Why 0-40 and still play?

I usually play TDM, mostly to win....  :P

If I enter a game where the usually invulnerable Isida  shows up, or the place becomes crowded with Freeze or you see patrols of Thunders supported by Isida killing every one on their way with no damage for them (very usual case...  :angry: ), the result is a quick reverse of the score putting me on the losing side....

In this cases I don't waste time: I quit!  B)

I rarely play CTF that instead seems to be the most popular game here.

And the big question is: WHY??

Most of the CTF games listed on servers have scores absolutaly unbalanced: you easily find 10-0, 20.0 and also much more...-0!

The strange thing I can't understand is that these games are FULL on both sides!  :o

20 or more players are split in a team that is capturing flags one after the other and the other team shooting here and there hopelessly.

These matches can last long time...

Why, I say again, WHY the losing team (or the single players) stays there until the end of the match????

When I see the overwhelming predominance of the opponent team I immediately leave and search for a better game....

These people instead seem to produce some resistance (uselessly) so I don't think it's a mult or some cheating for getting crystals...

Am  I missing something???

Its not that. Sometimes when I play a CTF and my team wins I continue to play the next rounds. However a time comes when opponent team starts winning...... But I still stay in the game. Imagine if you are winning and opposite team runs away.... Would you still have fun??? There will be no increase in battle fund and you will but get anything for all your hard work.

That is why losing team is more important than winning one.... They have more patience and endurance than winning one. Due to this it also becomes important for winning team to encourage fair play and, if possible, wait for losing team to have as many members as winning one. Only true spirit of competition can help everyone.

 

P.S. mostly I don't leave on losing because I am too lazy to find another battle..:-p

Actually i have an idea. Maybe it is not about main meaning. Maybe it is about small messages in the text. MOD's don't explain why they deleted topic. So you should guess reason.

Quitting only makes it worse for you team this is why I don't quit:

 

Leaving my team in the heat of battles and make it worse for them.

Learning new tricks and skills vs allot of enemies.

Goldbox, and allot more.

 

I used to quit battles but now I don't and most of not quitting payed off

when I did not quit hill some m2s join my team and I got gold and won

I got more goldboxes not quitting, then quitting.

I earned 1k-25k within a week by not quitting.

You only look at things from your perspective.... you say you quit and go searching for a better game and you do find one, a CTF with a 10-0 and you join the wining team, but how will you feel if all the other players in the opposite team left, what happens then? Tanki isn't all about wining, you have to FIGHT, that is the purpose of the game, anyways. You don't have to win all the time, you have to lose to learn from it, get better tactics from the other players. And you can't be 100% sure your team is losing, a single player could change EVERYTHING I have personally seen entire games change just because a few weaker players left and stronger players join, games with 100 flags. Tbh, I played a game a few months back, a 50 flag CTF Silence game, we were getting rekt by the other team, I joined when the score was 20ish to nothing, I believe. We played, manged to get some caps and held up pretty good, but they kept capturing every so often, I thought of leaving soooooo many times but didn't, then comes this OP dude with Twins Viking both M2 and a ton of drugs, I stayed in that game for almost 3 HOURS fighting, capturing and healing when I got Isida, I used quite alot of drugs that game, mostly Double Damage, at the end, when we thought the game is a lose, we actually took over with this guy and got some nice fund. His name is GamerDoubleX, and he is an AWESOME guy, and I owe him alot  )))))

They stay in the battle because they don't give up . Today I was in a game and I joined the losing team 1-0 . With my help we captured 2 flags and made it 1-2 but then when some people quit 3 M2 thunders came and we got rekt until it was 4-2 . But then a miracle happened , a gold box fell . One smart guy in our team decided to leave the gold and go for the flag . He captured it and before the other team got reorganized we captured another flag and it was 4-4 . But we got rekt again until it was 7-4 but then another miracle happened , a M2 med kit and an M2 isida hornet joined . The M2 Med Kit was just staying in defence doing a great job but the isida was capturing the flags alone and it became 7-6 but then a M2 Dic Rico joined the other team and they were managing to hold us back . Two minutes left in the game and we still couldn't break through . But then 5 of us went on the flag and we managed to capture it and then it was 7-7 . We tried to win but we ran out of time but it was still worth it because I got a decent 250 crys . So I think that you should stay and fight with all your might till the end and you will get what you deserve.

Umm... I stay in those battles because playing Tanki isn't just about the individual battles: it's about career progression.

 

Winning battles (and crystals) is cool and all; but getting XP from a decent bodycount is more important in the long run.

 

So long as your KDR is above 1:1, then you're doing ok and it is worthwhile continuing. I'd leave a battle if I really couldn't keep things above that.

 

But since I'm always Mammoth-Thunder-Drugga... That's not normally a problem.

I think to understand your points and I can also agree on many of them...

My point remains that I'm here for the carrer, thus for POINTS.... and when you progress slowly because you're in weak team and you are alone vs. an army of MONSTERS... well I quit!  :rolleyes:

 

BTW.... I still have to figure out how it's possible that some players are invincible!

I mean Hunter Isida's  repeatedly hit by many M3 that DO NOT DIE (they blow up after many, many powerful hits)!  Only a matter of paints???

But this is a matter for another thread...  ;)

Ouch, that hurts, perhaps you ought to take a moment to have a breath. I'm assuming you feel either your own topic(s), or someone else's has been unfairly closed, and if that is the case, feel free to send myself a PM, or my Admin @Yele to have it fixed as soon as possible, the same goes for if you feel as though you've received an unfair ban. :) And I see no issue with this topic, nor has my colleague, hence why it remains open. @ugocon Just wants to bring something he's been noticing to the attention of other players, and I've never seen a rule where that's illegal, so I guess we can let this topic be. :D And finally, haha, nope, not kids, just to address that point. *chuckle*

Remember that not everyone is in your position. Probably you want to win crystals at the same time you win xp but there are buyers in this game and they only need to win xp because they have the crystals already. And yes, in long battles you win xp even if you're on the losing side (unless you're playing really bad). There's also that persons that got a lot of points and even on the losing side they will win a nice amount of crystals. Of course that there's also that epic games where you're winning 2-13 with the max flags in 15 and the other team wins 15-13 and, in that case the winning team still have some hope so they stay until the end.
