Playing with shaft seems to be easy.But in reality its not that easy.Shaft users mostly have 1 problem that they don't get a good place for camping.Most of the players in tanki hate shaft.Very easily you can see people getting annoyed with shaft.If this gun is in the hands of a skillful person then he can change the battle but if its in the hands of a new person, then he is going to ruin his tank.Today in this topic I am going to tell you about How to use SHAFT in SILENCE.So lets begin with Red Team.
 
Red Team:-
 
Red team is only having 4 good snipping places for SHAFT but they are quite enough.
 
Spot No. 1

 
This place is on the extreme left end of the bridge behind your team flag.Its a good place for a shaft with a heavy hull.From here, you can easily snipe upto opponent's team ramp and the place where you can see their flag.These 2 places are most frequently visited by the opponent team so the chance of getting kills is quite high.
 
Rate of killing opponents: 8/10
Chances of getting killed:4/10
Hull preferred:Most heavy but light and medium would also work.
Overall Rating:9/10
 
Spot No. 2

 
Not one of my favorite places. Your chances of getting killed is quite high here and low rate of killing.This is a intermediate place for a shaft.You can get kills easily but you would also get killed easily here.
 
Rate of killing opponents: 7/10
Chances of getting killed:7/10
Hull preferred:Get heavy hull to stay for long time.However light hull would also work,just shoot someone and run! then get reloaded and come back again.
Overall Rating:6/10
 
Spot No. 3

A good place for shaft..The only problem is that your tank is quite exposed but that's not a huge problem just take a heavy hull and kill opponents before respawning.It would be very good if you have a isida as your friend who can heal you after 4 or 5 minutes.

Hull preferred:Mammoth.

Spot No. 4

Its the place where those two ramps meet.(near the tunnel).If you just lay a mine on the ramp behind you then its one of the safest places.A place for getting a good amount of kills.
 
Rate of killing opponents: 8/10
Chances of getting killed:4/10(if you lay a mine then 3/10)
Hull preferred:Heavy and Medium.
Overall Rating:8.5/10
 
These were the places for red team.Now it comes for the blue team.
 
Blue Team:-
 
According to me blue team is also having only 4 good places for snipping.
 
Spot No. 1

Its a good place for snipping.It would be good to use a hull whose turrent position is at it end not at its center.E.g. mammoth.

Chances of getting killed:3/10
Hull preferred:Mammoth or Dictator
Overall Rating:7.5/10
 
Spot No. 2
This snipping place is near the base and hence easy to reach.Covers a wide range of enemy base but again the only problem is that your tank is exposed.
 
Rate of killing opponents: 9/10
Chances of getting killed:5/10
Hull preferred:Mammoth or Titan
Overall Rating:8/10
 
Spot No. 3

 
The spot is safe.Your chances of getting killed is low but the chances of getting kills is very.This is the way of your teammates to enter enemy base so they many a times push you which irritates a lot.

Chances of getting killed:3/10
Hull preferred:Any except wasp
Overall Rating:5/10
 
 
Spot No. 4

This is the snipping place in the tunnel in the right side. Both chances of getting killed and getting kills is high but its fun snipping here.

Chances of getting killed:5/10
Hull preferred:Mammoth or Titan
Overall Rating:6/10

May I suggest a BIG Red Arrow hoovering in the sky, straight above and pointing downwards at the camping Shaft?

 

It may be accompanied with the text: "here he is..." but that isn 't really neccesary I guess.

I have another sniping spot for shaft scilence blue team.

you go to spot number three and using a ligh hull you turn right and drive out on the ledge

 

it is a very good place for sniping if you use 2 times power but you don't have to. it is best if you lchange your paint to blend in with you surroundings note it works best with hornet because it also points the turret down it should work with wasp but it would not work as well also you can't use medium or heavy hulls only light hulls.

 

chances of killing opponents 10/10

chances of getting killed depends on if you are aware of you surroundings

hull prefered only works with light hulls

note you are very exposed and this spot is only for very good snipers if the other team is swarming all over you side then no spots will work.

unless I use 2 times damage in which case I shoot you first it even lets me kill mamoths unless they have 2 times armor

Excellent... although i have to say that Red team sniping 1 and Blue 3 is easy to hit each other, I once dueled a Shaft with my Shaft like that...  I won of course :P
