Do you understand what I am trying to  say here? (wink wink) ;)

Move on!

As i predicted, i can't see much shafts in battle, and that's great, its what the devs wanted

Oh back to point, i couldn't care less how many people are online, that dosen't prove the point, they have made shaft irrelevant, its so easy to take them out now than before, you simply don't have statistics on whether the people online are buyers, non buyers and/or new players joining, newbies don't have to care about the rebalances, as i've seen many recently

I have an M1 Shaft don't use it much because my primary tank is a m1 Wasp and I am just not that handy with the thing. But instead of a steady laser maybe a delayed one that flashes when you come into the cross hairs, this may help the shaft users. Have some way to come out of scope without firing your shot, so when we do sneak up on them they have some way to defend themselves.

Or Maybe instead of a full laser beam a dot on the victim tank?

Love the night maps, agree with above tank headlights and darker areas or street lights would be cool addition.

First time ever using this forum.

I cant reiterate enough how unfair this new laser update is to Shaft. First of all the Shaft is a brilliant gun to play with once you've mastered the basic strategies. To ruin such a great feature makes me not want to continuing play this game anymore. I'm one of the better snipers at my rank and it's extremely tough to gain points and rack up kills when you're restricted to basically one shot with an incredibly slow reload time.

The only way the laser feature can be somewhat fair to shaft users is to: increase the speed of the turret rotation, increase the power in arcade mode, and speed up the time it takes to re-enter sniping mode. Otherwise. the shaft cant fight back.

What i've found is as soon as you enter snipe mode people instantly drug to avoid being killed or they rally to your point in bunches. It's frustrating because it takes less time for them to reach you then it does for the shaft to actually re-energize in order to fight back.

The railgun is just as powerful and it takes a fraction of the time to get to full power. If shaft gets a laser beam while sniping it needs a faster opportunity to fight back in close combat situations because you've essentially put a huge target on its back for everyone to attack and aim at.

Hate the update! If it stays I think Im done with Tanki. The shaft is the only turret i enjoy using and its what i've based all my upgrades around. Really it's the only reason I play. Think you guys dropped the ball on this one. Hope you correct it before it's too late.

Also, The Freeze is by far a more disadvantageous or rather frustrating turret for opponents to handle because it renders you useless immediately and the user doesn't have to aim or be at all accurate. They simply just need to be somewhat in the general vicinity..

Nightmode is awesome.

Ok, Mr. Scholar. I am a railgun user and I too think the update isn't fair for shafts but Railgun IS NOT NEARLY as strong as Shaft. Haha, you must not know anything about Tanki if you say that and you say railgun shoots in fraction of a second? Are you absolutely sure you have a functioning brain? Railgun takes about 1.5 seconds to shoot (atleast).

This update completely ruins the shaft from a tactical standpoint.

The beam across the whole map essentially gives everyone a crystal clear target to shoot at.The whole point of having a long range gun is to hide and shoot from cover.

To those complaining about the shaft hitting them unexpectedly, perhaps you shouldn't just drive willy nilly through wide open spaces and leave yourself open to attack.

You can see the direction the shaft is hitting from if you watch it hit another tank. Easy way to find the sniper and kill them either with another shaft or with a short range gun. That's how to beat them. And it takes skill. Just like sniping.

The shaft already has plenty of disadvantages:

slow reload time

slow turn speed

low power hits in arcade mode

high recoil

shake in sniper mode (which should be kept because it forces the player using it to have skill)

It was mentioned earlier that they could change the laser to a dot on the target. I think this sounds like a much better idea.

Its unfortunate this decision to alter the nature of this turret. It was sold as a hid and shoot, sniper gun. I invested my hard earned chrystals and now it is verually usless. I have tried it but am getting out shot with railguns and thunder. Which would have been normal if i was setting in the open. Now there is no hiding. One can point the laser to the ground but this makes it hard to aim at moving targets. When the gun initializes, goes into sniper mode it is pointing straight out so there is moment when the laser is flashing across the map.

My other gun is the ricochet which is fun and everything but sometimes it is better to use the long range.

I know i shouldn't be playing so much tanki, maybe this will help me move onto more productive pursuits.

How about a big sale on other Guns to replace the worthless Shaft, so crybabies like me will stay in the game. Or is the plan just to make us move to other guns that will then become worthless, etc.     :tank:      B)

Сёма, что бы быть снайпером с лазером через всю поляну, нужно быть полным идиотом! Может тебе нужно в армию сходить? С лазером, блин на лбу.

I personally like the update. The lasers for the shaft are a great addition in battle. I use the shaft in battle and its great when trying to defend yourself against other shafts even though I don't like it that I can be found more easily because of the laser. The night maps enhance the battle and create a new experience. Otherwise, I really like the laser and the night maps and can't wait for the next update and new guns.

Hi, my first feedback.

Every turret have their particular pros and cons and the main pro of shaft was the unpredictable attack which turn to be a strategy to use.                      By the way, tanki is considered as a strategy game which combines ability, mind speed and finger speed.            That is the reason many players dont like shaft as opponent.

My suggestion is to have the beam but only for night mode games and not for day mode even at real world beams or lights at day time are imposible to see.

How do you sell new guns? You make the old ones (Shaft) obsolute (useless)

Cha ching !   Pure GREED !

if tanki doesn't change this update back to the original then this is there reason
