The topics are so inactive without me,i would be active like in old days,but i gotta play on my high account xD

Hammer in CP with double power is a serial killer,try it :ph34r:

Hammer is an amazing turret. (Like every single one expect for maybe Freeze.)

I like it, I want Pitbull kit

You probably get this a lot but why that nick?

 

I've been playing with my Hammer since the MU sale. Still like it.

Better then to waste time posting mundane stuff on random topics :P

but is pretty tiring to post at all this topics xD

even if i write and think quick,will take like 30 minutes to write in all,much xD

i not bother anyway,i am supreme leader at replies still for every gun/hull topic xD

even after months of inactivity here xD

and again,hammer on double power is a serial killer xD

Hey guys!I cant decide between hammer and railgun (m3).Any suggestions?I like them both,but I can upgade only one of them...N.B  I need a solid turret which will be able to make me some cry for the next rank (also,please take a look at my garage)

that's a tough decision... In MY opinion, I think hammer would be a little better at earning cry. it can 2 shot light hulls without drugs and with drugs... well... its a beast!

I have to agree. I'm not a huge Hammer fan but it is less frustrating than rail. This is also a classic question of what maps you play, since these two are different range guns.

I find it weird that on some days, Hammer would be totally unplayable for me, but on other days I get on the top 3 places in Gismo Polygon DMs.

Maybe the turrets you're up against? Whether they were drugging? Whether you ate your Wheaties?

Is the Jackhammer Kit good? Would you recommend it?

Having bought it at Brigadier and used it until I ranked to Marshal, I would say it is okay. 'Good' might be a stretch. Viking M3 is a great must-have - enough said. Hammer M3 is good for a few ranks but requires a unique play style which may be hard to get used to - eventually you will need to heavily MU or abandon this turret. People steal your kills a lot - you fire twice, and then someone else kills your enemy while you reload for shot three. Finally there is the Tiger paint. While visually stunning, this paint only protects decently against Smoky and other Hammers. That's right no Rail, Thunder, Twins, Firebird, or Isida protection to speak of. Tiger mostly collects dust in my garage.

 

If I had to do it all over, I would opt for Medic kit at Brigadier. M3 Isida is much better than Hammer.

I don't have Hammer and Wasp on the same accounts. I enjoy my FireWasp but I think Wasp needs a boost in either armor or power. Just being speedy isn't enough in this game. Wasp trades high speed for low armor, which is okay, but also low power which is not. Low power means low acceleration, meaning Wasp takes a long time to reach its top speed. Hornets superior power mean that over short distances Hornet can keep pace with Wasp. Not good.

the hammer should have more time to recharge that the thunder.

1- the hammer is entitled to 3 shots without reloading, after reload time is very small relative to the thunder.

2 hammer causes more damage than thunder. is that right arrives also less far than thunder, but thunder near to cause damage to the owner himself and the hammer can hit in many around if you are not very close to the targets.

 

my view and that of many is that the hammer and vulcan entered the game to spoil what was already to be perfect.

Now I ask. the reason to create 2 more new weapons that are extremely different from those that exist in the game and extremely powerful for what exists protection in the game.

I believe that some have given up playing for two logical reasons!

 

1- micro-upgrades were very good (perfect) and were totally change the way micro-upgrades works (making perfect for default) spoiled the whole logic of evolving weapons and tanks.

the player wants to first evolve the protection everything was perfect, now the player wants to develop protection and can not because you get is nothing more than 0.01 or 0.1. and the price on top tripled or quadrupled the cost of each update and not 1.0 gives to evolve.

2- the 2 new weapons that unbalances the game was heading for perfection!

High chance that both will be nerfed somewhere in the nearby future. These turrets were made OP to boost sales.

 

And about the micro-upgrades? I very much preferred the old system too, this is again done imo to boost sales.

Well, Hammer is a pretty powerful turret at close range and deals a lot of knockback, so I think it is pretty good on maps such as Gravity (to use the knockback to your advantage and push enemies off the edge), and also:

Hammer (yes, even M0) + Double Damage = 1 hit instant kill!

Very true but maps like Gravity are no longer played at high rank. Noise is the map of choice for multi level play, but there is too much open space for Hammer to win out over turrets like Thunder and Vulcan.

 

Actually this is only mostly true. With A good team at your back Hammer can still camp at the top of the ramps in Noise and do well. You just have to make sure the other ramps are also guarded or you will get knifed in the back.
