More updates to the battle list

I wrote something soooooo long, and when I press backspace the page goes to the previous page. Irritating right. All I said was I don't have anything to argue with the Xp thing as when I started XP, not much people knew about XP so I don't have the experience of having to buy PRO pass at small ranks.

 

And second that they release and update because it's good in their view. But they read the feedback and improve it. They can't just leave a bad update, they have to read the comments and improve it. We are listened too, as I said not all are greedy for money, some do jobs for fun, passion, and their hobbies. Semyon is just a person who talks to us, all people in the EN community are his job.

I'm not particularly impressed with the way this game is being played lately... Not only is becoming hard to accomplish something... Other players are becoming increasingly unfair. But I do not want to talk about this in this thread. When I has patience maybe I open a thread to express my experience and point of view...

 

I do have some good ideas, at least I think they are good ideas, that come to me after three particularly not enjoyable games in a row... but I do not know if I should express them...  oooh hell. I do not feel like I'm going with TO as much as I could or like it to. So I guess I'll stay in the game just for a run once in a while.   :-D

That way I can watch the game evolution, if there is any to be watched, for free players.

Now is more slow to find what you like.(maps and mode) Yes is good idea to have below the 4 small icons with the modes but if i like only 3 maps and i want to play in ONLY that 3 maps how to see in the maps what mode is inside if i have selected all 4 modes?

I want to search more FAST what map i like and mode , and if i don't find what i like in server number 1 i want to go to search in server number 2,3,4 etc...

And about the crystals boxes, is more good to give more rewards in battle than to go and take 10 crystals, and if i play team death match so many players don't fight , enter in the game only for collect the boxes. That is awesome update !!!

 

 

What i will say next, many players will thing I'm bad but only I'm sincerely. I really don't have time to read the forum or to make comments to have more post, I do not care these things, I make this post ONLY to be more easy and fast to search what maps or mode you like for your RANK or close to your rank.

Dear TO developers

before the update whenever my friends entered battle, that battle used to go to the top of my battle list in lobby. so it was easy to me and all other friends to find and enter that battle fast(before someone else took our place) now the battles dont go to the top of list wich makes it harder to find and by the time you find it, some1 else allready enterted it and then we have to recreate battle.

 

also i didnt mind seeing battles wich are not to my rank. this also helped when friend used to enter battle and told  us in skype to join him we could see that he is in battle wich is not for our rank so we all went to other battle together. while now when 1 enters and others cant join we keep scrolling list to find where 1st friend enetered only to realise a while after that that battle is not for us.

i think u get my point. pls change this back to how it was.

Battle info in the list has been changed. Now, it combines the functionality of the updated version with the traditional layout, including the pre-update abbreviations for battle modes.

On a final note, we’ll soon be implementing support for format battles as an experimental feature in PRO battles. At first, we will be supporting the most popular formats, which are Hornet and Railgun, Wasp and Railgun, and Parkour. Depending on the popularity of the feature, and a number of other criteria, we’ll decide whether we should continue to develop it.

 

Did you forgot Smoky ? I am not sure but I saw some player with Hornet + Smoky on Pro battle  ... I am wrong ?

I have a suggestion: you can allow Hornet + Wasp, Railgun + Smoky ... and let the players choose their combination

A decent improvement from the last update. I enjoy the battle filters. XP and Parkour modes will be nice when I get a PRO pass as a daily bonus (I'm not wasting my saved up crystals for a pass). Now we just need private battles to be normal again...

1. Have the another method to name maps, particularly in the event of clan wars and tournaments

Format battles in Pro battles + Pro battles not free ======> useless update

Exactly. Tanki screwed up in this update because of this.

First of all... I do not take part in long battles. I usually WOULD (can't anymore *UGHHH*) enter 3-13 minute battles on average. We want CUSTOM TIME LIMITS, CUSTOM DESTROY/POINT/FLAG limits, and etc.

Second of all, we want our custom names back. Even though they may be inappropriate, we want them back. Add a "report battle name" button.

Third... I love how battles are sorted. But I do want grayed out battles back, because sometime they give me ideas for the future, and its neat to see what higher or lower ranks play too.

Lastly...I love the new format battle thing. Maybe add a racing mode (no pvp) but make the good stuff NON-PRO again. Not everyone wants that. Tanki is free to play, but the PRO battle pass is the closest thing to membership pass, and you are now discriminating against "non members."

He is right, but I want crystal boxes back. Sometimes I don't have time to finish a battle and don't want to piss my mom off, so I have to quit. 15 minutes of Hard Work is lost. Because of some farmer noobs who a special vote command could have been added for.

Alright Semyon Kirov, Tanki developers, and tanki CEOs who actually make the decisions.

I have read about the recent updates as much as I could and I am now prepared to write.

 

PRIVATE BATTLES and the REMOVAL OF 500 CRYSTAL FEES FOR SINGLE PRO BATTLES:

 

I would like to reference DidYouKnowThat's post, which made it very clear that putting private battles into the payed pro-battle category is a RESTRICTION and not a SOLUTION. I highly doubt that you can give me proof of players raising a hue and cry about privates battle ruining tanki. In fact, free private battles were one of the most useful and appealing features to low ranked start up clans, parkourists, tankers who preferred playing with friends, and mid-ranked players trying out formats for the first time.

 

 

Now players must pay 5000 crystals a month to take part in private battles. This is especially bad for clans who need to practice without interference. While I myself can afford a pass each month, several of my starladder tournament excluded players, (m2 rail is my minimum requirement) cannot afford to spend 5000 a month to practice or participate in a war when that is almost equal the amount they get each month. The 500 crystal fee WAS affordable, yet for no stated reason at all you have removed this helpful and flexible feature.

 

In short, free private battles previously had unanimous player approval, and the choice to charge for them has been received with almost unanimous disapproval. This leads me to ask. Why, what are your reasons for this?

 

I FORMALLY REQUEST FOR YOU THE TANKI STAFF TO STATE THE REASONS FOR THIS CHANGE.

 

NAMES OF BATTLES and FORMATS IN GENERAL:

I greatly appreciate the planned implementation of built in format controls for the XP format, but I cannot fully enjoy it unless you plan to continue adding formats. My suggested format would be the 6 vs 6 LIGHT format . the one that allows 5 rails and one smoky for each team, and is the official clan war format of Starladder . Names like "light hulls only" or "smokies only" introduce new formats.

Why don't you limit the higher rank battles? W5 should not be in with Generalissimos. It should be Major and up. Otherwise you get a lot of mults and M1 cannot compete with M3. When you are winning a battle invariably 2 or three M1 tanks get in and you have no chance anymore.

i play with my genralisimo friends and i do fine so i think that people under major can compete

I know it's not entirely impossible. I've done it before when I was that sort of rank. Except I had Isida to keep my teammates alive and a ton of drugs to capture flags. . .

 

But I'd like to know what you mean when you say that you do "fine."

Anyway, here's the "traditional" list:

M1 Wasp and M1 Hornet: Max 30% protection, this means anything Tundra and below.

M2 Wasp and M2 Hornet: Max 20% protection, this means Sandstone/Savanna and below.

M3 Wasp- Forester, Corrosion, or Emerald. Anything less than 10% would be fine too, like Dirty.

M3 Hornet- No protection paints against Railgun allowed.

Well in parkour mode dieing (for me) is annoying so maybe you can on SD and not kill others. Also you shouldn't be able to earn XP in parkour mode.  ;)

M1 Wasp with Digital and certainly Tundra is killed by one shot from a M3 Rail on occasion. 30% is definitely not enough. Prodigi makes it a 2-shot-kill every time.
