Okay, Hammer isn't OP, but it's just rather common.

 

No dude, Hammer is really like a hammer. Too OP. It needs either a nurf or an increase in reload time. Preferably the first, but I can settle for the second either.

Nah, anything with double armor pulverises my Hammer-Viking because of the clip reload. Meanwhile, long-rangers are sniping me and the regular close-rangers are tearing me apart with fire, ice, nanobots...what have you. So Hammer isn't OP, it's just great for certain situations. Also, the other close-rangers have a secondary ability like burn damage and freezing or heal or whatever. So Hammer's special ability could be considered its impact force.

well,thunder got boosted impressive

Sure, but it loses if the tank can't stand 3 * 115 because it has slow reload (compared with 3 shots of one Hammer clip).

I wouldn't except from me to say that, but I want to say.

 

This gun shouldn't have been added to the game because It gives nothing special to the game or improve the gameplay.

 

Shaft is a sniper gun and force everyone to hide and move with checking evrionment.

 

Railgun does it also a bit, and railgun is the mosr preferred "hit-and-run" gun. Even there are tournaments which can be played just by railgunners.

 

Thunder has splash damage and great range, also self-damage. This force players to avoid from edges, and also run to the thunder.

 

Smoky has critical damage, which changes the situation suddenly.

 

Ricochet can bounce,so can use walls. Which force the enemy to think about walls.

 

Twins has unlimited fire ability, so it attacks continuously. This manages the area, and also force "clip" players to run away.

 

Isida is only one healer turret.

 

Firebird has a "poison" skill. Also he damages all the area which he shoots.

 

Freeze slows down the enemy.

 

Vulcan is a great area dominator gun and added a new improve camping. Also, can hardly be knockbacked.

 

This list is actually a lot longer, but it is okay...

 

 

 

Really, what did change after hammer? Someone annoyed and someone liked it. But did it added something new to gameplay, like vulcan?

What would the game lose If we would lose hammer? 

And think this: what would the game lose if we lose railgun, firebird or ricochet?

 

 

A week without any shaft taugh me the importance and value of shaft.

This last re-balance taugh me the importance of freeze and vulcan, also.

Also, this last re-balance taugh me the effect of thunder.

 

 

But hammer? Hammer just evoked about how annoying the drugging is, which I was already avoke. It didn't added something new as a tactic. Just some combinations of old ones...

 

 

Edit: I wanted to write this because I lost a game against a hammer. However, this ideas are though about a month ago, just I hadn't write until now.

I got a hammer. Hammer fires way too slow to be OP, and then the 3 shot reload takes it out the picture for a long time.

 

Maybe if you drive a WASP, hammer might seem OP, other than that, I would look at how you play , rather than how hammer plays.

I expected more from splitterpoint tbh .-.

It brought quite possibly the most important thing in the game: The playerbase is UP and they know it.

GO buy M3 hammer and then check the Reloading speed.

I prefer My thunder to My hammer, Even tho I thought Im abandoning My Thunder after the rebalance,

I wont even be buying M3 hammer,

I got a Hammer M3 on my alt.account because I already own a Thunder M4 on this one.

Two Thunders is a bit of overkill and though Viking/Thunder is a solid combo and very effective:

I enjoy playing with a fast Hornet/Thunder a lot more.

 

Don 't regret getting Hammer, but maybe I should have just continued with the Smoky M2.

Still I wanted a M3 and I really don 't like Isida or Freeze on a slow Viking.

Let alone that scopy montrosity... :D

 

Well, only going to use Viking/Hammer for two ranks and than it will be mostly gathering dust in the garage.

At Marshal I will return to my beloved Smoky.

What this gun may lack in power compared to the Hammer it easily compensates in playing fun!

 

Hammer does a good job in for example a Polygon CP and is at least enjoyable in this kind of

short to medium ranged melee gameplay (in it 's current OP state)

In most other battle scenarios it is IMO boring (mostly because of the reload) and not even effective.

Man, buyers with that kit have m4 Hammer nowadays (MU sale) a few MU isn't going to beat m4s...

 

How do i know? Unupgraded hammer m3 doesn't have enough firepower to destroy my m2 titan in a clip, kit buyers hammers do.

No, a normal m3 hammer does 92x3 damage<300+ hp of heavies, those you fought are mu'd too

If you feel strongly, you could get an ex-or-cist. I am frankly amazed that Hammer DD can kill so many, and that Hammer fully upgraded can be a b*tch to kill.

3 rounds > 3 kills... ohh wait for a bit 3 rounds > 3 kills.

And they can move mountains with that impact force.

 

This thing is Smoky, Rail and Thunder combined.

And who on earth had the idea to implent that Jackhammer kit in the game?

I like hammer personally, it's a little difference from what thunder was when its max damage range was somewhat like 20m and had huge damage... I liked that Thunder :P

 

Luckily that tiger paint doesn't come with thunder protection so in some cases they can be defeated...
