Two New Turrets - Thoughts?

Eh, Magnum, or whatever it's going to be named, seems kinda... idk... random, I guess. I'm not very interested in it right now. I'll see what happens when it comes out though.

 

The machine gun seems pretty interesting. It's probably going to be a major turret for parkour. :ph34r:

 

Do you have any thoughts on the soon-to-be-implemented turrets? (If you don't know about them, info can be found about them in the 24th and 25th episodes of the V-LOG.)

I feel that the new turrets will add to gameplay with more combos available.  It is nice that the Machine gun will self damage and so is still different than Twins.  I have heard that the Magnum seems to be like thunder and I disagree.  I mean, Thunder and Magnum both can hit multiple tanks at the same time, but Thunder is the only one that can hit an opponent around a corner.  I say that Thunder splashes damage while Magnum sprays it.

Thunder shoots a high explosive shell. The "Magnum" shoots grapeshot, or something like that. They are not the same. 

About the machine gun I think it will be overpowered against snipers because all you need to do is aim in their direction and hold down space. Even if you don't kill them you annoy the hell out of them with little shots pelting them and knocking their aim off. And you can watch the laser scope dance around :)

I just played on the test server and the shotgun is going to be called the Hammer, or that's what it was called in the test server. TBH its a very very powerful gun when used properly. With a double power on, it can destroy a titan up close in two shots, which can go off in a split second together. An interesting thing to note however is once you fire that third shot in the barrel, the hammer won't let u shoot until it completely reloads again, meaning if u fire the 3 shots all at once, you have to wait around 5-7 seconds. It is one of the more powerful weapons in the game. I think the ideal hull for the turret would be viking. Hunter is a bit too wavy and the hammer needs a steady hull to aim correctly. Hornet is very weak and can be killed instantly if faced with another hammer. Titan and Mammoth are ok, but since the Hammer is mainly a close range weapon, any opposing thunder, railgun, rico, or even twins could prove deadly. Its a very fun and tactical weapon but like rico, I think it will command much strategy to be used efficiently. Sure you can ring out 3 shots and destroy an enemy instantly, but after that, you're vulnerable for a relatively long period of time. The strategy would have to come into the timing of each shot as well as judgement in range and which enemy to target. The turret gives a rather poor sense of range and you don't really know how effective  the turret is at a farther distance. Its turning speed is also rather moderate. Overall, a very interesting and fun turret to use.

Yes... I think the Hammer is REALLY OP.

the machine gun sounds a little opede a rapped fire tank wow I know they got the twins but there is spaces in your health you can see it hit stop hit stop hit stop. The Machine gun will probably act like a loading screen were it goes down it will probably be the same amount of time as the reloading of rail gun so that's not going to be easy to kill. The diroscope affect is cool I like how instead of giving it bad accuracy like some games do (PS GATTLING GUNS ARE ACCTULY REALY ACCURATE)they give it very good accuracy like real life and it will be such a big help of the over usage of rail gun.

ho and I forgot to say don't by hammer its too opede image what m1 is like that will be a night mare when everyone has it and I say don't bye it because one less hammer means one less bad comment and one less person getting mad at tanki and one less person being unhappy when they di because of it and one step forward to a fare game but over all the guns good just don't buy it and make the game harder

Machinegun will be good there is no reload for those who hate waiting (like me). however the burning up effect could be annoying but that means mammoth and the machinegun should be a good guarding combo.

 

and when will there be an open testing for it I REALLY want to try it.

maybe it will be good for parkour. im hanging in there waiting for it to come...HURRY UP AND GET IT FINISHED TO STAFF!
