I personally feel that hammer is too over powered. I know a lot of people disagee but Im gonna list the pros and cons here.

 

Pros:

1. High Damage, all 3 shots is more than shaft

2. Large Cone, which can hit enemies in different areas

 

Cons:

1. Slow Reload

2. Large Cone = Less damage per shot

 

I think that the Range is a little too long because at first they said this was used for close combat but now if you look on the paint Africa, it says that Hammer is the deadly midrange turret. Even though it has slow reload, you can just simply kill the enemy and then you reload without being harmed much.

^ I agree, Rico is current OP turret.

Bought Hammer M1 for my alt last sale, I can compare it to Thunder M1, and.... meh.

I tried to compare both in several battles, changing turrets mid-batlle. Thunder was better in every situation, DM, CTF, CP, TDM - better range+AoE damage (that is not split between opponents)+possibility of indirect damage and not that much slower reload made Thunder twice as effective as Hammer every time.

 

Of course there is remote possibility that Thunder is also OP... :rolleyes:

lol...they screwed up rico so it is not as good as it was (of course the hulls are so light that when you fart you roll over).  

 

The disadvantage with thunder occurs when your opponent is very close and you take splash damage.  If a thunder is shooting at me and I am close enough I will get right beside it.

It's still very powerful but now it's got such a huge range. I am getting tired of all these changes in that game. It's all about sales and not about the game it self.

I think he means hammer.

I too notice that hammer destroys me at longer range than before.

It's a new gun so I guess they beef it up.

The proof? In every CTF battle they play, they are protagons. Top score + most flags.

And if drugging, then a real typhoon! :unsure:

In TDM the same, more or less.

In CP as well, one of the worse enemies...

In DM I have no clue, I never play DM.

im using it lately... very useful for golds becuz of the knockback

 

i lov when u play Stadium DM, full of rails and the knockback is perfect against rails :P

oh yh, and very nice for parkour

Neither did I^

Hammer got a huge nerf before, and is not as powerful as before. And I also believe it's quite balanced on it's current state.

tat hammer reload is annoying but needed

In DM I have no clue, I never play DM.

I didn't notice much about who gets the highest on CTF, generally who use more drug gets.

However:

In TDM, Hammer is not a leader gun, as has no speciality for team battles, except being a short range railgun.

In CP, one-point CP has better choices to play

In DM, It is a great gun, if your opponents are not heavy tanks.

Like shaft, it loses some of its effect with opponent hulls.

 

But I don't like hammer, another topic.

Could you guys make the damage and range 1.6 more on Hammer? You could also make Hammer a fair bit more, like 100 crystals more for doing that, so about 1,100 crystals for those who have not yet bought Hammer. But thank you guys for all this support and making this FABULOUS game. You should advertise it, it is so darn well made. Thank you! :)

In my opinion Hammer just isn't quite the same ever since they greatly reduced the effect of impact force, so that it's now almost impossible to flip any tank. I took a Hammer M3 to the side of a Wasp and it hardly budged. I can only imagine how Railgunners feel.. :(

Like that is important. Impact force of Hammer can still easily be used to deflect shots.

 

Hammer shoots Wasp and Hornets with ease. Without Hammer paint one shot victims.

And believe me I know: way too often to my taste I am that one shot victim... :mellow:

Railgunners feel cheated.Rail's impact force is even lower than its impact force prior to the time Tanki introduced the ability to shoot an enemy's turret.
