Tanki i think you don't need our feedbacks aka suggestion if we don't want a update you implement it , rather you make us the **** out wait. You know i think your line "we will analyze the data" not to mention seymon. Its real. Its my feedback. Actually you all get a line from a novel and say we would make this game better but your update means new young devs are stupidity and i wonder who the hell decided to give the hella runet award as its not a insult cuz you mods would ban me and or edit this.

Brilliant update!

Been playing a bit on a lower alt. account with Wasp M1/Smoky M1 and allthough I still got killed by Shafts it happens

a lot less now because you get warned a lot more because of those laser scopes.

It gives especially light hulls a better chance on surviving which would otherwise mean many certain deaths:

and another easy kill by some camping Shaft. Who often doesn 't really have more skill than knowing how to "crosshair".

Gameplay now gets improved for non-Shaft users and if you enter a Map in which you see plenty of

those disco-lights you can quickly decide to leave it to the Shafts themselves.

Interesting gameplay: camping Shafts against camping Shafts... :P

And in fact Shaft can still be awesome! You got the stable scope now so you don 't have to be scoping longer than needed.

Just a quick charge and fire.

Ok, so now you are being spotted, well hello: you 've got the most damaging weapon that exists in Tanki Online.

Capable of one-shotting almost everything if using DP.

Well, now you just got to move a bit more to the side in those shrubs for example if you want to remain that camping Shafter.

Otherwise learn some proper skills and get yourself a Hornet or medium hull and try to move sometimes between

shots. Real snipers don 't also stay on the same spot during a battle, especially nowadays.

Probably a hiding sniper in that tower? Just send a laser-guided (...laser...) missile towards him.

So real snipers move...

And if the Shaft became nerfed too far (did it even get nerfed?) than I will be the first to applaud additional

measures to improve it again.

Not by removing that laser oh no, but for example a stronger arcade shot and/or a faster rotating turret.

One of my favourite weapons is the Thunder. It still is, but it went to something similar like the Shaft is going now.

The Thunder was extremely OP before the rebalance.

As a consequence it got nerfed, pretty bad if compared to how it was.

As a form of compensation it was turned into a mid- to even long-range weapon.

So most Thunderplayers (at least I had) had to adapt to the new characteristics of the Thunder.

Personally I was fine with it, because I knew it would be better for the overal gameplay.

And after just a short time I was back on track with it.

Never as successful as before the Rebalance, but it is still good.

Same with the nerf of the Freeze: it made the game a lot better and more dynamic.

So now it 's Shafts turn. Not to become obsolete, but by making some changes that will eventually lead

to improved gameplay for all Tankers.

Maybe you won 't be that D/L monster anymore, but there 's always room for the Shaft as far as I 'm concerned.

Can 't live with...or without it... :D

p.s. let the downvoting begin! :P

^You happened to have skipped the part where thunder was boosted and made OP again in update 270.

What's funny is that a few weeks after I bought freeze m2, it got nerfed. Now that I bought shaft m2 in the recent sale, it got nerfed. I probably have the worst luck in the world. I feel that if not the damage, shaft's impact force should be boosted. That would alleviate the damage which the laser does. The shake in the scope before the update wasn't so much. Removing it didn't help much.

Owners of shaft who have spent huge crystal to upgrade have now been well and truly SHAFTED by the game owners.  At the very least the owners should be prepared to allow the crystals spent on Shaft to be refunded to allow a purchase of a different turret.  Look at it this way.  One of the developers bought a fancy, high end, BMW.  How would he like it if the manufacturer 'decided' that it was far too powerful and unfair to other cars on the road..........and removed the engine and replaced it with one out of a Lada Niva?

The shaft laser on night mode is inaccurate. It should be invisible if not pointing at you during the day and visible at night everywhere

You can bypass the laser by charging into a wall, popping out of the wall to shoot, and then hiding.

EXACTLY, you are right 100% !

SADLY..................   it's about them taking your money, and you allowing them to take it.  (but, rest assured, if this happened to you:   it happened to me FOR SURE.    oh well,  take the loss and move on .....

by-the-way,  did you see the    War Thunder   site yet ???

You ease shaft kill with the "counter" part which is unfair indeed. Their kill is too much facilated.

Nevertheless I agree that shaft owners should decide to have laser on/off., but once for ever.

This 15 30 45 60 mins matches are all crap. We Loved 100 flags matches (WITHOUT PRO) with unlimited time even 15 or 30 flags matches with an hour period of time. Now a days I try to find a match and it takes almost hour to find a good match and when I join, it ends because of limited time. We Miss the old version and Tanki in old style........

Interesting point of view except that if we take away your speed (which is why you have a light hull), suddenly, your light-weight tank "skills" would be gone.  Best to not 'dis someone's "skills" when you likely do not have any of your own other than snatch-n-grab, which again, is only a good tactic when you have speed (and speed ups) to use.  Face it: all the tanki configurations have features which we can equate with 'skills' (or not), but few of us have any skill in using an actual tank.  Well, okay, I do (1981-1989, 108th AC), but these tanks are not real, are they? And that, actually, is much of what the shaft-player's grumbling is about: who the &^%$ would put what amounts to a strobe light on top of his/her tank?

No one would.

As for sniping, movement is not always wanted and in fact, snipers often do find a nice hide-hole and fire away.  They use things like flash suppression and 'silencers'  and other goodies you apparently know nothing about to help them stay hidden and covert.  If it works, it works, right?  And obviously "camping" and blowing away everyone else on the other side works very well.  (And as an aside, why this negativity to defending a flag? "Camping" is defending, and without all those "camping" shafts, you'd likely lose.)

Face it: you and many others (myself; I have all hulls and all turrets) like to zip back and forth behind your wall or some other cover and fire away at the bad guys; you've developed your skills to do so, all based on the hull and turret (and paint) you like.  Shaft players do the very same thing.  They simply can defeat you in your lightweight tank, and that's what's made you mad, that and the fact that we no-skilled shafts own you in battles, even with all your obvious skills.

Think on it.

I understand why many Tankis  are angers by Shaft users but it is not warranted.  The latest change is unwarranted.

Here is why.
The largest problem right now, is if you are killed in the game, it is very difficult to determine where the kill came from, regardless of weapon type.  I think the Railgun is far more evil than Shaft yet we have no prior marking from Railgun.

Why are you singling out shaft? And why change the program which hardly addresses the problem?

When I get killed, I don't care who killed me or what weapon they used, but where did it come from?  In the real world, I would have real evidence to figure it out, but with Tanki, I can only hope the overview shown after the kill will give me a clue but too often it does not.

Furthermore, for those really concerned about Shaft and Railgun, when three players team up they can take down these snipers. It takes a bit of added skill and cooperation.   Which leads me to my next point.

Tanki needs to provide team communications only options. If I want to direct my read team, I need an easy way to tell them what I think without the opposing team knowing. From what I can tell, the chat options do not allow this.

Finally, I hope the Tanki developers will make contact with me personally as I have many many years of experience with this technology.  I tried Tanki years ago and forgot about it and only recently rejoined and now it really really rocks.

The update is very cool BUT:

you could do it like this because lasers are very detectable and shaft is a hidden sniper weapon it won't stand a chance against face  to face combat

SO, you may do it like: Shaft With Laser = steady shaft's aim <<will help us for long distances (long ranged)

And Shaft WITHOUT Laser = not steady shaft's aim (shaky like it was) << this will help us for close ranged attack

IF you did this ,It will be cooler , more realistic  and more advanced game

it won't be a big challenge for you :)

just don't forget if you accept this idea , you may make lasers toggleable with a key like "L" for example

-----------

questions and looking forward for things:

1) i wanted to ask if you guys will ever support phones ,, like apk or like special browser for it ,, it will be great !

am using now puffin browser but it is very slow though

2)will you add a kill cam? it will be better than showing your wracked tank

3) i wish you guys instead of (player1 destroyed player2) will replace it with (player1 "weapon icon" player2) in the kill list so we can see with what player2 got killed  , this will be great :)

4) i wish you make daily event on test servers for free , so people can see what to upgrade and what they like to be when they are high level

5) last thing i would like it if you guys can actually add SELL button on the hulls, weapons, paints and drugs ,,, and if you can accept a challenge of making a whole trade system , so people can trade their goods (weapons, paints ..etc) with their on prices :)

------------

thank you , i wish you guys vote for my replay so people/moderators can see it

Finally I tested Rio Night Mode. 'Tis excellent, and the brightness isn't too low which is good. The flag glows up a bit on the high side though. The shaft's laser scope is like a nightmare for light tanks, they are seen scurrying through the web of lines on the field. The laser scope doesn't make Shaft too weak, it's still concealed while camping since the laser is just visible for a fraction of a second if you aren't scanning the area and instead just holding space for a second and shooting right away. A big thumbs-up for this update. :)

I honestly don't mind the laser on shaft, although I feel it's kinda trying to turn shaft into something it's not. Shaft is not railgun, it is designed to find a hidden camouflaged corner, and take out single enemies at a time, I feel like you're trying to make shafters act as railguns, moving around and capping flags. This is simply not shafts strong point. I think you could salvage this by instead of having a laser beam, just have a dot that appears on the enemy when they are in your crosshair. I'm glad you removed wobble, that was a really nice thing to do, and has helped shafters a lot.

I personally don't use shaft, but I always giggle when I check the scoreboard and see someone with 50 kills and almost 0 deaths, even a hardcore drugger is unlikely to get a D/L like that :P
