I invested big crystals to buy "IN LOVE" which I hate the looks of, and which can be seen from all over the battlefield, Plus upgrades, and now most of the short range turrets that Paint protects me from are replaced with Hammer. I just left another battle mid-game.

It feels like a down-graded version of Thunder. Since both Hammer and Thunder can deal damage to multiple targets, Thunder does it more consistently and predictably with it's shots while Hammer's shots are pellets which is random. Thunder has twice the range than Hammer (That's obvious because Hammer is a shotgun and has a significant penalty in range). Reload speed is comparable with Railgun or slightly slower than Railgun and significantly slower than Thunder (Again, if you compare Hammer to a real life shotgun, a real life shotgun needs to be reloaded shell by shell). Shots between each round is slow-medium speed. But it's enough to finish off a wounded opponent or dealing enough damage for you're teammates to deal the killing blow. Rotation speed is good. Just enough to face off Freeze if you encounter them but it is really important to place your shots where they need to be. Everything about Hammer, it's stats, it just feels like Thunder's little brother. Less powerful and doesn't have that feel of dominance when using it compare when you're using Thunder.

 

Overall, it's a nice addition to the game and give a new play style to it. Though only a short period of time, players will lean towards Thunder more in the near future.

Hammer's main advantage is that it deals huge damage quickly at close range. However, I don't think it's a big enough advantage to compensate for Hammer's uselessness at longer ranges.

İt should fire when half-reloaded, as same as ricochet.

But i think, this gun is very good for high ranks. By the way, bad for low ranks. İt is not a good starter.

@katyitiz: i think it is a good starter if you plan to to use Rail as a main. You're far more vulnerable when reloading, which is the main con of Railgun.

As some of you might think " Oh , Hammer and Thunder are the Same Thing , So what's the Point of Hammer? " Well Hammer and Thunder are actually totally different.. 1. Thunder doesn't have a Spread Shot... It's One Bullet that Spreads Shrapnel which makes the Gun a "Area Effect"

2. With Hammer it's a Spread Shot , and does not inflict damage upon the same Tank. So Hammer and Thunder are like Shotgun and Mortar .

 

btw , Great Update Tanki .. Hammer is Awesome.. ( Can't wait to get m1 on Christmas Sale )

^stuck on hammer m2 or thunder m2. if i get both gg m2 firebird

If you can't decide on getting either m2 hammer or m2 thunder .. It would depend if you go in Long Range Battles or Short Range Battles more Often. Then you would go with Thunder for Long Distance and Hammer for Short Distance
