How to Keep the losing players from leaving game

The most anoying thing about Tanki is when your in an intense game and as soon as your team has a setback players get angry and leave.

 

Maybe there could be a penalty such as lose of crystals in a players account equal to the crystals they have gained in the said game? Or lose so many crytals for each minute they weren't there.

 

Maybe instead of losing crystals if you leave, there could be a bonus for staying the whole game ?

 

IDK what would work best but something HAS to be DONE about this

People should have the right to leave battles without loss. You say that there needs to be a bonus for staying the whole battle, well there is - the prize in the end. If you play the whole game you get more crystals for the XP you earned, while if you leave you basically just got XP and no crystals for it. If you keep leaving battles before they end, you'll just end up ranking up and having not enough crystals to get better equipment - that's your penalty and I think it's more than enough.

What happens if a player leaves because their browser crashes, their ISP suddenly has a problem, or there's a power outage at home?

 

I think the "leaving" problem is worse since crystal drops were eliminated.
