The RU6 test server was (probably still is) open today, apparently for testing the newest iteration of the mouse controls. I got myself a M4 Hammer, Prodigi, and a M4 Hunter. This is the result of my first match- note that I have close to no experience with Hammer. The only time I've used it before was during the first open testing- haven't used it since.

 

I also caught a gold box with it (http://i.imgur.com/ORpxyut.jpg). There was a big moshpit on the Blue Team ramp (near the buildings), and I charged in with Nitro at the last second. I fired a shot (which killed someone, but not intentionally), which raised my hull enough to climb up a Viking and get the box.

 

Not bad for someone with barely any experience with Hammer. I like it, but I'm more than satisfied with my current equipment.

I can use Hammer effectively without Double Damage, but for many under-armored railguns with Hornets, the drug-3 is a one-shot kill -- I killed 6 in a row before they killed my Viking.

Depressingly, the other players on the team were either

1) not playing

2) blissfully unaware that I brought the enemy flag within feet of them, and nobody took it!

I have gotten to the point that when I see stupidity or clueless behavior, I just leave the team.

I'm not going to exert myself to give them a (winning) crystal multiplier while they just tally kills.

It is supposed to be a team effort, and some players just ignore sound strategy and team play.

I have another complaint about Hammer. I already mentioned before it sometimes uses to hit the clouds for no reason bu now i also noticed half of it's pellets hitting the  ground in front of the tank they were supposed to hit, that happening without hull inclination caused by me moving forward or backward or being hit by other tanks. It seems to happen randomly but with some frequency as if there was some hidden "critical chance".

I don't need to point out to the other Hammer users how much problem this causes to me when i need to place perfectly 3 shoots against enemy vikings that are approaching me, especially Isidas.

Some time has passed since i first addressed this problem on the forum but since then nothing changed, however i am still positive about the Tanki developers resolving this problem but i won't hide that i will be seriously disappointed if Hammer doesn't get back at least a bit of its old precision.

Taking a terrible time to load, I arrived 5 minutes into a 15 minute Rio battle, and still had Hammer 2+ from a Polygon battle yesterday. The Reds were losing (Red 1, Blue 3) and their flag had been taken. I killed 1 tank and was about to kill another when *someone* pulled the old illegal replay the last 5 seconds hack to keep me from killing them. When I was killed, I said "that's *ss" and proceeded to circle right and totally decimate the enemy camp, returning the flag and killing all but one enemy tank (who had quickly switched to a flame thrower).

The Red team, realizing their extreme good fortune, pressed home their attacks and the final score was Red 10, Blue 4.

The moral here is "don't poke the bear." I was only going there to practice defending the Red flag, after I was eaten alive by Generals and Marshals on my last time at Server EN1.

Dunno about M3s but M2 mediums die with 3 shots of M2 hammer with no protection

Where that more speed of hunter belps ;)

 

And as of M1, hunter is both faster and has both protection than viking

u cant kill dictator m2 in 3 shots if they have a few mus in protection, viking m2 as well if its well mued even at point blank, even if your hammer has a few mus

Em, yeah, few days back I saw a full MUd dictator who died by four shots

Even tho my hammer has some MUs to back it .-.
