Test the upcoming shotgun turret!

well the hammer (BETTER NAME IS SPITTER IMO) is underwhelming.

I know the look is changing from the last v log but the power is not equal to rail at close range as previously told

 

reload is slow, which doesn't make sense for a magazine weapon 

thanks for chance on test server (MY FIRST TIME)

So disappointed in this gun. Very underpowered with little to no recoil. In the test server for the gun NOBODY was using the gun, they all went back to the old turrets . That is an epic fail for a test of a new and exciting weapon. so far this gun is a flop......... <_< keep working on it guys. it needs more range, more punch and more BOOM in the sound of the shot. I was using m3 turret and not impressed. This sounds more like a cash register than a weapon..... :lol:

its starts to load then slows down then it just stops loading completely, so now i guess i cant test the turret. 

 

nvm i got it to work.

  • Model is going to be changed. You might know it by videoblog :)
  • Garage icon will be changed as soon as new model will be ready. Obviously.
  • Pellet hit will be more visible and will use longer animation.
  • Reload sound will be added to indicate the moment when gun is ready to open fire.

I have tested the Hammer and it feels like you're shooting loose rounds, when you hit somebody it doesn't look like you hit somebody. (sorry for bad english)

Hey, tankers!

 

Work on the new turrets is in full swing! Today, for the first time ever, you can try out the Shotgun turret for yourselves and help us polish it to perfection.

 

The shotgun has 3 rounds in its clip. Reloading starts once you've unloaded all 3 of them. The gun can deal damage to several tanks at once with its scatter shot. Each of these will receive damage according to the number of pellets hitting it. Its close-range impact force, as well as its clip reload time, can be compared to that of a Railgun. The timing between shots is comparable to Smoky's.

 

Of course, the parameters as currently set on the test servers are not final. We are doing our best to make sure the shotgun turret fit the current arsenal of weapons as perfectly as possible, in terms of its balance, role on the battlefield and of course the emotion it gives you. What we need now is your feedback to make sure we are on the right track.
