To everyone who thinks this can somehow be abused:

 

It can't. It's the game owner's decision to toggle this spectator mode feature in the settings of a PRObattle. You cannot simply abuse this. This would be great for parkour matches, clan practices, and even normal battles! Why not? Players should also be able to see if it is a PRObattle with spectator mode on. There is no way this can be abused.

And if every player gets it tanki will not be functioning as well it was working with 100sub for spec.

 

I my self really like the idea of buying spec but again tanki will become a game of watchers not players...

 

And there is a reason y they give spec to only 100+ it is that they without spec had made the videos so exciting and cool.

 

The people who make this videos very well can be tested if they can make more better videos than they have been doing with out spec.

 

I my self hate the 100 sub thing but its good for our gameplay and I think in mere future some more people will be given spec without having 100sub (I do not include any new mods )

See invi u r clan becomes pro u keep spec mode on for a clan war and some other specs are also invited by other team .

 

The war starts

 

U r spectator busy recording at a very nice view

 

But other spectator might help the other team via Skype and turn the game against u r clan all u r tactics will dissolve ..

Spectator mode is opened only for moderators, but there still were some scandals.

Enable it for every player would bring to a disaster. Maybe you don't know, but with that you can see the life of all players and where they placed mines. This means that everyone could join a battle and tell to his friend in red team what is the blue team doing, who is defending, which side is more weak, who has low health, etc.

I would like to add to this idea:

I think that if spectators aren't allowed to chat, it would solve a lot of problems with cheating.

I think that in the battle list and in-game, the spectators should be listed.

I think that spectators should be able to join the battle if there is an open spot.

I think that spectators should only see one teams' stats at a time.

I think that there should be a limit on the number of spectators, for example, if there is a 4-player battle, the limit should be 1. 8 players should be 2. And so on....

 

Anyway, hope you guys like my ideas, I really hope this idea gets implemented!

This is a brilliant idea that just came into my head! Why not make a spectator mode for PRObattles in which you can turn on or off before you make the match. This way, you can control whether or not you want people watching your clan war, duel, et cetera. Also great for Tanki Online YouTube channels that don't have spectator mode; this could be an easy way to record excellent matches only for the price of 500 crystals (or in this case it might be free if they have a PRObattle pass).

 

So, I'll say it again: I would like PRObattles to have the option to have spectator mode on or off.

 

I don't really see why not.

Nice topic I made one too, but by seeing this I don't think tanki will ever let us have this mode :(

With this idea, any hacker or violator can make a battle and mod can't join with spectator mdoe to watch.I dissagree.This isn't good idea.What would be point of mods having spectator mdoe if almost no battle allows them to join it.Also I don't think spectators watch clan wars, etc. -_-
