New drugging mechanics

I had this idea of changing the way drugs work. Right now, whenever you press double damage or double armour, you temporarily become overpowered. This is bad.

 

My way would be so that instead of pressing a number for double damage, you can press the same number that loads a different type of shell in the chamber. For example, you're driving the thunder, you're doing normal damage. Suddenly, you press (insert number here) and the next shell that gets loaded into the chamber can do 50% more damage. Same with the next few shells. It would also have to vary for different turrets, like twins or firebird.

 

Instead of double armour, we can add an extra layer of armour that's 50% of the base health pool. This won't affect the amount of health that you currently have. For example, you've been shot at a fair amount and you only have 40% health left. Instead of double armor, you press a number which gives you an extra layer of armour which is 50% of the base health.

 

Instead of double speed, we can use a different type of fuel which makes you go faster for how long you drive. For example, you press the number and you go faster but your fuel drains. You stop, and your fuel stops draining. You start moving again and your fuel starts draining until you run out and return to normal speed. This different fuel can probably be 100% of the base speed since it was never gamebreaking.

What you propose, is that any drug will last a certain amount of USAGE, (instead of a certain amount of time).

That will make the drugs to last longer and thus make the game even more drugged.

That is, the opposite of what I want. So, sorry but no.

It will be more drugged, but the drugs will have less of an effect on gameplay. And even then, the devs can reduce the drug usage to make it less drugged if they wanted to.

Yes. this is a certain, devs don't want less drugs, they want more. For obvious reasons.

But I want less and I think it's to more people's best interest if TO would use less drugs.

It's like salt and pepper... (but ofcourse, for those that sell salt or pepper more sales are always better).
