Yes it does. It is less common b ecause almost everyone plays CP mode, where it won't drop. I am more uncertain about it dropping in the middle of Madness.

Been playing Cross XP/BP and I can't find a gold box drop location other than in the middle and on the beginnings of the small bridges.

Not all drop locations on maps are symmetrical. I won't add it to the map unless someone has actually seen a gold drop there.

By the way, in "Year 2042" map, there is a drop zone under the giant divot in the ground between the flags. It is directly to the left of the Gold Dropzone all the way on the right, in the middle. The only difference is that it is underneath the bridge thing.

I am glad i found this topic, because now whenever gold drops and no one finds it, I know the secret spot it is in. Don't you people love it when the gold is hidden from plain sight and no one notices you catch gold?

I think after last years update gold boxes fall randomly anywhere before the used to fall in the area which was in the middle of both the team sides....

 

 

Silence was easy to find, so was Noise earlier. But i think they fall randomly now
