Night Mode for maps and Shaft’s laser scope

FAIL

The whole point of SNIPING is to not be seen.  You've just completely stripped that away with this update.  Probably the most ******ed turret update since I began playing in March 2014.

If you want to give a "hint" to make things "fair", then show an illuminated dot on the target's hull or on objects nearby. At most perhaps show a tiny red dot on the sniper. But to show a laser from point A to point B is idiotic. Tanki developers needs to rethink this one.  Absolutely stupid!

For the naysayers I add...shaft is already purposely disadvantaged in close quarter combat. The turret turns relatively slowly, arcade damage is significantly lower, and reload time is fairly long for sniping.  There was absolutely no need whatsoever to further handicap the turret with this update.  Experienced players know how to deal with snipers.

This is what happens when you let young developers who have ZERO actual military experience make unrealistic tactical changes to a game that is based on....wait for it....military weaponry and tactics. My guess is they thought the laser was "cool". Thankfully they do not design actual military equipment.

What's the next update?  Perhaps we can have an avatar that pops up with helpful hints such as: "shhhhh the enemy is hiding right around the next corner on the left...it's a thunder/mammy/prodigi combo...you might want to switch to your rico with needle paint. Proceed with caution".

Just give me back the shake (which was never an issue for me), and get rid of the stupid laser.

WIN

On the other hand, I have been waiting for a night mode to finally be released. I haven't tried it yet but I am sure it's fantastic.  The next thing on my wish list is weather conditions such as rain/snow/thunder. Night mode is a huge win.

Tanki developers...you got this one half right. Obviously noobs who hate snipers are going to love the dead giveaway (might as well hold their hands and help them drive their tanks while you're at it) ....but any player with experience knows where to look for snipers and doesn't need a laser beam "hint".

Just like i figured, they ask us if we like it, and whether we did or not they still put it in the game, laser on the shaft, what a moronic idea that is, its bad enough dealing with all the no skill druggers in this game, so lets just show them were the snipers are, thats a great idea, lets make the game even worse than we already have, good job tanki!

And why the heck do we have to have the laser in a day mode map, what a crock!

This update completely ruins the shaft from a tactical standpoint.

The beam across the whole map essentially gives everyone a crystal clear target to shoot at.The whole point of having a long range gun is to hide and shoot from cover.

To those complaining about the shaft hitting them unexpectedly, perhaps you shouldn't just drive willy nilly through wide open spaces and leave yourself open to attack.

You can see the direction the shaft is hitting from if you watch it hit another tank. Easy way to find the sniper and kill them either with another shaft or with a short range gun. That's how to beat them. And it takes skill. Just like sniping.

The shaft already has plenty of disadvantages:

slow reload time

slow turn speed

low power hits in arcade mode

high recoil

shake in sniper mode (which should be kept because it forces the player using it to have skill)

It was mentioned earlier that they could change the laser to a dot on the target. I think this sounds like a much better idea.

whats the use of having a sniper tank if you can see it. if you going to keep the laser let us paint just the  target  we going to kill not see the laser across the arena .. and put shaft orignal power back before the  updates  of you lowering shaft power by 5% by  holding the load button to build up shot you making shaft weaker and weaker by taking more from it

Not fair for shafts

- Every weapon has  its strengths and weaknesses. Shaft's only strength is its one shot kill but even Railgun does that and Thunder also

- Shafts are very slow to reload and no match in one on one combat.

- No shaft remain hidden forever, one two shots and they are found.

- Freezes are most frustrating weapon because it render.s the enemy defenseless. But I still like it for its uniqueness

As a shaft user, i am not happy with this update and might switch to other weapon now.

About the new features of the game - guys you have removed the possibility to make 2 conditions for victory.

So now if some 1 makes 30 mins CTF battle - and the other team leaves after 10 mins, what does he supposed to do? wait 20 mins to get his crystals?

Why not bring back the ability to make flag+time limit?
