I am a keen player of tanki and I find it a great way to pass the time, however recently you have implemented some changes and whilst I welcome some of these changes such as the perk changes and the way crystals are gained in the game, I am very disappointed with your decision to change the shaft. I am a great fan of the shaft because it allows me to set ambushes and create an element of surprise which is the whole reason I choose this gun, my kill ratios usually around 50 kills 5 deaths or 100 or more kills 10 deaths. By having a laser it defeats the object of me using this gun and ruins the game play in my opinion, as a paying customer I am disappointed that Tanki decided to make this change without a proper consultation of shaft users (as geeky as that may sound) This whole laser thing has kinda just put me off the game. The whole idea of being a sniper is that you snipe from a far distance in secret, but now you have added lasers it just gives away the position of the tank, you wouldn't disadvantage  firebird or isida tanks just because they have an advantage over the shaft at close combat would you? But shaft users have been now put at an unfair advantage at distance. The whole idea of the shaft is that it is great at long range and supposedly disadvantaged at close quarters, but now you have made it rubbish at both! You have totally affected my style of playing and ruined a good game, really disappointed on this and the fact that this change was just made, as a paying customer I have not been even asked of my opinion. My tank is even camoflaged to the same colour as the vegetation just so I can blend in and snipe. By having a laser it has just defeated the objective of being a sniper and has most definitely will have put many users off your game. Although you have made it easier to sniper you have taken the skill out of sniping by taking away the shake in sniping mode, that was one of the parts that made it fun. 

 

Something that would be really good to implement for tanks would be camouflaged netting, which a user could purchase and add over there tank to blend into the vegetation. Also it would be good if the vegetation was more varied such as more types of bushes + trees.

you guys are begining just killing this beutiful game with a **** updates like this last one and a few littel ones before this . Like changing the graffics of gold box marking the items a.s.o. you wil  last a lot of clients (payeble) with this experiments seems to me . you can shure count on it . ;)

Things I don't like:

 

1) Being Frozen, let's take away the ability of Freeze to actually slow down players.

2) Being Burned, let's take away the after-burn of FireBird.

3) Being Plasma'd, let's take away the bounce effect of Ricochet.

4) Being Twinned, let's take away the unlimited artillery of Twins.

5) Being Nano-botted, let's take away the self healing of Isada

6) Being Critically Damaged, let's take away the random critical damage of Smokey

 

I guess we can all play with Thunder, that would make it even.

I have to agree with this as well....

 

Talk about making it easy to spot a large majority of the tanks on the battlefield even in the darkest conditions....the bars and supply info are just too bright in night mode. It's like driving around with a neon sign above your tank that says "shoot here please".  Of course I use this to my advantage every time....I can quickly plan a no-brainer attack route around a map such as Barda based solely on the most efficient covered path to kill the most tanks....thanks to the huge neon signs hovering above them.  

 

I love night mode...but the super bright info really dumbs down the battle. I can see it quickly becoming a crutch, a substitute for pushing one's skills to the next level.

I agree with you. I have always felt it would be better to remove those bars and icons. They could just move the team color indicator to some spot on the tank for id purposes. Although the big neon signs do make it easy to target people.

I would like to tell you that the new upgrade of snipe does not make sense as it isnt doing justice the gun 

because if you understand a snipers role is to hide far away from its enemies and instantly kill them but due to the laser that wouldnt be possible anymore if you google different kind of sniper you will not find even that has a laser thats always active. If youre providing a laser it should be players choice if they wish to enable or disable it.

I feel your frustration with this update. I too, as I assume most do, use shaft as a sniping weapon. Hiding is the whole point of the shaft, well at least it used to be. Why do they never mess with rail? When I play as an attacker I feel rails, with their over power single shot, too be more of a problem then a few hidden shafts. Most players knew where the shafts may be hiding and learned to avoid those areas, and for those that were not smart enough to figure it out got killed. But now because too many stupid players whined about the shafts abillity to hide and keep killing them, we have to lose the advantage shaft and cover offered.  :angry:

 

And on a different note, sadly Tanki puts no more value in a paying player then a non-paying one.  :( I found that out right around the same rank you are now. Realizing that fact sure helped curb my spending habits. I'm not about to give my hard earned dollars to a company that makes no distinction between paying and non.

Since some little babies whined about Shaft being hard to see, I want to whine about railgun's physics.  It is awful!!!  Railgun should not be able to shoot and hit a tank when that tank is literally beside the shooter and the barrel is pointing the wrong direction.  Yet this seems to happen every game.  Fix Railgun.  It's targeting is too generous.  Make the players aim at least within 45 degrees of the right direction to hit.  I challenge you to fix that annoying glitch.  It's the worst part of the game now.  Make the physics make sense.

Man, you took the words right out of my mouth. Rail is way more annoying than shaft, and yet shaft gets nerfed. The reason they will not mess with rail is because it is the main gun used in starladder, and they wouldn't want to mess with that. Well the season is over now, so fix the rail physics. If you see a rail charging you should be able to dodge behind the wall and not get hit, but if only that was true. :(  One idea would be to reduce the speed of the projectile. If you are a long way off, it should take time for the bullet to hit you. Adding a few milliseconds would be all it would take. If my reflexes are fast enough I should be able to dodge the shot, at least sometimes.

please remove shaft altogether with this upgrade as its no longer a playable game . Its impossible to move round the map without being destroyed

ITS AWSOME IN NIGHT MOD AND ITS GOOD BECAUSE IN NIGHT U DIDNT KNOW WHERE U ENEMY HIDDEN BUT ON DAY MAPS ITS EASY FOR ENEMY TO SPOT THE SHAFT TANK AND THE SHAFTS   CHANGE THEIR TANKS TO OTHER TANKS OR LEAVE BATTLES SO I ONLY SAY U THAT PLEASE SEE THE NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE OF SHAFT LASSER SCOPE BECAUSE IT DSTRUB ME OR OTHER SHAFTS TANKS.hOPE U UNDERSTAND ME AND TAKE SOME ACTIONS

NOW WHATS YOUR NEW UPDATE TANKI ONLINE PLUGIN SOME BULBS ON TANK OR MAPS U DO ALL TIMES BAD 2 OUT OF 10 UPDATES ARE GOOD SEE YOUR LAST CRYSTALS EXPERIMENT THEY ALL RUINED THE TANKI ONLINE U  MAKE THIS GAME RANKING LOW AND BAD AND ONE DAY COME U R RANKING DOES DOWN FROM NO 1 IF U DO THESE STUPID UPDATES LIKE REMOVING CRYSTALS BOXES AND LASER ON  SHAFT

Plz guys come on, im taking me as a proffesional shaft and his magic was in ONE SHOOT ONE LIFE and INVISIBILITY. Tanki online is coming a little boring and scru****. Don't be angry just now will be shaft most vulnerable turret in game it will be easy to locate, easy to destroy. Also easy to run before it.

 

I still think its bulls***.Regards

many it would be better if it was just a red dot not a laser beam as what i love to do with a shaft if hide behind trees where others can not see me but if theres a massive beam coming out it is kind of useless. so i would prefer it if it was just a red dot

 

and make it so you can turn it on and off

Tankers! Our game keeps evolving. Today marks the release of two, new, exciting updates. Let’s look into them in more detail!

 

Laser scope for Shaft

 

Before this update, Shafts used to be very challenging opponents, to the extent that some tankers found them frustrating to deal with. This was mainly because an instant kill from a Shaft was impossible to predict.

 

However, Shaft is a turret that is totally unique in terms of gameplay. Because of that, we want to keep it in Tanki. Of course, we also want tankers to have a fair shot at defending themselves from Shaft's sniping attacks and dealing with it effectively.

 

Our solution is the laser scope. From now on, while in sniping mode, Shaft will project a laser beam visible to everyone in the arena. This will make Shaft attacks more predictable, and will add a new tactical dimension to the game, both for Shaft users and their opponents. You'll be able to spot enemy snipers more easily and use alternative routes to get close enough to deal with them. On the other hand, one or several Shafts controlling a narrow pass, will discourage anyone from trying to break through.

 

We have also removed the shake from Shaft’s scope view, making long-range precision kills easier and deadlier. Whether you are a Shaft user yourself, or a tanker trying sneak past enemy snipers, this update is definitely worth checking out.

 

Night mode for maps

 

If you're looking for a new way to experience Tanki Online, you're going to love the new Night Mode. The darker sky and textures, as well as the illuminated drop boxes and flags, will not only make the experience more immersive, but also add a whole new tactical element. While an illuminated flag will be easier to locate, it will also make your position a lot more evident while carrying it, making you an easier target to spot.

 

For now, Night Mode is exclusively available on Rio, Sandbox, Barda, Kungur, Polygon, Silence, Stadium and Future. Eventually, if the feature proves to be popular, we might choose to make it available on all maps.

 

We hope you'll enjoy these new updates. Make sure you give us your feedback; it will help continue to improve the game, making it more fun and engaging for you.

shaft laser is the most stupid update ever seen this turret is a sniper  why  put a stupid laser giving away your position  a human sniper does not have a flashlight on the top of is helmet 

 

​C'mon you cannot even go in enemy territory without being seen  as soon in sniper mode the other team players attack you and since that turret is already slow  Guess what 

 

So  I was a fan of tank on line not any more will p^lay another game sorry guys  

 

your developers  have no knowledge
