All my hope is gone.

Final straw.

You just killed parkour, rank ups, mine hunts, and other fun things that were keeping me in this game.

I literally have no more motivation to play... I wanted M2 Wasp but my parkour team that i have worked so hard on will not be able to meet due to this utterly stupid decision to limit private battles. If I can't use my M2 Wasp to parkour, it's not worth it to rank by Christmas. If it's not worth it to rank by Christmas, I might as well leave now!

 

I can't believe this, but this might just be farewell. Tanki is becoming a last resort in times of insane boredom...

It's 120% incorrect! Why you people think that YOU know all about Tanki and you are the best humans in the world, eh? Devs are too humans and they listen us, but you only shout and write bad critic! Next time think what you write on your message  :angry:

we are kinda like critics! because the players get to decide in the end or tanki loses popularity. in the beginning we used to tell other friends about the amazingness of the game, but now we just don't bother. whenever random polls come up, we aren't obliged anymore to say tanki is amazing....

i understand that the TO admins are only human, but before working themselves out to bring such a painful update, they should have at least confided in them before making the update LIKE THIS! now they have the choice to go through the trouble again to revert the update, or leav it as it is and bring upon the wrath of the players... i mean why didnt they at least make a testing of this first?

also^ smaller ranks and medium ranks take up a HUGE space in the game (with more being recruited through the spread of word), so tanki would be smart to listen to them too! you dont see most because they probably dont even know that a forum like this exists

I mean seriously we cant even properly organize clan trainings because private battles are taken away from us. (buying a pro battle pass for 5k is not as easy as it seems in my rank). Idk whether you are one of those attention seekers out there who seek for the attention they don't get in real life over the internet and idc about it but stop just stop flaming this entire thread by going against everyone's views and opinions...

Your rank is not meant to be in a clan, it is in the clan rules. Lowed rank to make a clan is Major or is it Colonel I guess.

Yep, they made a lot of good updates: Smart Cooldown supplies, the end of team neglecting crystalgrabbing, nightmode etc.

 

Removing Private Battles isn 't one of them though, more about this after the next more or less solved XP issue:

 

 

With this announcement they will fix the XP/BP issue of nameless battles. Even better XP finally becomes official! :wub:

 

It would have been a lot more convenient if this was already realized before this update, but TO seems to be in some

sort of hurry?

Maybe this has a lot to do with the introduction of Unity? When they introduce this I can imagine they don 't want to be

busy with updates or even have the time for them.

Also us Tankers won 't like a transition to Unity that gets troubled with ungoing updates.

My feeling is they want to have the game is some sort of end state just before Unity and that 's why all these updates come this fast.

A bit too fast for a vast majority I guess. Just (try to) hang on! ;)

Allthough I think most decisions/updates they made are good or at least good enough for now I believe they are

making a grave mistake regarding the Private Battles.

 

Private battles were used by high ánd low rankers to do parkour, clan or private trainings, rank-up parties or just to make a battle

with some friends.

Private battles were accessible for everyone no matter the content of your wallet or the amount of crystals you had earned.

 

Private battles were one of the best ways to socialize in Tanki Online.

A very nice possibility this game offered for especially low to middle rank players.

They often lack the crystals to get a Pro battle pass and if they do they are compromising the crystal amount they are

(and should be) saving for getting new equipment and paints.

 

The least Tanki can do to show it 's good will and maybe even more so to help promote the Pro Battle pass,

they so clearly want us to use: is to adapt the price according to rank.

A sergeant shouldn 't have to pay 5000 crystals for Pro Battles of his rank that don 't even exist at this moment...

 

Below Brigadier a Pro Battle pass isn 't worth it right now, a low-ranker won 't find enough Pro Battles

to be interested in getting it again a next time.

The only exception will be in XP/BP which can be played well with some proper skills and IMO M2 equipment. 

A First Lieuenant can perform well in XP.

But a Pro Battle pass should not be an XP/BP pass or am I wrong?

 

Even better it would be, that this wrong desicision in many Tankers views gets reverted.

 

If even the helpers start to protest TO should realize I guess something is going wrong here...

Sentences like "The changes made are largely based on your feedback" are always right btw.

Does largely mean something like 51% of feedback, and also feedback on which of several topics?

One thing is sure removing the Private Battle option will be close to 0% of your Tankers feedback.

 

The game becomes simply pretty plain without the Private Battle option.

Removing it 's significant socializing effect, which promotes TO underneath especially new players

is something TO seems to be confident about that it can 't do any harm.

 

We, if I may speak for a vast majority of Tankers: don 't agree.

If I go in ideas and suggestions and put a post which the developers think is a good idea, they will take it. Me=A person giving idea, or say feedback (Not really ;)) so they will improve what I said, 3-4 people might've agreed to what I've said and then they added it saying it ws on our feedback.

true, but the reason why they say that is pretty obvious, and the reasons are mentioned by other players too!

I'm not totally against it, I look at the bright side, the 5 good updates instead of the 1 bad update. The bad update is not a problem for me at all, there isn't a minute my pro pass isn't bought by me, I but it every month. Just the bad thing for small ranks. It's just private battles really shouldn't be pro as for the smaller ranks can't afford a PRO pass.

TankiOnline just deleted all kind of 'community' for Low Rank, I means :party for Rank Up, Clan battle, Clan training ... personally I don't care: I don't have a PROpass, because I don't like PRO battle, but I can afford this if I want.

At least with smart cooldowns the complaints against drugging existed.

Well you see how they added an option to remove Smart Cooldowns in PRO  battle. It was a suggestion from a normal player given in the same kind of topic as this. 

 

I think the battle list is good enough.
