Shotgun: Hammer turret

I love the new turret: Hammer. It's a perfect weapon but its quite underpowered with its ammo clip. Please take upon my suggestion and make the turret have 5 rounds per clip. its also very vulnerable to shafts. Is it possible for when this turret is equipped you have 14% protection from shaft, when you have a light hull equipped? Also can you guys make it possible for the turret to do double damage on heavy hulls with double armor, when hammer doesnt have double power equipped?

The gun already has the strongest damage in the game, what you suggesting is just ridiculous and will flip the balance. Its reload speed and short range is what keeps it balanced. They cannot be nerfed any further

It's weird. It's overpowered at close range and extremely weak at long range. I know that it makes sense and that's what it needs to be, but I just feel like it's a strange balance. The thing that puts me off most is the fact that you can't tell the range well, so when you shoot and the enemy is just out of range you won't know that you actually missed even if your tagged was directly in front of you. It's not like Twins where you see that the shots are disappearing before they reach the target. I think the animation of the pellets hitting a tank should be more visible - it would help you estimate the damage you dealt and see if you hit the tank at all...

The reload speed is to long,actually it should be double the reload time of smoky. Also it does not have the strongest damage in the game, railgun does. I wouldnt mind the reload time if you can shoot in between the reload.

Fine if no one agrees the reload time should be tweaked, the the pellets should have a freeze effect, where your opponents are frozen for 5 seconds, allowing you to reload and get a distance back between you and your enemy. Hammer can't even handle short range battles, such as combe or sandbox. It's killed easily and can't really escape.

The idea you are suggesting actually makes practically no sense. As Isida, Freeze, and Firebird, are equally, if not more susceptible to Shafts and Railguns everywhere. That is just what you must sacrifice when you wish to use a close range turret.
