Well well well here's a fun fact for any of you tanki lovers and history fanatics. The Ricochet, which came out a few months after TO first started was supposed to be called the Vulcan. Well, due to the "tennis ball's" ability to bounce off walls and such, I guess TO decided to change the name from Vulcan to Ricochet. All the information can be found in this very old forum page started way back in 2010.

Name is really misleading on this turret admit it, look at the 25th post, we don't really correlate the word "Vulcan" with shotguns.

They should name the shotgun "Enforcer" and the machine gun obviously "Vulcan"

I wanted the shotgun to be named "Boomstick". "Vulcan" only belongs on things with MOAR DAKKA (lol irony. I actually wanted to suggest "moar dakka" to be a shotgun-like turret)

Hmmm let's me see what Ricochet does.

-Shoots projectiles that can be dodged

-projectiles bounce off walls and other surfaces

-has a 9-round clip

-n00b wep

 

Vulcan:

-shoots several pellets instantaneously

-pellets spread out hitting multiple enemies

-makes bullet holes in walls

-3 round clip with significantly faster reload time then ricochet

 

At least put up some evidence. Don't even say "It looks like ricochet", the staff say several times that the appearance is not final.

I think this turret will be a really good one. It seems like a very useful turret in battle but there may be some faults or complainants with the short range and reload time. In my opinion, I can't wait for this turret to come out and I will definitely be trying it out!

This is true face it !! It almost Tanki is creating effortless concepts but people are just going on about how awesome it sounds but people never look at the cons of things. Example you

olook it shoots 15 pellets 2.5 dmg each rounded down and it spreads laterally along 60meters at a 50 degree spread. Man that's OP.
