Hello fellow Tankers!

After seeing the latest V-LOG I had an idea that I wanted to run by you.

The machine gun has the unique feature that it allows you to control the tank independently from the tank, due to the gyroscopic effect of the rotating turret.

My question to you is: Should Tanki add the feature to all the guns and add a button on the settings that allows you to turn the feature on and off?

All guns could be controlled independently from the tank, unless it is centered by pressing "C".

The feature could be disabled from the settings dialog box.

I don't feel it's going to be comfortable to play like that. Besides, all current players are used to the existing system, so only new player will try the new one. Another problem is that it will mean that turrets will only turn with the rotating speed stated in the garage, which is a huge disadvantage for slow rotating turrets like railgun, shaft and thunder. If before I could speed up the rotation by rotating my hull as well as turret in the same direction (which can more than double the speed), then with your suggestion the turret rotation will just be too slow.

 

And despite the fact that Tanki Online is an arcade and not a real life simulator, I'd still like to point out that a gun independent of the gull is rather unrealistic...

that's why you have an on/off button.

 

True, True, but fun nonetheless. I think it could be very helpful in different situations. I would also promote a different playing style and strategy.

I'm pretty sure the current system is more comfortable. People simply won't use the new option. We'll see how easy the machine gun will be to use once it comes out...
