"Guys" ...

(Started by Semyon Kirov, 04 Dec 2014 04:44) and today is 8th of December! total pages 37 and posts per page 20!

In other words, for last 5 days there were almost 740 (less than 740 players posted their thoughts here) posts, and if we are to calculate 99.9 of them as negative posts for this new update, still we only have 739 players against the new update.

For your information: right now out there HAPPY 96900 players playing this game in game servers!

Do you understand what I am trying to  say here? (wink wink) ;)

Move on!

yeah, we understand, but i want want to ask you a simple question, how many of them are using Shaft 1 or 2 .

I especially like the effect the occurs when the laser gets close while you are in arcade mode, how it gets a bit blury. As for the night mode, it's amazing, but it would be even more wonderful if little blue light on M3 tanks work as a car light as it shines through the night mode, but only for M3s as they are the only modification the owns that feature. But the radius of the light wont be big, just a few meters.

Cool idea. They really should implement it.

As a shaft M0 user (yes I'm new), update is moderately frustrating for me but understandable. I understand the game wants to be balanced, and to be honest, it was pretty easy racking up 40 kills in 10 minutes just from hiding at the back with a shaft. That being said, the thing that annoys me with this update, is teammates using the shaft. No offence, but a lot of teammates are pretty clueless and they just give away your position. So while you're trying to keep the laser down, your teammate has got it up and no opponents are going down the route you're trying to get kills.

Anyway back on track, the point of the laser was to balance the shaft, but if people don't like it, how else should they balance the shaft? I know I had a whine about the laser in the previous paragraph, but at the moment it seems to be a solid option for keeping the shaft balanced. Possibly have some 'warning sounds' when you've got a shaft aiming at you instead of the laser????

Night update was pretty good and is necessary for this game to move forward. I personally don't like night games, but I know some people like it so it's good they are giving options.

Nobody's probably going to read this hole post but whatever lol...

What happened to the large battle funds!?

Recently I have been noticing that the battle funds are decreasing in size. I haven't been in a 1000+ battle fund game in a week.

What Happened!!??

Also, it it taking me forever to rank up. Any suggestions?

I agree with you. Even during triple battle fund I did not find any 2k + battle fund.

It took me awhile to get the exact amount, thought worth the try. ;)

*Green dots are shaft M2s

Why does the English community not get to participate in a poll but the Russian community does? Let us vote! Give us a survey on the update! Why can the Russians do something we can't? Give us a survey!

Have a look!

A comparison of a shaft's older version and more or less current version

2i7x213.jpg

Tanki developers didn't touch shaft's core parameters this time, and they even took the shaking off from weapon's view scope (a huge advantage) but they came up with this new feature "Laser beam". Maybe this new laser feature is hindering some new shaft users, but not the old shaft users.

I for one understand why they had to make the laser scope, in the past here in Tanki we only had night maps to celebrate a Halloween or New Year, but when they went to make "nighttime" permanent maps they encountered a valid threat of overpowered shafts again, and they had to level the playing field by saving other turret users in dark maps from hiding shafts (as they said in introduction video).

Have a look:

Now imagine the chaos a player with "hornet+shaft+picasso" combination may have caused even in a daylight map hiding in those bushes?

or in that matter hiding in a nighttime Rio map with adequate protection and camouflage paint? it would have been another disastrous update similar to "growing crystal boxes update"

They just had to level the playing field guys, this update has nothing to do with Tanki earnings this time.

:)

What they should have at least done was made a laser for night-mode only which is invisibile during the day. There is no "level the playing field" when you have a laser in the day that is visible to all around to see, due to shaft being such an easy target up close.

When a sniper choses to hide in any bushes, they can only do so for a short period of time until they are spotted. Any adept player will know that there will be snipers hiding in that vicinity, because it is not like those bushes are everywhere in the map. They are only confined to a small area!

Google translator

Unfortunately the developers killed this game for me.

I still play in a few maps, but only when the team is very good, otherwise it is waste of time. I even tried to play pointing the laser to an obstacle, but every day it gets worse to play. The team that has Shaft, this at a disadvantage.

Do not want to devote my time and my crystals to learn and develop other weapon

Who liked this update, which makes good use, remember that the next victim of tanki, could be you. I'll look for another game that respects more the player and not totally changes the characteristic of the game..

i love this update ! it's great  and its fun to scare all with the laser point :D Good work developers ! keep going :)

The goal of this game is not to scare the opponents... it's to shoot them.

No offence DrSaint, but I have been running a shaft since before Rebalance. You state that "maybe this new laser feature is hindering some new shaft users, but not the old shaft users." I think your perception will change by the time you rank to Generalissimo, where there are more experienced players.  At the rank of Generalissimo, Shaft is a sitting duck from the minute it takes it's first shot. The reason you see such high destroy rates on some shafts, is not because they are OP, but because of skill. I rather have the shake than the beam. Having a beam at the rank of Generalissimo is a joke. Like waving a flag, "Here I am! Over here! Come and get me!" I have heard a lot of players (claiming to have a Shaft) boasting about how they are fine with the new up date, that the game is more challenging, and only unskilled shafts are having difficulty, etc. I have encountered these same players on the field and they are not running a shaft...LOL. I think what we have here, is a lot of players agreeing with this update, that don't run a Shaft. And the other half just wants to boast. And then there is the group that is still using their shaft against lower ranking inexperienced players. The shaft is a snipers weapon. Can you picture a sniper (outside of the movies) with a laser, alerting his target? Sorry if anyone is offended by this, or feels the need to prove me wrong to pump up their image as a "skilled" shaft runner, but the laser has no business on the shaft. If this be the case, Why not put a laser on a Rail Gun, or Smokey?

Since this update even when I have double armor on my M2 Hornet I cannot survive a shaft hit without it being fatal 100% of the time.

With double armor I should have 290 hit points.

M3 shaft has a max. damage of 260 hit points. No shaft should kill me unless it is using double power.

But even shafters who aren't even M2/M3 yet are taking me out with one hit even when they don't use double power.

Even with no double armor I can survive a mine because I slightly upgraded the protection via MU.

But even on Lost Temple if I am just spawning and there is an enemy shaft on the other side of the map at the opposing team's base a single shot takes me out every time. Very frustrating because before they made this update it never happened. Never.

Prior to this "update" a shaft would at best give me about 50-60% damage, more if I was about 2-4 tank lengths away, and, if I was in the air when hit by a shaft it would have a tendency to flip me.

Every. Single. Time {hit.by.shaft]=100% damage now. As soon as the laser hits me POW! Dead.

The damage dealt by shaft is the same as before

Your argument is invalid

Hmm... Well I bought my shaft without that lazer, so I want my crystals back, otherwise you take of that lazer. You know that around 75% of players that see the lazer coming to them die? Did you know that 25% escape by luck? In night mode, yeah that lazer is not that visible, but still.
