Hello :

Update of cristal Box : Perfect ( we don't see collector players anymore , All are playing as a team )

Update of gold box : not nice ( Player just still waiting  on gold box places ... and that killl the game .. :(( )

@Beaku: That's very similar to an idea I was fond of. However, the problem with that is exactly how it is affecting the fund itself.

The new way I improvised was that there should be a separate amount building up outside of the battle fund itself. You may take it if you must leave the battle. The amount varies depending on your score, situation in battle, etc.

This way, the fund is still not affected and avoids exploiting.

 

@SALAH: The update has a good central idea. However, it still needs some improvements. Big improvements.

Even a single pickup of a 10 crystal box would have been a better outcome.

dude comon see the difference :P 24 flags lol and your score is also damn low compared to the other team

I have an idea. Let's see how all of you respond to it.

Note: this only applies to battle longer than 60 minutes or 30/40 flags

Let's say that a player has 5000 points in a battle with battle fund 30k. The battle will continue for 100 minutes more. The player can't continue due to his own reasons. He will click on the button " claim crystals" and leave the battle. If his crystal share is more than 5% of the battle fund/ if his points are more than 10% of the team score( depends on what you decide) he will instantly get his share. If he joins the battle again his score will be 0.

Pros:

1. Will help those who can't play any longer but have worked hard in the battle.

2. Will give crystal only if they deserve it i.e. people with low score cannot claim crystals. This will stop multing to some extent.

 

Cons:

1. Players will quit the battle as soon as tide turns against them. ( if opposite team becomes stronger)

2. Crystals deducted from battle fund may feel unfair to opposing team

 

Please give your opinions and ideas on how to remove drawbacks.

your idea is really brilliant here the minimum score should be atleast 10% of total score , but this might affect the gold box i guess( please correct me if i am wrong:P )

not a bad idea at all one problem though 

i was recently in a flag battle 15 flags lasted over an hour and i am with a noob team 

not my fault  and some tanks hardly move at all i suspect opposite team had multiple accounts 

opposite team also organized ie clan or other not my doing ether and the only time you realize your on a noob team is after spending some time in that team.

problem is this before i would last an hour and collect a few crystal boxes within a few mins as i go around the map

and would not matter that much if over powered or not.because i would get some reward.

now it seams teams are being created to overpower but at the same time opposite team is also created at same time to loose. and loose big i got nothing for 1 hours play not my fault not my doing it battle system old style would mean i would get something. end score 0 to 15 flags ( me no crist nothing ) waist of time playing if no rewards. i gave an hours play and drugs for no reward.

if you don't see something wrong with this you are seriously mentally handicapped.

The most recent game I have played.

 

Predictable drops and smart cooldowns allows me to play without drugging.

 

I have no bought either, my gear is still base m3, but still performing fine.

 

It's easy to post losses and complain about not receiving anything - what about wins?

I don't know if you can play nowadays without drugging - I personally doubt it - but even so, you are one out of tens that can't play without drugging.

Is everyone of them a "noob that must try harder and develop some skill"?

Of course not.

A game is made for both the winners and the losers. Every time someone has to loose. A good player will loose to a better player.

Don't discriminate the players that loose a battle of a game.

Everyone - except the hackers  LOL- should enjoy the game. So, when it comes to reward, you should think all of the players, not just the top 2 or 3 of the winning team.

When a game comes to "all or nothing" it's not a game, it's lottery.

That's why TO has to think all of the players, good, bad, worse, best, lucky, unlucky, buyers and non buyers.

remember those days when 10 crystals ACTUALLY existed? no high rankers really went for it, so the tanki admins increased to 100 to encourage high rankers too, unfortunately this was too much and every one started to sabotage the game in order to get more and more crystals (i.e. crystal grabbers)... the game was getting out of hand so they introduced this experiment. and even though many are displeased, it stills pays out in the end as all players have to PLAY to win. not collect crystals like earlier. some people say that saboteurs are more because of more battle fund, but is that really true? all the saboteurs and mults in the game will continue WHETHER more battle fund or not... it doesnt make a huge difference. but this experiment actually REMOVED all crystal harvesters from the game so people cant just come and go as they please, thereby jeopardizing their teammates and the game itself. so i think that this update SHOULD continue on....

Also it is not as if a match with 10-10 opens up all the time - often times to get into a round with good ranks it requires waiting.

 

I do switch servers often because Rio is the one I play the most - but lately since the updates there are fewer Rio matches on any of the EN or RU servers (and, yes, I do look).loads of rio

 

 

 

Not always true - my destroyed/death ratio is usually .5 because of using Isida  - if I play an entire match it usually is this ratio - still, even so, I can come out on top often due to the healing bonus IF the team I am on is decent AND the other team is not full of people with thunder drugging all the time with double power and double armor.

 

In fact if I am on a good team I usually spend my time healing and harassing the other team's shafts - that is one of my specialties - hence the username I chose. :)

 

When you see one team always defending and one attacking it usually means the other team is drugging.

You need to concentrate more on winning - Isida is for xp - you just want crystals for not winning.

I would like the falling crystals to come back. I like crystal boxes with varying numbers of crystals - this is a great improvement. They make the game more fun, and it make it worthwhile to join games when you may not be able to stay until the end.

 

Please bring back the crystals.

It's awesome

i had a target to reach - 35K for hornet m2 at 50% discount

i was at 25k and now thanks to the new system in almost 2-3 days i have 30k

i like everything BUT the gold box system

i don't like this update. mainly the gold part as it should drop like it used to...

crystal boxes being added to fund great but worst for the team which loses the battle think if u r on the side of losing team what would happened to u...

the crystal part is alright as it triggers the gold box frequently

but

the gold box will drop soon had it's own excitement, now the player with luck(standing where the gold will fall will get the gold) and not the one with more skill and tactics

i request you to put the earlier gold dropping system back

Ok i have a few things to say now.  One is that crystal boxes are a natural part of the game they've been there since the beginning.  Two with the wrods Gold Box has dropped soon that's an important part of the game it gives more excitement to play.  Three is that it's a little hard to get gold box take silence for exmple.  With 10 players on a CTF map some could be camping right where the gold is and just get it.  So, you see you were wrong that everyone has a chance now it's just based on luck.  The only thing i do like is that Gold Boxes drop sooner.  By The Way i'm eleven years old. :3:3:3

Please bring back the crystal box drops. I liked the variable size crystal drops - they gave a refreshing change to the battle dynamics, although they did result in some players abandoning the battle goal and just chasing crystals. Perhaps they should not be labelled with the size of the drop, that may help.

 

Players own goals may differ from the battle/team goal. I think that at times, the primary goal of most "free" players will be to get crystals, and I guess that paying players will want to get either rank or crystals depending on their own situation.

 

With only getting the crystals at the end of a battle, I am reluctant to join a battle that is going to last more than 15-30 minutes in case I have to leave early with no reward.

 

With a battle, if all the opposing players leave, then you still have to stay to the end to get any crystal reward - boring, and you risk getting thrown out for inactivity if you are not careful.
