What in the.... is "drugger"?!

I have completely blocked off chat, by personal choice. Commonly saw the word "drugger" being used in battle chat.

What is this??!!

Someone that constantly uses supplies.

 

This term came from the fact that a long, long time ago the only "drug" in the game was the First Aid Kit. Its logo was a syringe and it enhanced your game health. So the word for it became the "drug".

 

Some say a mine is a "drug", but I personally don't think so, as mines don't actually enhance the tank you are using.

 

But all the other supplies definitely are "drugs".

 

Now using dropped supplies is not technically "drugging". I don't actually know a term for people that only use dropped supplies.

 

Drugging is generally looked down upon by the people who don't do it as it makes the game "unfair", but you can do whatever you want as long you don't break any game rules. So you were probably seeing this written by whiners.

I am noticing that those that use the supplies are quite invincible..... for awhile, anyways. Here's a thought: How long before those supplies are "as an experiment, and temporarily", of course are taken out of the game..... :rolleyes:

Hopefully not, when I use the power-ups, I finally get to destroy Tanks!!

 

But on a side note, I read power-ups didn't use to exist, only "Health".  Additionally, unless you are quoting the developers personally, you don't know what will or will not be taken out of the game.

The word "drugger" was used when you could activate all 3 supplies at once and the person would just keep doing that the whole game to win. I don't see the word much now, but before Smart Cooldowns came, It was used a lot.

With smart cooldowns, you can't complain someone is "drugging" now, seeing as you can only use 1 at a time, unless you pick up supplies, which fall quite often...
