My friend is marshall and still uses m1 railgun :lol:

You can use whatever you want to use. There is no rule saying you can't use a M1 at your rank.

Yes and no. M2-m3 rail is best. but m1 at your rank isnt bad ;)

I meant like is it worth it, I don't want to use a gun that will take a lot of ammo to deal with my rank. @TheKillerPenguin

but i recommend using your m2 freeze to earn crystal quicker and buy m2 rail after u able to.

Well, I don't think you'll be so welcomed in XP battles with higher ranks... But other than that, it's fine - just start getting some M2s.

IMO its not good because you are down in stats for that turret, simple as that. Kind of why people want to continue and go up a 'm' upgrade

That being said, it doesnt mean you wont get kills, just expect more players doing the same thing to get more kills and less deaths than you.

 

Also at those ranks which unlock the next 'm' upgrade, your like at your highest advantage because

 

1. not that many players have the right amount of crystals needed to buy it

2. Its higher in stats that its previous, that means it'll hit harder, faster, or take more damage if its a hull

3. its simply the newest variable, if your opponents have never fought it before your at the advantage

 

This is why its important to save crystals

 

Last this is just speaking in general terms, Yes I understand that there a certain few which can prove these wrong, but in a average players eyes these are key

:lol: I had m0 rail in second leitenant. I change to m1 but didnt like it still. Once I went to m2 I like it and made it m3 xD. I think m2 rail is the start of seing the beauty of railgun

M0 is bad, M1 Smoky and M1 Firebird could destroy few Lieutenants in small maps like Island. What about Railgun M1? It rocks a lot!

I have M0 Rail and it is amazing. M1 Railgun works at your rank. I've seen skilled M1 Rails at early M3 ranks!

For @gojoe sure I would say no problem  but where do you draw the line? in a 999 flag battle   M0 M0 combo with holiday paint 3 mods joined no action they can only follow guide lines given to them by tanki so, please tell me where the line is drawn as clearly this shows someone not playing within the spirit of the game

ehh, If you really like it, i would get M2. But for the price, you can get a lot of other better turrets M2 IMO. I highly suggest freeze and thunder. Both are versatile and cheap. Plus, they unlock at pretty low ranks compared to rail.
