People Take This Game Too Seriously

 Share

Recommended Posts

There's been a lot of stigma against so-called "saboteurs" in the game. I believe that players are over-reacting to that. I personally find nothing wrong with camping for crystal drops or being friendly with one or two members of the enemy team.

Before crystal boxes were removed altogether, boxes would be a huge chunk of the income of an inexperienced player. Someone who couldn't garner enough points to earn a portion of the battle fund could pick up crystal drops instead. Players camping near drop zones shouldn't be denigrated for their actions.

Also, I don't understand why people take teams so seriously. After all, we're all just players in this game. Someone on the enemy team could very well become your ally in a game the next day. There is nothing wrong with having someone on your Friends List to also be on the enemy team, nor is there anything wrong with a truce between two enemy tankers.

Of course, there are players who join a battle and not do ANYTHING at all, and players who deliberately impede their team's progress. I'm not defending those players, only those who engage in slightly less questionable activities. It's impossible to find the perfect battle. If a teammate seems to be prioritizing profit over the objective, or has a secret agreement with an enemy, it's better to let it slide and allow the other 7 or 8 players on the team to compensate for their faults.

The game is our mission to succeed in battle, rank, etc. We don't have time to waste, if we have a dream in tanki. The crystal collectors they just pick the crystals, get whatever they want, everything else they don't care. Crystals only drop if you killed someone, the crystal collecters don't deserve the crystals. (Kill=you get a crystal box)(Try your best and focus on the game= you win the battle)

saboteurs ruin the battle for those who spend time and money on tanki I.e if it is 2v2 the person on your team is not your friend but the two others are then the other person on your team would have to do 1v2 instead of 2v2.

mults ruin the game for those who are low on crystals and don't have the time to spend hours on tanki and finish battles I.e a person with mammoth is just sitting on a crystal drop zone while a wasp with little crystals needs crystals and can't get any.

Mults and Saboteurs ruin the game for fair players and if you are one of ^^ these people  that team with enemies or sits on crystal drop zones then

DO NOT PLAY TANKI!

I am glad and sad they removed the crystal boxes

You find nothing wrong with people camping for crystals and being useless? Or worst, mults, put there specifically to ruin games. Dude, there's something wrong with you. I don't care to much about alllies or friends, those can change battle to battle, but everyboy wants a real shot to the victory, some for crystals, others like me for joy. The mults and the players who use them are crummy.

Tanki is not a game which one can play for relaxation and leave. After one point if becomes very difficult to leave everything you have worked for. Again, no one wants to play a game where other players feed on their hard work. Tanki should be a clean game for everyone to enjoy. This is the reason we have moderator without whom you would have not been playing by now due to sabotage and abuse.

If everyone multed and or just sat and collected crystals and no killing, the crystals wouldn't fall anymore. Also how boring would it be if everyone just sat in a crystal drop zone and no one played.

What if your team was winning and you were at the top of your team, then suddenly mults start to join your team. The likely chances are that they could be letting down your team. So, the enemy team have a chance of takeover. You would definitely be annoyed as you may have spent a long time in that battle. This has happened to me before, and I'll tell you, it's not a nice experience.

No one is over-reacting, teaming with the other side is a clear violation of multiple game rules. Teaming with the other side isn't just a violation of rules but also harms and effects the chances of your team wining, so you are not only harming yourself, you are harming your team as well.

Before crystal boxes were removed altogether, boxes would be a huge chunk of the income of an inexperienced player. If a player isn't experienced, then the player should join a game with other inexperienced tankers that are at the same amount of power, not join a game with ranks 5 times higher, of course he wont get anything!

People take it seriously because you are damaging there chances to win, each team wants to win, and when you decrease there chances, of course everyone will dislike you! You are ruining the game for them.. you're correct, an enemy could be a friend later, but at that moment, he is your enemy and he will do anything to destroy you, you should do the same! :P

There is an easy and effective way of putting them to rest, just make a video showing them violate the rules (sabotage, mult, teaming with the other side etc..) and post it here: Game violators section and report there.  But please, make sure you read the section rules before posting.

No need, just use the report option at the bottom right hand corner asking for closure. By the owner of the topic of course.

Closed.
