Cross battle modes

Recommended Posts

I have come up with an idea for cross battle modes, eg. CTF + DM = CTFDM

This idea will add 9 new battle modes for us to play here it goes

1. The new mode, OD (overdrive)

OD is basically the Everyman for themself version of CP but here's how it works

When the game starts one player has a green flag, they have to hold on to it for as long as possible and will gain points over time, the other players need to steal it off him and get there own points, if you have ever played kill of the hill it is like that just being onto of the hill is having the flag. (Note if a player without the flag tries to kill another player without the flag no damage is done, I will explain why later.

2. CTF+DM=CTFDM

It's simple, normal CTF just with a destroy counter and 1 flag = 10 destroys

3. CP+CTF=CPTF

This one is a little harder to understand but it is basically both teams have a Control point and they need to capture the other teams control point, then they get points but if they capture each others they swap sides...

4. CTF+OD=CTFOD

This one is harder, think of it like this, a soccer game where the goals are a red and blue flag (one for each team) and the ball is the green flag, each team is trying to get the green flag to there teams flag

(Note is the red team. Tried to steal the blue flag it wouldn't work and vice versa)

5. CP+DM=CPDM

It's just CP but with a destroy counter, 1 point= 1 destroy

6. OD+DM=ODM

It's just OD but you know how I said in OD 2 normals players didn't take damage from each other? Well it is because in this mode they do and it goes on record, but that is really the only difference.

7. Triples, OD+DM+CTF=ODMTF

It's just No. 4 CTFOD but with DM added like in No. 6 ODM but it is about flags so there is no need for the thing about No. 6

8. CP+CTF+DM

Put it this way, CPTF (No.3) but with DM, work the rest out yourself.

Like it?

I knew you'd say that let's discuss this:

1 flag = 10 destroys is incorrect

1 flag= 10 points per person on other team at time of capture
