Parkour Fighting

Parkour Fighting is the usage of parkour to get advantage in battles.

You can use parkour to get many advantages in battles. For example: shortcuts, good sniping spots and other defensive/offensive positions, avoiding short-range weapons, getting on better spots for keeping the flag safe, ambushing enemies from unexpected places, escaping enemies, and even catching gold boxes easily.

Parkour fighting can be divided to two levels: Solo Parkour Fighting and Team Parkour Fighting.

Solo Parkour Fighting

This is the level that requires the most skill because your team will not help you when you play in a random battle with no friends. You have to rely on your skill only. There are 2 things you can do:

OMP - climb what you can climb alone. Or use random players (both team mates and enemies) for parkour.

A list of ways to use random players for parkour:

  • Drive up a ramp when other tank comes from above to go down the ramp, make sure to go in the right timing so the other tank will bump you.
  • Flip an enemy or find a flipped team mate and push him towards an object you want to climb, then get on him and use his explosion (when he self destructs) to climb the object you want. This method only helps to get on small objects.
  • Use enemies that shoot you to jump. For example, if an enemy with Railgun is standing on a ramp, stand above him and make yourself an easy target. He will shoot you and you can shoot at the same time too and you'll get high enough to jump on a small house.
  • Instead of avoiding mines to not take damage, use the mines to jump.
  • Push a team mate with Hornet and Railgun, sometimes they will push you back and shoot you. Use this moment - go back a bit, shoot forward and drive forward again to get on him as he shoots you. Sandwich trick! You are more likely to succeed when there is a wall behind your team mate that will prevent him from going back.

Team Parkour Fighting

This one requires is easier because your team will help you and you won't have to try to force anyone to help you. But it requires more ability to work in a team. You can still use your solo parkour fighting skills, you still have enemies to use for parkour. A well organized parkour fighters team consists of players who climb stuff and players who help them to climb everything they need to.

A list of roles in a team of parkour-fighters:

Runner - A fast player that uses solo parkour-fighting tricks (not always, only if it really helps him) to move around the territory of the enemies and attack. Runners sometimes use midfield Helpers to start the attack from an unexpected place.

Camper - A player that gets on a house or other good sniping position and just camps there. Usually Campers need help to climb to a good spot, but sometimes they can climb it alone or help each other. Defensive Campers with shaft sometimes also work as support snipers to help other Campers jump to their place.

Helper - A player that helps his team mates to get on places. Helpers can also be Runners or just normal offensive/defensive/midfield fighters that don't necessarily use parkour. Defensive Helpers usually defend the flag and help Campers to get to their defensive positions in the base. Midfield Helpers usually wait in spots where Runners need help, and kill enemies when there's no Runner that needs help around. Offensive Helpers are almost the same as Runners, but they sometimes have slower hulls like dictator, they focus on fighting around spots that Runners use a lot. Offensive helpers also help Runners to get the flag more easily and escape with it faster.

Runners don't always use parkour or Helpers, many times they just fight normally. With all the cool suff parkour fighting can do, a team still needs normal fighters to capture flags, return flags and kill players that hide from the campers.

How about the tricks used in team parkour fighting? It all depends on what you want to climb, you can use all tricks except for mine jumps (sometimes even MJs are possible because enemies can leave mines). Helpers usually use Hornet and Railgin which is the best thing for many parkour tricks, so you can climb pretty much everything.

Of course you don't HAVE to organize a whole team of parkour fighters, you can join a normal battle with one or few friends and have a lot of fun there too! :)

I was interviewed abut parkour fighting for the newspaper, I recommend you to read the interview because I answer there the questions you probably have after reading this topic.

Feel free to post here your own parkour fighting videos and screenshots. Please help me make the art of parkour fighting more popular. Parkour fighting adds a very fun and challenging aspect to the game. I will be very happy if one day I'll join a random battle and will get wrecked by an awesome team of parkour fighters! :D

Why not editing your main topic? Words aren't really helpful, if you want a successful guide make a video guide. Thats the best.

Reserved for parkour-fighting guides!

I will make video guides, and there will be one for each map so I need a new topic for it.

In the parkour dictionary topic I only explain what everything is and give one or few examples, and I'll upload there a short parkour-fighting video too. But in this topic I explain it in detail because this is too big to just be added to the parkour dictionary entry.

I think that this is a very bad  Idea - If you will be recorded while parking you may be banned - sabotage . It doesn't matter what do you after the parkour.

Im warning you don't take a chance about your account and other players.

and thanks to the next updates - parkour in normal battles ( CTF,TDM.CP) will be agaisnt the rules But even now Parkour in team-battles is against the rules. Thanks !

Be careful !

I think it's fine because in my case it only takes 3 seconds to climb somewhere so it doesn't waste any time and then I keep fighting normally. I saw few posts in the game violators section where players were standing on roofs of houses and they didn't get banned and the mod said it's just parkour so it's fine.

I also sent them a video to report a cheater that jumped to where I got up with parkour:

And this is the result:

I might still talk to someone to make sure I won't get banned if someone will see me on a place where they don't expect a player to climb using parkour in a normal battle. Thanks for the warning anyway.
