Sp, I have no idea what you mean by shrekt. It does not exist in the dictionary. I wrote it in Google, hoping it would correct its spelling, but that did not work either. Anyway, it is a humbling experience for Hammer, just like meeting someone with fully upgraded Rock or Lumberjack for me. :)

All those characteristics, in other words, that make it a devastating weapon in the hands of top buyers. Thus, a bully's choice. No, it's not good. No weapon that humiliates is good. Skill is to be admired, not raw power.

Humiliation is super damage plus super shock (impact), the physical analog of pushing someone really hard. That's why it's a bullying weapon. Shaft can oneshot you as well, railgun as well. Even Thunder on DD can do it. But each one of them takes more skill and it' just kills you, it doesn't push you at the same time.

Hammer doesn't take skill. Just point at the opponent and shoot. Even a jackass can do this. That's why it's a noob's choice as well.

Since the Jackhammer outburst, Hammers are slowly going extinct. I assume they know that if they take Hammer about half the map will have tiger ready. It is still OP though, kills my viking in 3 hits.

Tried using hammer on Hornet instead of Viking for a change. Very, very different but fun playstyle; it plays like XP in terms of versatility, and you'll have three shots to deflect enemy fire from most combos (Titans worked for me at least, on ~37 impact). It's pretty easy to juggle people around with it, but the constant drifting and high recoil might require a bit of mastery to survive longer in more densely populated maps. Also, you can run away if you can't deal with a particular tank or to reload, unlike medium hulls.

 

Overall, I'd recommend it whenever you don't need to put on a medium hull. (8.75/10)

Wat would hammer be without high damage and impact? A faild smoky? The impact is used to make your opponent miss the high damage yea hammer is a shotgun it have to have high damage Edited July 30, 2015 by Hammerdude1

Personally, the only turret that really annoys me is hammer. Everyone that uses it will usually use double power 24/7  and you are not going to survive double power hammer. One hornet's health is getting taken away from you by only one shot and hammer can use three at a time. Hammer's 3 shots does more damage than the shaft of its upgrade and with double power, you are NEVER gonna win. Hornets and Wasps(besides viking) are the most popular hulls in the game so people can just use hammer with double power and get all the kills and they can become good at the game without having actual skill. I personally think that Hammer shouldn't be able to use double power. 

 

Also if you play on maps like Monte Carlo, there are always noobs that use hammer on your team that will try using Hammer's impact force to push you off and make you self destruct.

The only reason why you don't see it much is because you are playing with high ranked people with m3 turrets so no one wants to buy another m0 turret and waste their money. Hammers and Vulcans aren't popular at your rank because it will be useless and you have to make it m3 to get your money's worth.

Im only talking about high ranked, cause they can get jackhammer. They have been in long enough to be in many peoples garages though

You know, hammer and Vulcan came to force people who are using light hulls to use medium or heavy hulls. Light hulls are getting killed too easy from these turrets and both of them can't go with wasp or hornet, so you will have to use a heavy/medium hull to use them or not get killed by them.

I like using light hulls. No one can make me prefer a heavy hull, it's just not my kind of thing.

So, pushing me away from light hulls, is pushing me out of the game. Simple as that.

No one can make you use a heavy or medium hull, its your choice what equipment you will use. They just did that to reduce the number of light hulls because they are way too popular.
