Night Mode for maps and Shaft’s laser scope

A laser beam on a Sniper's gun... Well, if they don't do something about this laser, Tanki will surely become the laughing stock of the gaming world...

 

Going by this update, may as well bring out another one to make tanks fly - I am  sure this will add to the excitement!

it's very bad idea for me (And Other Shafters). it's not good an i can't kill anyone! My Crystal & XP is very LOW for this laser. Please Change To Befor State.

I don't know mate, I play almost exclusevely with Shaft and a mobile Hunter (both m1), and unless playing m2+ players, I usually scored pretty good, sometimes 1st.

 

Now, after the update I was pissed but kept to it. Now, I still score pretty well, and sometimes 1st.

 

But it definitely killed hiding/static sniping.

If you going to add laser ok .....could you put shaft fire power like it was before micro up dates of reducing it 3% if you going to make us be seen by cry babys let them die like it and give shaft back the muscel it once had that way we can handle trying to snipe but knowing we going to destroy what we shooting ..saying this cause shaft is joke now since you took all the things that made wanting one a pleasure on the battle field

I am not a Shaft player, I usually play against Shafts in CTF battles.

My experience after the update indicates that Shaft became more strong than before.

The laser beam might be a give away of shaft's position and in most cases (not all, though!) this is a disadvantage, but eliminating the tremble in sniper mode makes it a more powerfull weapon, and an unforgiving one..

So, shafters should feel happy about this, unless they sleep while targeting..

 

My proposal, well, of course is "bring back the tremble or increase the loading period of shaft"!

 

EDIT: All those that gave me negative reputation, are they shafters that don't like what I propose (I find it natural then) or they simply disagree with what I experienced regarding Shaft? I am curious to know if they thing that shaft didn't become stronger after the laser update.

shaft is not stronger it weaker  they took shaft strength and fire power down, back then when you hold shaft fire button you build up your shot but now it no where near fun anymore cause shaft no is longer the bully in the block..

Uhmmm...agree with your comm about shaft...but..disagree with giving back crys boxes...why would you(all of you) want them back?...well...yes...youre not so bog ranked and its hard to earn crys but if you are going to earn crys from boxes then you cant earn xp and it will take you much longer to RankUp=>same low battle founds for long time...but if there are no more çrys boxes...u need to fight to earn them...but while u fight..u also make a lot of xpso its a win/win...when there was crys boxes even if you would be in winning team..a guy from loosing team could make more crys then you from gathering crys boxes...now they cant do so => hard work=RankUp=more crys=better equipment=even faster RankUp=even more crys...and so on...

 

i just want the original fire power shaft had back

night is amazing and i went and bought shaft when i heard about this update And u did awesome work with all this but please give us back diamond boxes im still a master sergeant and its not nice when my level ppl have m2 guns that kill me 1 hit after i have shot at them like 15 times :c

i fill you on that i shot a player 7 times full power up and he didnt even have armor or no micro upgrade and he didnt die

FAIL

 

The whole point of SNIPING is to not be seen.  You've just completely stripped that away with this update.  Probably the most ******ed turret update since I began playing in March 2014.

 

If you want to give a "hint" to make things "fair", then show an illuminated dot on the target's hull or on objects nearby. At most perhaps show a tiny red dot on the sniper. But to show a laser from point A to point B is idiotic. Tanki developers needs to rethink this one.  Absolutely stupid!

 

For the naysayers I add...shaft is already purposely disadvantaged in close quarter combat. The turret turns relatively slowly, arcade damage is significantly lower, and reload time is fairly long for sniping.  There was absolutely no need whatsoever to further handicap the turret with this update.  Experienced players know how to deal with snipers.

 

This is what happens when you let young developers who have ZERO actual military experience make unrealistic tactical changes to a game that is based on....wait for it....military weaponry and tactics. My guess is they thought the laser was "cool". Thankfully they do not design actual military equipment.

 

What's the next update?  Perhaps we can have an avatar that pops up with helpful hints such as: "shhhhh the enemy is hiding right around the next corner on the left...it's a thunder/mammy/prodigi combo...you might want to switch to your rico with needle paint. Proceed with caution".

 

Just give me back the shake (which was never an issue for me), and get rid of the stupid laser.

On the other hand, I have been waiting for a night mode to finally be released. I haven't tried it yet but I am sure it's fantastic.  The next thing on my wish list is weather conditions such as rain/snow/thunder. Night mode is a huge win.

 

Tanki developers...you got this one half right. Obviously noobs who hate snipers are going to love the dead giveaway (might as well hold their hands and help them drive their tanks while you're at it) ....but any player with experience knows where to look for snipers and doesn't need a laser beam "hint".

While previously shaft was a turret for campers, it became a turret for mobile play as well. In other words, it became more dominant than before.

After the recent laser update it's true that shafters became visible targets, but on the other hand the lack of tremble  made shaft a more deadly weapon. since the odds of missing are now next to none. So, in a way, shaft became even more powerfull than before. That's why now I have to find and eliminate every shaft in my way, in order to survive.

 

I think I explained clearly why I wrote that shaft became more powerfull, didn't I?

So, you played with people who don't know how to use shaft.

 

Cause, even if it was set to camp somewhere, waiting for a target, it was most powerfull by moving and finding a good target by ourselves.

 

Now, camper must move in order to survive, so they use the true power of shaft.

 

 

Also, you're right, it's easier to hit a target, now.

 

 

I have to admit that it's not a so bad update. I still use the shaft, and still be deadly with it.

The biggest change is in the fact that we all know when we die from shaft now (when targeted, but there is still an arcade mod, that is like all other turret, whithout the laser scope, but obviously less powerfull).

 

 

 

The only thing I regret now, is that it need less skill to be deadly whith shaft. So it's harder to be much better than any other shaft.

It remain some user that don't know how it worked really, or that keep the same way of using shaft than before. Those people are easier to kill. But they will understand, or forgive shaft one day ^^.

Hazel-rah already made the resentful decision to keep the laser scope, my advise is not to bother to waste your time upgrading/buying shaft and not to show up with it in battle as most of us snipers have already done

 

Do you know how easy it is to avoid it now? Just as i predicted :D

The removing of scope shake makes 0 difference.0.00...that for skilled shafters like me 0.0000000000000000000.Its helpful only for low ranked unskilled noobs -_-

jestli chceš zachránit věžičky ve hře, tak odinstaluj naprosto idiotský update asi z před 2 let, kdy jste Shafty ZABILI!!!!

 Ale vím, že nás všechny máš rád, zejména ty, kteří si pozice vydobili poctivě a bez FŇUKÁNÍ TEPLÝCH  BOJS  a proto si nás vyhnal ke konkurenci, abychom viděli, o jaký PARNÍK  jsou dále. Za to ti děkuji. Jsem velmi spokojen. A ty si tu dělej co chceš. Občas nahlédnu a pořád velké H.....O !

I've given up using shaft because the changes are just silly.  Can anyone recommend a tank game with more realism and with a sensible set of developers behinds it who don;t keep moving the goalposts?  I don;t want to put any more effort into this game.
