Smart cooldowns is ok now, removing crystal boxes is insane and now you have just killed, buried and stomped my shaft, it cost me over 150k, its not worth the money anymore

tanki do that so you have to buy something else spend on upgrading it and then they do it again so you have to buy yet another spend more upgrading and then again and again so it goes on players get screwed

I tried night mode and agree.  What is even worse is that in the day maps the big target, "I'm here please shoot me" is still there.

Why not just remove shafts from the game if you hate them that much?  All you have done here is negate the effort people have put into upgrading their tanks.

 

Shaft used to be unstable so that you could not just pick a spot and shoot, it too skill and was easy to miss, especially fast opponents.  We are dead in close combat and just like "you" don't like being shafted because we can sniper you we don't like being destroyed close up where we have no chance of surviving unless our opponent is really poorly skilled.

I don't see anyone complaining about this, you just have to learn to play better, pick your spot, use mine, work as part of a team.  Likewise if you are getting snipered then learn to play better, spot where it is coming from, dive in zig zag, learn to count as our reload is pitifully slow, go in pair, we can only get one of you, find an alternative route to get to where you want,......  Because guess what, shafts are pretty good a t killing other shafts too.

 

Now you don't have to worry at all because shaft players will just quit.

 

If these changes remain I would happily swap my turret and hull for the same lvl of another turret and hull because this is just useless.  However removing the shaft from the game changes the game play element hugely, you will have a very different Tanki, and not a better one.

The Makers of the game should install a bubble around the flag post of the enemy so that when you are there no one on your team can push you out of the way from taking the flag, or a locking device so that it locks your tank onto the flag stand, and only when the player on the stand moves or takes the flag does the lock or bubble go away. This will promote more team effort to protect the person with the flag and limit foul play when going for the flag of the enemy.

So, again, ideas and comments to the devs, posting here.

 

Played last night, Barda, 2 one hour games.  Shaft, as always, and this is what transpired.

 

Take route in the dark, find hidey hole, oh, and I see beams every where, it's like a damn rave.  I decide to use good judgement and NOT optic up and just wait till I see movement in the distance and then start tracking my prey.  OH LOOK!  There one now!  Begin to zoom, wait for charge to complete, oh no, he saw the beam and ran in a different direction and hid.  Yeah.  Okay, off to a poor star . . . BOOM, I got shot (wonder of wonders right?).  Okay, spawn, pissed, down on it already before entering the game, and now more.  New spot.  Park, search, find, zoom, enemy hides before I can charge up, loose the shot anyways just to kill my beam.  Oh, damn, look, I could have picked that one off in the open BUT I HAD TO FIRE TO STOP MY LASER BEAM FROM SHOWING and now it's charging, 3 minutes of game play and one death and zero kills.  Okay, I don't like this, but I will finish this game.

 

So, what does any good Tanki Shaft do when it's in a dilemma, it finds ways to circumvent the HUGE weaknesses they have.  How to do that . . . .well, I can't ZOOM in on a spot and catch folks coming through there, I can't just linger and twist and turn the turret constantly looking for targets, all these things light me up like a Christmas tree.  Hmmm . . . oh, look, a wall . . . I wonder, if I zoom in and look left or right of the wall, just leaving the laser there, I can still see enemies zoomed in, but they don't see the laser across the expanse.  Yep, sounds like a plan.  Fast forward twenty minutes later and I racked up some serious "killage", the no bounce barrel was sublime.  Alas, frenzied anti-shafters were enraged and completely out of their minds at how this shaft could have POSSIBLY taken back the advantage, so I was hunted down the rest of the game, and note, the beam doesn't go far against the wall, but yeah, it lights up, I was screwed.

 

That little story of course is made to make a point, it's all true, but even with the "trick", it was to no avail, once people got wise to it, it was over, and I really had a VERY hard time doing it, on one particlar map, and Rio and places like that will likely NOT allow for that game play.

 

So I say this.  Shafts got the shaft, and this will ruin shaft play.  What I want to know, and I'd like to hear a long and serious answer to this, and explaination of how devs came to the conclusion that this was a problem and needed to be changed?

 

How is it that a shaft player who is semi consistently never captures the flag and has sometimes 0 deaths and 30+kills and ranked in his battles at 3 to 5 place a threat to game play.  I make sure some other snub nosed team member CAN GET the flag, or I stop the other team from taking ours.  I'm sorry if the Rico had to drive out of it's way to find me and shoot me in order to take my flag and make points, I know that's very annoying and detracts from the deep and complex game play of rush, capture, run away.  Since when have shafts been so dominant that entire map is nothing but a killing field for snipers?  Brest might be the only example where shafts can MAYBE take the upper hand, and even then, it's shaft on shaft half the time, and two shafts lost on one side means the dynamic has changed and in the time it takes to spawn and get back into position, the enemy team is on your side of the map creating havoc.  Again, I want to hear about the numbers, the complaints, the investigation and the result of that which made the devs give legitimacy to this decision and make them go through with it.  It's a game everyone, and I know, the same could be said of myself, but the unit was there, I adopted, I upgraded, I practiced the tactics for THAT unit, it's my style of play, otherwise I might not even be playing Tanki.  Again, someone, talk to us, and not one line platitudes, just a serious reasoning and explaination regarding this decision.

I missd this post prior to my last one.  I find an excellent point here and one I hope is simply not true.  This game has a purity to it, and a following.  It's combat, it's skill, it's talent, it's thinking, it's many things, you start to detract from that dynamic by tearing down peoples efforts and time spent for shenanigans like pushing players into situations that require them to spend money simply to keep playing well, and it becomes a farce.  There is no reason to do this for thew sake of money.  Shaft players are snipers, and they will always be snipers.  Call of Duty, TC'S Rainbow Six, any shooter game, you have people that gravitate to one shot, one kill, and if you send them packing, they generally won't adopt something else, they'll just stop playing.

 

I can't say for certain that this idea of yours is right, but if it were true, it would be a great shame and really petty.

I kind of like the new update to the crystal system, but I don't really like how you guys took away the boxes of crystals away completely. Other than that I like the rest of the updates. I for sure like the changes made to the shaft with the laser sight except for the fact that if you are hiding in a very good spot sniping, but people can see where you are from the laser sight. Other than that it is awesome.  :)

So many time people run away in the middle of battle.So i have solution for that,every tanker from both team will pay 100 crystals as deposit (while entering the battle) & when the match will  end then give battle fund including their deposit  of 100 crystals.I hope every1 agree this. B)

KingJack21's idea is good, but only if the game had a pre-game time, like there would be a spare time before the real battle begins when the players of both teams would wait for more players and when they think its done they would say they are ready, then the battle begins.

Yeah it's possible by /callvote commands,both teams have full rights to stop/start battle when less/more players on 1 team.Check t his link in past i tried to say that.http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=214823&p=3994531

 

This callvote is major facility on Quakelive.com & thats the reason it's still popular .

i dont like middle maps be couse if i go that map everybody left be couse im best. so i like big maps ... and noise couse so many players in that map and they dont left be couse they believe teamwork . and im finnish people if you dont understand my english words but try understand me XD

i like this improvment very much b'cz of this the more a player play the game the more he earn...

i want this feature in the game from the core of my heart...

you should have m4 and m5's

you should be able to send crystals

you should name the new turret massive death

you should make new make a flag paint for the united states of america ,Russia , and others

you should make parkour no kill maps

you should make vlogs more often

you should make more ways to rank up

you should be able to change your name without paying 100 000 crystals

you should make a pure gold paint with good protection

make a new hull named hornet #2

make us be able to decorate the garage

make us able to have an icon in front of our name

make us able to send people xp

i think that auto turrets could be used. it would be a supplies item and you would lay it like a mine the gun would be much weaker than a hull turret but it would stay where you dropped it and would attack any enemies that came close enough to it and was in its line of sight. i was thinking that you would have to buy it like a mine dropping it from supplies would not work supplies dropped are instantly used and you would want to wait to deploy it so you have the greatest tactical advantage and if it did drop from supplies it would become to common imagian mines every where( it would suck and people would come to hate it. i was thinking that it could be destroyed like a tank but would have extremely low health. i was also thinking that it would have a time limit like this: you set it down and five minutes after you set it down it runs out of power and self destructs
