other team. Who else has had experiences similar to this?)

Not a bad idea guys. As much as I love the new update,  I must admit, it's true it is a very big distraction. It was so popular during the double funds day that people started trolling in XP battles just for the 100 cry boxes. But it gives a chance to players to save up faster. Personally I want it to stay, but for the good of the Tanki community, it's much better if it goes. I will probably be in rage later anyway, when a team i join does not play the game and just collects cry boxes, and i will come back here rooting for you guys to remove it.

I think that the developers have done a generous gesture of increasing the crystal boxes. As it can give those players a chance who may not be able to buy crystals to buy/upgrade their weapons. However i think that there is a problem, that is that the crystal boxes don't drop often (due to them being based to supply drops), this can cause players to camp at the crystal drops and forget about the game entirely.  

 

I think an idea to this is, instead of the crystals dropping 50 box, then a 20 box then a 100 box is that based on the battle fund that is the solid state of the crystal box. For example.

 

A battle fund between 0-500 = 1 crystal box

A battle fund between 500-750 = 5 crystal box

A battle fund between 750-900 = 10 crystal box

A battle fund between 900-1200 = 20 crystal box

A battle fund between 1200-1800 = 50 crystal box

A battle fund between 1800+ = 100 crystal box

(THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE)

 

This would make players still forget about the low crystal boxes at the start of the game, but if they wanted to get the 20+ crystal boxes they would have to stay in game and make an effort to help get the battle fund raised instead of camping at the crystal boxes.

 

This is only an idea NOT a solution. i will give this experiment a go but like some players already know that this is not a good idea.

problema: everybody steps out of him if the team stands for losing and the winners suck, because what should be done without an enemy!

Then crystal, neither prize!

 

We ask it, let 5 minute countdowns be beginning if all enemies scraper at least!

Other than this.. every one is back to playing :)
