Night Mode for maps and Shaft’s laser scope

I still feel some aspects of night mode are not that good.

For example I think the health and recharge bars should not be as bright:

(Left: as they are now; right: as they should be)

I have to agree with this as well....

Talk about making it easy to spot a large majority of the tanks on the battlefield even in the darkest conditions....the bars and supply info are just too bright in night mode. It's like driving around with a neon sign above your tank that says "shoot here please".  Of course I use this to my advantage every time....I can quickly plan a no-brainer attack route around a map such as Barda based solely on the most efficient covered path to kill the most tanks....thanks to the huge neon signs hovering above them.

I love night mode...but the super bright info really dumbs down the battle. I can see it quickly becoming a crutch, a substitute for pushing one's skills to the next level.

Sudden death!?

I can think of mines that cause sudden death. Let's remove them!

I can think of Thunder with DA cause sudden death - deny DA for all thunders.

Oh! Railgun + DA.... Deny them too!

Instead put a firework above every shaft. Also display a mini map with location of all rival shafts. Put a navidator to follow the shortest route to every shaft. Let's think of the nearest direct fire point to the shaft!

Now serious!

1. Shaft causes sudden death only to Wasp and Hornet. It is so silly to put this argument.

2. Shafters are snipers! What do you expect from a sniper? To polish your shoes or cut your nails? The moto is one shot - one death.

3. As a sniper they SHOULD be able to hide! Just thing of a sniper lightning candles in the night - ha ha ha!

Otherwise this is the slowest weapon in the game (yes it IS sniper, not a machinegun) This is the weapon that needs the help of the other team mates to survive and to help the team.

While removing the tilt helps the begginer - revealing shaft's location is very stupid thing! I'm happy I've bought M1 only and I'm angry to myself I've paid full price for it. I guess it'll sit at M1 and completely unused in my garage.

Greetings to all non shaft players! This is your Christmas wish came true. You got this annoing weapon away from most maps.

if we can add laser for all gun In the garage is so beter

:-)

Now that suggestion is both funny (because no serious experienced shaft user would ever waste crys on the laser) and excellent (because everyone else would buy it thinking it's cool).

We can add it to the list of how to spot an unskilled tanker:

1. Which way to the flag?

2. Left, right, back forward...round and round in circles....excuse me excuse me....sorry am I blocking you from returning the flag?

3. My isida can heal my teammates?  I didn't know that. I thought it was a bug zapper.

4. Stop shoot move....stop shoot move....

5. oh I can turn my turret? I didn't know that. My hull is my turret.

and now...

6. look at my cool laser scope! Bam....dead.

Simple, you have wasted the beauty of the shaft, I'll never use it in battle with that ridiculous laser beam. If I can't hide myself in battle, shaft becomes very useless. About night mode I don't think it is so exciting, it makes my eyes tired...

Shaft is ruined by this update of the laser , if you must have laser let it be visible only to the to the person it is aimed at as in real life . You are devaluing all the time and money I have spent on my shaft and mammoth. LET THE OTHERS LEARN TACTICAL SKILL THE HARD WAY, like a sherman did with a tiger or a t55 with a centurion. So you people who just want a childlike arcade game GROW UP, the real world isnt easy ask a sherman or t55 crewman ,or even a t72 crew.

Mr.Semyon

A suggestion for ya m8 . Make the laser scope a bit thinner and light in colour so it doesn't directly indicate to the opponent from where his enemy is targeting him/her.

Alright, let me be honest here. YES, shafts that were hiding and kept killing me every time i spawned REALLY PISSED ME OFF... But this new update has shown me to appreciate how it was like. Not knowing where the shaft was hiding was part of the fun. It was like a test of skill to try and find where they were hiding. Now if i get shot, i see exactly where it came from, and it gets boring. Sure i get pissed by camping shafts, but as i said before, part of the fun of this game is finding  solution and strategy to move around, locate, and destroy them without being caught in their sights. I dont know about you guys, bit i think this laser feature really ruins part of this game... I would like to see the shaft without a laser.

TANKI YOU NEED TO SLOW DOWN WITH THE UPDATES!

I do like the shaft update. Night modes are pretty cool.

I take that back I like the night mode but the shaft laser give others a chance to avoid the sniper but if you scope-in then move it on to someone they still don't have a chance. However i see the down side of the laser on shaft users of shaft experience.

Tanki should still slow down with the updates and just let people enjoy the game.

FAIL

The whole point of SNIPING is to not be seen.  You've just completely stripped that away with this update.  Probably the most ******ed turret update since I began playing

Some of the shaft players were so annoying in the past. Those who were camping somewhere looking at the middle field or some areas of the map, and aiming in scope mode. WITHOUT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE BATTLE IN CTF. E.g. not searching for the enemy taking our flag.

I mean MY TEAM MATES annoyed me.

If you hate "campers" then you're too young or naive to understand the role of a long range sniper. Sniping is *all* about camping out...sometimes for days at a time. Slow, deliberate, incremental movement only when necessary. Watch, wait and kill.  That you happened to play with inexperienced shaft operators is unfortunate. Those of us with experience may still camp, but quite often we're quick enough not to have to sit in sniper mode constantly.  For example, I watch for spawning tanks. In the time it takes them to spawn and figure out what their next move is, I can switch to sniper mode, adjust the turret, charge and fire. This also allow me to deal more effectively with attacks from the rear. More than half the time I cannot rely on teammates to be smart enough to know to protect their slow-turning snipers' flanks and rear.

Those complaining that the wobbling shaft required skills are right. Now the stable aiming is much easier and I was shot in move yesterday several times in a way that never happened before. The shafts could follow me much easier than before...

Again this is a sign of playing against unskilled snipers. I can kill you while you're moving, if you change direction and if you hide on the other side of the map with a mere 1 millimeter of your hull peeking out from any location. I can use the shaft to flip you, knock you off balance as you make a jump or take you out the second before you return a flag just to piss you off.

The wobble was a non-issue.  An annoyance but no different than developing good breathing technique to steady your aim when firing a real handheld weapon such as a pistol.

I used to play with shaft (M1) for several months (during Spring). I liked the sniping but did not really like staying and camping in one spot. So, I changed to the Rail. It is more dynamic and agile. I think a little more agility would help those afraid of being exposed by the laser beam. As in case of every kind of change there will be several haters, but some will find the way how to live with, some will even prefer the new. I am sure there will be a lot who cannot get used to it.

There aren't just a few haters.  From what I can tell the large majority of comments are from players who do not want the laser update, myself included.  I suspect they'll get rid of the laser within a couple weeks after realizing it was another awful idea. Either that or it'll end up as a garage item.

There is no "getting used to it".  It's a feature created by developers who are too young and inexperienced to understand the fundamentals of sniper tactics and the role of a sniper. And now, with night mode (which I like) all the other tanks are vulnerable too because the tank health and supplies info is visible from afar like a big ol' lighthouse beacon that says "shoot here". I see kids suggesting that the developers add headlights to the tanks...another bad idea from people who think in terms of "cool" not in terms of the practical application and impact in battle.

The rail isn't a precision weapon. Rail versus shaft is the difference between driving a vehicle with an automatic or a manual transmission...the latter is for those who want precision control.

Its a good idea making this update but kind of pointless. night mode its still very easy to see your opponents. and shaft instead of reducing the amount of people playing with it IT INCREASED!!!!! everybody is using shaft now and all i see is lasers...but i suppose eventually people will realise that shaft actually got nerfed. not got better. You should make dark alot darker and shafts laser scope light up where it is. also make tanks have headlights.

the new laser for shaft, is cool, but STUPID!!! it would be better if you had a setting (when creating battles) were you can pick if you want to be able to see the laser or not. then people who like the update and want to be able to see it, and for people who dont like it, can turn it off. and while we are on the topic, i think night battles are EXCELENT!! i think its really cool

that when you have the flag you glow that color, and that the flags glow to, though it would be better if you made night mode for all the battles. im really excited for the new turrets to come out to. :)

Most players are against this update. Previously, only the Shaft was the sniper; now with this laser is completely the opposite. Now those who do not use the Shaft, are those who destroy you. Use Shaft is now useless.

Did you just taken out your brightness on your computer and pasted the image?
