Test the upcoming shotgun turret!

Well, the servers were really laggy and slow, and everyone was using this new turret, so it was hard to tell. But from what I could observe, it is terrible. I figure there will be marks on the opposing tankers tank to show if you shot it or not, becuase right now theres not much to show that. Other than that the recoil is crazy. And, as mentioned before, the name is pretty horrid IMO. I get this will probably not be the real version of it, but my first impression: not good. Not really saying bad work, because I like the concept of it and all. It just a terrible turret to me, so far. I do not enjoy that type of gameplay very much. That is why, I think the mingun will be much more enjoyable, because it seems like that gameplay is for me.

I think the Hammer's effectiveness should be weakened a bit BUT be given the ability to destroy mines in exchange.

 

I noticed that Hammer can leave impact marks on the ground - why not allow the Hammer to have a chance of  destroying mines since it is the only turret with a spray pattern to it?

The hammer gun is OP, it can kill an m3 fully MUed mammoth in < 5 shots. The 3 shot thing is good. But unless you are gonna nerf the Hammer, it's Rico's brother in OPness. <_<

Tested it. This gun is way too OP. This is ridiculous. With DP, you can one shot 3 hornets in a row.

 

Very good gun, but too strong.

Fully and completely agree.

The turret is balanced - OP damage is balanced by reload and recoil, learn how to use it and it can easily become the most powerful weapon in the battlefield.

 

Three things - 1. wtf is the picture for that gun??!!!

                       2. The M0 - M3 has no visual change

                       3. Please add more of a visual effect when the bullets hit another tank.

 

That's all I have to say from about 15 mins of testing...

No.. I used it against an m3 mammoth in 3 shots... Mammoth = the most powerul tank. :mellow:

Please Semyon, I call it. Semyon is gonna say: "After having some devs look over the comments we have reached the conclusion that the Devs have perfectly set the gun, and the damage is well set and balanced." No... Semyon the gun is way too OP wayyyy toooo much.

everyone stop complaining about it being so OP, you guys forgot that it will probobly have the strongest protection paints you guys ever seen ( "

 

 

Good for Thunder users.

I have a feeling after this turret enters he game:

 

A. It will be nerfed.

B. Many people will buy Paint for it.

 

Or both.

Most likely the paints that offer worthwhile protection will be expensive and out of the price range of players who don't buy crystals.

close range, it is power, 2 shots kill hornet.

 

but if it miss the shot, it is dead.

 

since I played against it, most time, they missed 2 shots against fast moving hornet.

 

and I feel the gun has a tendency to shoot over head, and miss the shots.

Tried and TRIED all day to go and test and has always been the same outcome..password is incorrect...Yet ANOTHER pipe dream and a huge let down as always..Sadly I was actually gonna purchase crys to take full advantage of this update.Obviously that would be pointless to support the mods/devs since they dont support their gamers/clients..We are customers, not a "hobby" or random yard sale lookey loo'er..Even been waiting almost 4 wks on a technical support response.

So pretty much as soon as the world learns Russia will be entering a RECISSION at the start of 2015 u guys take away the crystal drops,ah ha and right before the company wins the russian sector of internet gaming(Bold move yet really cheap),cool;then enter the night maps and laser sight for shaft....uhhhh ok(yawns)cool?..Now you release a stupid shotgun so we all forget the days this game deserved the most prestigious awards available and make false promises we can all test it openly and feed the cypher of development..No discount or MachineGun testing as well? C'mon guys your the best at what you do and can blow our minds with ease.maybe open a thread to users future ideas of development,there could be some great ideas out there that havnt been considered..Lets see a Heck of a 2015!!

New hammer a.k.a shotgun is good & different. but its short range like thunder and after 3 shots reload time is almost like shaft m2. The effects and impact on hitting tank is minimal on screen, so hard to judge u hit it or not ! With drugs it could be major turret in game for sure.

Ahhh... at last servers start working after huge overload!

 

I am going to make some changes to Hammer and then we will restart the servers.

Things to change are follow:

  • Damage is way to high, agreed. Its going down.
  • But full clip reload time is going to be faster.
  • Recoil and Impact will be reduced slightly

I am going to test it out more and

 

It would be good to see when the shotgun shoots, maybe put tracers after it shoots so we can see them better?
