A solution to spam-joining/leaving battles

This happens especially in 2 or 3 players Death Matches; a player joins and plays normally until he's hit, that's when he leaves and rejoins immediately and continue playing until he's hit again --->leave--->rejoin, etc.

I suggest making a time constraint that doesn't allow a player to rejoin a battle he just left before a certain time has passed -just like changing gear in battle-.

Another solution -that solves other problems as well- is enabling players when creating battles to block certain players from joining their battles -without the need for Pro passes-.

Why is it a problem? When they leave the battle they lose al their kills, so there's no way they can use it to their advantage. The only way re-joining can be useful it when you turn over on your roof and re-join to avoid waiting 10 seconds for self-destruct. It's prohibited in professional clan battles, but normal players don't use this tactic.

It's prohibited in professional clan battles, but normal players don't use this tactic.

the advantage is time gained, when you leave a battle just to change tank you save yourself 15mins. On the other side of the story that player who has collected a higher score has to change tactics to the new tank the other player just switched to. And because he has a higher score he cant leave, so he changes tanks 15min timer starts. And the other player leaves to change tank once again. Now the player with the higher score is stuck with that tank for the next 15mins. Which is more than enough time to close the gap between the two players scores. 

 

This can easily be fixed with a timer, 2 mins for the first time, 3 mins for the second, etc. Now if they left red team to switch to blue it could be less, say like 30 secs

 

Also that last solution he suggested, kinda iffy cause then players would just block those that present a potential threat to their battles. It would make far more sense if that was part of pro battles as those are less frequent that regular battles, even then it could still be abused so IDK about that suggestion

And the disadvantage is the score lost. I think it's a fair trade as it is now.

The problem is when the abusing player just joins and leaves repeatedly without playing, he just occupies a place of another player without contributing to battle; and they even follow me when I create another battle in another server, it's like their purpose is trolling. Of course it only annoys in small battles you'd say, but I like the simplicity of small DM battles (2 or 3 players) and find big DM battles too chaotic. Anyway, to each his opinion and thank you all.

When losing team members leave the game. That is the worst part of Tanki.

 

Pathetic really

 

I offer a simple solution--------  if one joins a game and leaves, make them wait till that battle is over before they can join any battle or return to the same battle.

 

Make it not worth leaving, except for the few mornons who enjoy ruining the game.

 

Please authorities of Tanki I beg you to do somthing about this..

They occupy a place in a game with 2-3 players? :P

I believe this case is rare to see, I have never seen such actions.

Yeah, mults are a problem. Although even if you add a penalty for multing, the person, who owns the mult is probably playing from their main account for the other team and they throw the mult into your team to lower your total number of active players and therefore decrease your team's strength. That kind of mult will purposefully have 0 crystals so that there is no penalty for exiting and re-entering the battle, unless they go into negative crystals (but then that account can be infinitely used for multing). Taking away their XP won't work as that can be easily abused to get better equipment at lower ranks.
