Yeah, but it's not feasible to use a double armor each time a hammer uses a DD unless you're a buyer. Thunder is an effective turret to use against hammer. You simply have to stay out of it's effective range and keep on shooting at it.

Hammers effective range is ...extremely... unbelievable :/

There were some times I shotted someone for away and he... meh... died :/

 

Ive killed you some times too i think :p

Oh yes it is. A DD hammer sitting in/cruising around one of your spawning areas, 1 shotting every light/med tank and 2 shotting every heavy tank when they appear is something to be taken out ASAP. If you have a heavy tank , and are playing many of the game types and maps, you will want to "waste" :rolleyes: a DA , to get rid of a DD hammer , shooting up the countryside and your side at leisure B) .  A shield/DA well wasted if it saves 3-4-5-6 of your sides' tanks, especially in TDM.

 

And note a Hammer can shoot about 50m(10spaces) "effectively", which is enough to cover most of 1/2 of the maps (100m), if the hammer is not hanging out near an edge.

 

Now sure if a DD hammer is out in the middle of the map or on the other side more than 50m, or engaging another tank, it would be cheaper to just shoot them with whatever. I am only noting a tactic for dealing with DD hammers close in or closing in to yourself, because I know what those Hammers are doing/intend to do.

 

Also note this (pop a sheild) only works for heavy tanks and heavy tank users. We tend to not like getting killed by 2 shots of anything close by, especially some Dinky DD Hammer tank.

paints dont save you from Impact loak... and did you do all the 3 steps of its impact? :/

Im just doing 1 as other 2 are expensive...

I could do the second step and have about 90-100k left (would only cost 16k for me :))

Expensive hammer paints won't save you from Hammer with MUed impact (like mine. > :))

On the other hand, a Mammoth with MUed weight will.

Loving my Hammer M1 :wub:

I am thinking , I need to pull mine out the shop. I have a M1 hammer/Hunter combo, that I have yet to use. And tons of DD's <_<

I have mued my M3 Hammers damage and impact force and reload time to its max potential, but i am not happy with the reload time, when you have 3 shots to fire, yes it does reload to the next shot in 1.6 seconds, which is great, so i thought after you shot the 3 shots, it would reload all 3 shots faster also, this is not true, it takes almost 6 seconds to reload all 3 shots, which is way to long, when you have something constantly firing at you, so i am wondering how can i get word of this to the devs to take a look at this problem?

if u had fully mued reload, it would be 4secs+ only, for all 3 shots to load

@ShadowDemon13: If it could reload all three shots faster, I reckon it'll get its damage decreased, firing rate decreased, or both.

Thing is, if you're firing 115 damage per shot at 1.6 seconds, AND taking only a 4 second reload, that'd be way too strong. . . combined with the strongest impact force in-game. :P

@Samlauncher: Damage and reload are first priority. Then comes impact force and range.

Impact force and range's priority are interchangeable depending on each weapon.

 

In Hammer's case, both are good. . depends on your playstyle.

And wut If you cant/dont want to waste your DAs on those nub hammers? :/

Da is the only thing I have over 1k and Im not planning to waste it on those nubs(even if they can 1 shot my hunter with DP :/ )

IM gonna buy rhino for that issue, hopeit helps as tundra helped me against railers :)

Yes, you've explained.

Buy medium hull and paint, and use something longer range :)

i know, but for his impact and rotation and range, 0!!!, not even 1 or 2 steps which would help
