Collecting crystals is a part of game play . Of course after new update players are after the crys box (even flag holder) but i dont think players will always do that ... i mean as the update is new, so  people is even trying to catch the box value of 1... When players get used to the new update then they will stop running after crys ....

i am thinking about low rank players well if they have bad equipment then it is going to become more hard for them. to get to high ranks with better equipment. the only option left for them is to buy crystals. and overall it will make buyers more OP. as they dont rely much on drops and they will simply buy drugs and turn the matches around. 

 

i am not a buyer so right now i am short on drugs. without drugs it will become hard to win matches. and i will not get any crystals.

 

 

so the 10 box drops were cool. like i can pick it up while attacking enemy or defending base. it was not a big distraction except on double funds day.

i have mixed feeling about this i understand both sides arguing here

1) it really is annoying when you are trying to play and your own teammates wont help cause they are camping to get some crystals and you die because they did not put effort to help you, also i agree this whole game camping and wondering around doping nothing is crazy > :(

2) not everyone is able to buy crystals or he just want to enjoy a game without a need of spending his money, and sometimes wondering around is a good way to raise your crystal account.

 

if this experiment will stay yes it will be an improvement for a gameplay but probably at a cost of a big leaving of free users. i think it benefits players with a loads of drugs and some heavy upgraded tanks ---> they will drug---> the fund will be big ---> all the fund for winners----> 0 or just a lil income for free players with low drugs to use. so free users will turn to pro battles only with no drugs,  drugers will stay with normal battles in the end.

 

So definitly worth of testing but i am not sure what happens if it is implemented to game.

i agree, but its at the last better than the 100, 50 boxes, so im happy if it would stay, im getting crystals by battling and not cellecting.. so

This is much better than the situation yesterday which had degenerated into desperate and chaotic crystal grabbing.

 

The problem with crystals on the field is that some players will join a team and then just drive around grabbing crystals. 

 

Whether they do this just to get crystals, or they are acting as mults to help the opposing team, is irrelevant.  

 

Whatever the motivation, the effect is to undermine teamwork, which, to me is the best part of Tanki. 

 

It may sound naïve, but I think that when you design a game, you should design it to build positive social values.

 

By placing all the crystals in the battle fund you are rewarding players who are working as a team to win the game. 

 

There will still be mults but they won't get nearly as many crystals as before.

So , Now I had to wait untill the end of match to get my hardly earned crystals. It isn't fair for people who play only for some time n leave . I would be happy if you released this feature with another update , that gives me crystals accordingly when I leave the game . Without crystals there is no point in fighting for gold box as well (it is always luck that some one gets it). Also the probability that my team wins is 50% and I wont be getting nothing for all the hardwork I have done in the game.  With this update only the people who play for longer time are getting affected . Also the search system is also not yet fully  implemented so that I can search for battles with less time and I can't even go through all the battle servers to see which suits me well.

 

Tanki , I would be glad if you consider my opinion as well.

Besides, do you actually think that someone cares about your leaving? Moderators won't feel any differerence coz you aren't buying crystals for the real money. Day after day, new gamers coming..

Tanki could care less about even the players who DO spend significant money on the game. I wish I was wrong, but I'm not.

 

I spent quite a lot on the game from rank WO5 on up. And after a couple crappy updates this summer I completely stopped buying crys. And you're right, they could care less if one or even a thousand players leave. They'll not be missed. So rather than leaving, I play but now I play for free.

When I made the thread of how I hated the crystal boxes and stuff I didn't mean take them out altogether. Why don't you guys just bring back the normal 10 crystal boxes and kill everything else...

Its a good update and almost like double battle fund.

Those who are saying its bad for losing team, they are wrong, because now the losing team will also get almost double crystal than before.

The most beautiful side about this update is, now Its fair for all team members. Generally what happen with the crystal box? does everyone get the fair share? they don't and now they will get it. It's a beautiful update.

But gold box thing is weird. You can do one thing, Make some sign in the sky before gold drop. like a plane can fly or a bomb can burst then the gold will drop and everyone can see that the gold is dropping from the sky, this way the gold will more fun and will need skill to get :)

I love the Crystal Drops. We need them back soon. I work hard to get the crystals so I can upgrade my equipment. Now this is making it very hard. Bring back the $10.49  price on crystals which equals

90 thousand crystals.

The micro downloads need to shorter instead of hours to upgrade and bring the crystals back. Sometimes after downloading I have that the gun has been upgraded for hours seems that it doesn't work as good as it did before downloading.

The problem was people were excited to see the crystals of 50,100 . So they stopped playing game n went for them (just like me :D) .

If anyone complains about they don't spend for crystals "the poor me thing" that's not true! There are plenty of maps that you can play in that fits your skill level. Don't hang out in the higher rank games and crystal camp "it's over." Get some skills.

Just take crystal boxes out of the game...now why didn't I think of that?

 

In my opinion this is brilliant. I just got 700 crystals in a 15 minute game. Amazing! (Maybe not for some of you, but I enjoyed it :D ) Not only does it make games more profitable but it removes crystal mults and it ensures that those who join a game are in it for the long haul. 

 

If you asked us to vote on this update, I would vote keep it, no doubt about that.

not great idea this is increase time in game play and u will gain more we lose time ,, on losing side this dropping crystals is motive but now  .. not good idea ,,,
