Tanki Online isn't just a time pass,it's lot more.Every battle we play,we meet new people and we make new friends.
Sometimes the battles become so intense that we least think that it's a virtual world and there are some who sacrifice themselves for the betterment of their team.They don't care,whether their D/L is going low or not,they just struggle and make their team win.If you've ever sacrificed your tank then this is the place to discuss your stories :)  :)  :)  :)  :)

 I have did these things many times and also have seen this,so I began this topic.
Once,I was playing on Highland CTF,both the teams were struggling for flags 'cause of the team's solid defense but time was lagging.I was on the 1st position in our team and smelling the danger,I paired with a player on 2nd position.We set ourselves for the worst,laden with drugs,entered the opponents base from the right and my mate took the flag.But this was not the end,we still needed to break their rear defense. Firebird M1 with Hunter M0,was my arsenal and when you have Double Damage you are just unstoppable.I,being able to have multiple tanks destroyed,layed the way for my mate. But they still had one rail and rico left,too with a DD drug.I had DA drug activated and then I took a U-turn and faced them alone to keep them distracted,while my mate delievers the flag.One shot of rail and a few from rico,made me demolish but my mate delievered the flag.Although,at the end I landed up at 2nd,I didn't care as I was satisfied with the thrill.

For defence I did sometimes.

Also for Flag capture, I sometimes prefer to stay at the enemy base because I use a kind of slow hull(Dictator) and this gives time.

I always take a hit for a some stranger who carries the flag, its teamwork, if you see you teammate just following you waiting for you to die then thats not teamwork.

i also sacrified myself many times bt u should only do that if there is team work bcoz if everyone is playing for themselves then that team ought to lose and ur sacrifice is just a waste ;)

That is what I did today. Unfortunately I was faced with being overwhelmed at times and had to fight back no matter what. Few support. I helped to pave a way for the team to get to the CP point, but still they take their time which was frustrating...Sucks to have 3 to 4 tanks using DD, DA and health packs whacking my tank every 2-3 minutes. :( :angry:

Every single time a teammate life is worth the 0,1% more than mine, in any possible way, like he's an isida, keeping a key point, placed some mines, carries the flag, is capturing a point, is killing a key enemy, he got a weaker protection paint from the current enemy... i end up shielding him with my tank. this is what i think team playing is. atleas that is how i play.

 

My level of rage goes to inhuman levels when the opposite happens: An enemy with 1 hitpoint left takes 3 supply boxes leaving me empity at full life, or taking a first aid box when he's full life or nearly-full while i'm being with a slice of life left... or when i'm playing isida, i'm badly damaged, and an enemy with a silver of damage takes the first aid from me anyway. Or when i'm being a key player dealing with half the enemy team and the isidas heal the nooby hornet running in circles... or i'm carrying a flag and someone does not try to protect me or does not even make way, and we end up losing the flag.
