well say that this teacher finds that after those 4 months, 90% of it is crap and throws it in the bin. thats how we feel, unfortunately we dont have a say. and over here, we know that tanki has potential to make good update based on OUR feedback, and when they dont, it gets us pissed

Sorting > Map Name > Battle Type > Duration > Time Remaining

Do not sort Pro battles. Just indicate them normally.

Add a space for custom name

Add ranks allowed in the battle.

 

May be even add a Sun, Moon, Snowflake for the modes Summer, Winter and Night.

 

Highlight all games. Even the games where there is no space to join.

If you take the highlight off games with no space then the layout looks blotchy.

The numbers tell us when there is space.

 

During battle creation, add a checkbox for parkour and xp battles.

Add these to the list and display an icon in the same way for Pro Battles.

 

Keep the filter and add to it.

 

 

I would appreciate feedback from devs/staff/players.

Thanks. I have lots of them.

I would have been playing for 2 years come the end of this month and I've seen a slow but steady progression of tanki devs trying to listen more to us and learning from past mistakes. I'm not sure the EN community carries much weight though. It's still very much a Russian game and I'm sure they will always come first in terms of game direction.

When I click on EN1 to EN10, I find that sometimes the lists will be empty, void of life, which is a sad indictment in terms of player retention after players hit

Yep, they made a lot of good updates: Smart Cooldown supplies, the end of team neglecting crystalgrabbing, nightmode etc.

 

Removing Private Battles isn 't one of them though, more about this after the next more or less solved XP issue:

 

 

With this announcement they will fix the XP/BP issue of nameless battles. Even better XP finally becomes official! :wub:

sort of hurry?

Maybe this has a lot to do with the introduction of Unity? When they introduce this I can imagine they don 't want to be

busy with updates or even have the time for them.

Also us Tankers won 't like a transition to Unity that gets troubled with ungoing updates.

My feeling is they want to have the game is some sort of end state just before Unity and that 's why all these updates come this fast.

A bit too fast for a vast majority I guess. Just (try to) hang on! ;)

 

 

                                                 Private Battles

 

Allthough I think most decisions/updates they made are good or at least good enough for now I believe they are

making a grave mistake regarding the Private Battles.

 

Private battles were used by high ánd low rankers to do parkour, clan or private trainings, rank-up parties or just to make a battle

with some friends.

Private battles were accessible for everyone no matter the content of your wallet or the amount of crystals you had earned.

 

Private battles were one of the best ways to socialize in Tanki Online.

A very nice possibility this game offered for especially low to middle rank players.

They often lack the crystals to get a Pro battle pass and if they do they are compromising the crystal amount they are

(and should be) saving for getting new equipment and paints.

 

The least Tanki can do to show it 's good will and maybe even more so to help promote the Pro Battle pass,

they so clearly want us to use: is to adapt the price according to rank.

A sergeant shouldn 't have to pay 5000 crystals for Pro Battles of his rank that don 't even exist at this moment...

 

Below Brigadier a Pro Battle pass isn 't worth it right now, a low-ranker won 't find enough Pro Battles

to be interested in getting it again a next time.

The only exception will be in XP/BP which can be played well with some proper skills and IMO M2 equipment. 

A First Lieuenant can perform well in XP.

But a Pro Battle pass should not be an XP/BP pass or am I wrong?

 

Even better it would be, that this wrong desicision in many Tankers views gets reverted.

 

If even the helpers start to protest TO should realize I guess something is going wrong here...

Sentences like "The changes made are largely based on your feedback" are always right btw.

Does largely mean something like 51% of feedback, and also feedback on which of several topics?

One thing is sure removing the Private Battle option will be close to 0% of your Tankers feedback.

 

The game becomes simply pretty plain without the Private Battle option.

Removing it 's significant socializing effect, which promotes TO underneath especially new players

is something TO seems to be confident about that it can 't do any harm.

 

We, if I may speak for a vast majority of Tankers: don 't agree.

Man, the developers are really ruining the game in these last few updates. No more XP. Snipers have been demoted. No more parkour battles. If you (developers) want the update to succeed, introduce new maps named Parkour and XP or whatever.

I dislike this update. Now I can't chose between the battle type anymore (CTF, TDM, DM and CP). I use to play TDM (Team death match) the most becuase I level up on that gamemode faster than anything else in the game becuase it's easier to earn XP, even tough I got a Score Multiplier Pass that increases my recieved XP by 30%...
